MotoCAL/MotoGAL FC on CM 5.0.6 - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
The MotoCAL and MotoGAL for CM5 are indispensible for me. After I upgraded to CM 5.0.6, I get FC everytime I open MotoCAL and MotoGAL.
Please help.
Thanks

Working absolutely fine for me. Tried wipe, flash, push them both back?

Works fine for me. Both when I upgraded and did a wipe then flash.

Purchased market app problem...

Hey all,
I purchased weatherbug elite while I was on CyanogenMod 5.07test2.
Before I flashed CM's rom I did a BART Backup of Super-D 1.11.
I flashed the rom on a FULLY wiped card, ext, dalvik and all.
CM has too many bugs for me right now so I did a BART restore.
The restore worked perfectly, however, upon reinstalling Weatherbug Elite from the Market it FC's at startup. i've even tried reinstalling Super-D from a fresh base flash and it(Weatherbug) still FC's.
Do programs that are purchased know which update I am using? (cupcake, donut, eclair...)
And do you think that it saves this info for future installs, so when I restored Super-D it still gave the version for eclair?
Fix your permissions, this is a common problem with Super-D.
That worked borodin1, thank you.
I guess I forget about fix permissions sometimes.

Trying to upgrade to CM 5.0.7.1

Hi Everyone
Just a question, I need some suggestions. I was running CM 5.0.6 when the froyo leak occured, and I used paul's update file to upgrade my phone straight from 5.0.6. Then I decided like so many others that I wanted to revert back to CM as it seemed much more stable. However, when I downloaded 5.0.7.1 and installed it, the phone would not boot. I tried wiping and reinstalling, downgrading the radio, everything, but the furthest I ever got was for it to get to the first time user wizard and then it would reboot. I reverted back to my 5.0.6 nandroid back up with no issues, but would really like to upgrade to 5.0.7.1 and live on the bleeding edge! Anyone have any ideas?

Market very slow...

Hi, since i started using Android 2.2 the Market on my phone is very slow.
Right now I'm using this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715799
The last rom that worked perfectly was Cyanogen 5.0.8, then I started using 2.2 (FRF85B and now FRF91).
I made a wipe before installing the rom and everything else works perfectly, only market is slow.

Restoring apps via a backup can cause huge problems. the best advice I can give you it to install the apk from scratch. Also for keyboards to remain as your "default", it must be installed on your internal memory
i am getting a similar thing.
i have installed swype (internal memory) it is ticked in keyboard settings but when i select input method to change keyboards nothing happens
CM6.1 RC1
EDIT bit more research found this: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/8900-cannot-switch-input-method-cm-61-rc1-to-swift-key/

[Q] Android.Process.Media problem again.

First, thanks to the developers and participants. Great work!!
All was well with my Nook Color with
CM7 7.0.2 stable, Google apps / market, Dalingrin OC emmc-040411
Then I upgraded to CM7 7.0.3
All seemed fine except I couldn't tether via USB to my computer, which I need to do.
Someone on another thread said that this was a known issue with 7.0.3. No problem, so I used Clockworkmod recovery to revert to CM7 7.0.2., then reflashed Google Apps and the Dalingrin OC to get back to where I started before the 7.0.3 upgrade.
Everything seemed fine except for the frequent error message saying that Android.Process.Media stopped unexpectedly.
So far, video doesn't work, Android App market downloads don't work and I'm sure they'll be a few more apps but it's hard to tell since the message pops up randomly (or so it seems.) The NC also seems to freeze more than normal.
Any suggestions as to how I get clean this error? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Never mind, Knaries2000 answered it in another thread.
The solution was to go to Settings/Applications/All, find Media Storage and delete it's data, then reboot.
Many thanks Knaries2000 !!!
I wish I could say never mind! I have this problem also.
I just rooted my NC last night.
CWR 3.0.2.8
ManualNooter-4-6-16
CM7 nightly-206
Google Apps 20110613
I've gone into the setup and cleared the cache as stated above, rebooted...no luck. I also read on another thread to use CWR to clear cache also, but that did not help either.
Any other suggestions?
