Tried to RUU twice. Same error both times. Phone gets stuck on HTC screen on bootup. I had fresh's 2.4 radio and the RUU gets an exclamation point after it gets to the updating radio part. perhaps that's the problem. Attaching a screenshot. Please help if you know what might be causing the problem!

ok i have a major problem i was updating the radio and it stalled on 95%. SO i restarted it at the bottom with the soft reset and now my phone wont get off the three colour BL screen. i need help bad please help. I am currently using a HTC TYTN II
if anyone has any help at all i have nearly given up I have no idea what to do when i try to reflash it it wont go past 0% on the installation!
please if anyone can as I need this working for when I leave for work tomorrow morning .........

I think you may have a long night ahead of you...
Have tried installing different ROMS but still no luck it wont budge past 0% once the installation starts and it then fails.....
Then go to the upgrading sub-forum, do a search on bricked. See if any of the results help you.
Well, since your stuck in the bootloader (tri-color) mode, make sure that you've HardSPL'd your phone. At the top left it should say "SPL-1.0.OliPof" in one of the lines in the upper left corner of the bootloader (tri-color) screen. If it does, you've HardSPL'd. If not, go here and follow the directions. After successfully putting HardSPL on the phone try reinstalling the radio.
Also, redownload the radio you're trying to install. It may have been a bad download.

I have the same problem stuck in bootloader with HardSPL installed and the top left shows SPL-1.0.OliPof.
How can i install the radio if the Activesync doesn't recognize the Kaiser?

Iam new to the flashing
I have herald (HTC P430 HERA) with wm5 ,i tried to upgrade to wm6 with TOUCH-IT.I installed the SPL and then ran the RUU ,everything was perfect the installation started normally ,durin the installation i chose the option to use the keylock ,when my htc started it kept on asking me the password on the device which i entered but it did not accepted .i kept on trying and eventually took out the battery.When i restarted the device it got showed a green scnreen with spl 1.08.000 and the turned off i tried going in to the boot ,loader but everytime i run the same ruu it gives me erorr 300 i have tried several time donwloaded each adn every ruu but all in vain and im in pain .sometime the screen get stuck on 0% . Can somebody help or atleast direct me to the right area.
So I've flashed this phone dozens of times to try all the different ROMs. Well apparently I did something wrong this time and now my phone is stuck at this screen. Regardless of how I reboot it, with the camera button+soft, etc.
At this point I just want to flash it back to the stock HTC ROM which I have gotten from HTC's site, but I keep getting error 260 when I run the utility.
I've searched the forum, but haven't found answers that have worked.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey i am stuck in bootloader. I tried to update Radio ROm and then something happened, my XP had a BSOD and when i rebooted the phone i got stuck in the loader. It says IPL 2.21.0001 and SPL 2.21.01lip.
I have been searching all over for an answer and all the threads here dont really have solutions. Please help.

Yes, how did you do it? The exact same thing happened to me right now and I freaked out.
It got stuck at 82% -- then blue screen, and now it won't get past the bootloader, so it won't activesync, so it won't reflash.

HTC Touch Pro2 (Boost) I put a Sprint TP2 on Boost mobile with the newest Energy ROM. Two days later, the screen went bad (not b/c of the ROM). I got a replacement phone and I cannot get it to unlock. I get errors (262 and 240) I have read for hours and tried several resets and still can't unlock the phone or maybe my terminology is incorrect? I cannot get the phone unlocked. I can't get Energy ROM to flash on this phone? Also, this phone runs out of battery power overnight without using it. HELP!

error 262 means a USB connection problem - see Hard-SPL thread 1st and 2nd posts for USB connection troubleshooting tips.

I'm also curious...can't remember what error 240 means - what is the error text that goes with it?
ERROR [240] : FILE OPEN
When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again.
Q: During the upgrade, the progress bar is moving. If the error message (ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR) appears, what should I do?
A: This may occur when the connection is lost, without power supply, computer host is down, or due to other unexpected cases. You will see that there’s still one progress bar displayed on the device but it is not moving any more. The device cannot get into the Wince screen, so you cannot connect with ActiveSync. This problem usually can be recovered. You just need to follow the instructions in the error message box, reset the device, and run RUU again. RUU will re-flash the whole image again.
Note: You should remove the battery and reset the Mobile Device.
