it wont load!!!!!
i have already tried adding the htcmusic.apk/and .odex to the 0.7 it wont even boot
fix is not using 0.7 the deodexed apks makes it slower anyways, maybe the optimized pngs makes up for it though
you could install the music app from the nexus one, i saw it floating around one of the forums. it does work on ivans 7 rom. that would prolly be the easiest fix.

Jam - The /data/data folder is whats needed as well, Took me all morning to get the taskmanager app I use running again. Its worked on several others that force closed. Im going to attempt to get it working w/ the deodexed files just need all of them to experiment.

/data/data doesnt come with a rom it is created after booting a rom
Right, but it doesnt properly create on some apps - its empty. Best example is to use wingtseng's task manager from the market, You will see what im talking about.
I stand corrected
I tried to copy the apk's from one of the custom ROMs and am getting the following:
http://pastebin.com/UG3Bnygt
Should this be easy enough to resolve? I'm not sure how to update the SHA in the MANIFEST so wanted to reach out to the real guru's here.
wouldnt the apk contain the widget?
i mean that sound the most logical to me..
try to get the apk and install it, see what turns out

Widget is a Widget, FriendStream.apk is an actual App.
I did try to install both APK's (check pastebin link) and resulted in SHA issues (grabbed the apk's from EvilEris 2.0)
I noticed the Incredible also has FriendStream and it's a Verizon phone so why doesn't someone pull it from there? Would that not solve the problems with getting it to work on the nonsprint roms?
If im not mistaken it is part of the updated version of HTC Sense which this 2.1 update did not contain but the incredible does.
Please feel free to correct me if im wrong.
The only parts of the new sense that came in the update were the jump feature and full screen weather animations.

Actually was in the process of doing this when I read your post.
No luck though but i have the apk's if anyone has any other ideas.
Is there a possibility that there is some sort of dependency needed before they will install?
*bump*
Wonder how to add this to a rom as well. Simply putting the 2 apk's in the /system/app directory, and trying to install from there doesn't work. I get "Application not installed".
What rom are you running?
Sounds like you might be on a senseless one.

jcase's rooted OTA.
Hmm I don't know. Really I probably don't know enough to answer.
I know I couldn't get it to work on Cyan Lightning or when using LauncherPro on EvilEris.
The only other thing I can think of is that it might not work on Verizon based roms. Its available on the Incredible though so if that is the reason I would think we would eventually have it available.
I'm sure someone will chime in with a little more knowledge in the morning.
I need these apks if anybody has them. Please?
Im trying to either get a hold of the Aria dump or if someone could just send me those two files, I want to deodex them and look at the xml file and see what I can do. If I can get friendstream.apk and the com.htc.friendstreamwidget.apk from aria build i might have a shot at it because the hardware is similar.

im trying to add the aosp dialer to damage rom.... i dont want to uninstall the original one... i also done fully understand the adb push stuff.. is there a flashable zip around.. i already searched but didnt come up wit a flash file .. they tell me to get contact apk or somethin? help plz
well for darchdroid, i have a apk for the dialer, but it needs to be flashed, or if you know adb well you need to remount the system folder as read/write and push it there.
Once you have the .apk for the dialer, do this:
adb remount
adb push nameofapk.apk /system/app
adb reboot
That'll install it for you
so i pushed the contact to the system app .. and now i dont c the thing to click the aosp dialer wat do i do ???

it wont work on damage rom. the entire rom...each app other than the google ****s have to be resigned in order for it to work. It has something to do the release keys compared to the test keys that the aosp dialer has

that was possible in 2.08 but not in 2.09. that is due to the 2.08 being a test release version of the 2.1 update. in 2.09 it is using the newest release keys version and its not possible to the do it with just the stock rom. Now you can resign all the apks individually other then google ****s cause if u sign those then it will stop some of the apps from working correctly.

thanks alot just switched roms
Also, the AOSP dialer will look like garbage on a sense rom because it depends on sprites in the framework that may or may not be there in your android build.
I tried to do it myself but I'm not smart enough ;X will continue to look into it. But in the mean time, if someone else could do it it'd be greatly appreciated ;D

Well i deleted it cuz there were newer dumps after.
What errors were you having and are you sure someone else hasn't uploaded a deodexed dump.
If you don't find any reply and i'll deodex n upload.
Same here. Some framework files fail. Log here: http://pastebin.com/YiDyTYPF
Ok i will retry then. I think i just deodexed the files i needed
If it doesn't work, we're gonna have to wait for jf as usual after every firmware release for a smali/baksmali update
Edit : Yea it cannot understand opcodes
And the wait for jf begins Wondering if he can do anything w/o source though
ah thats ok. Probably about 95% of the system has been deodexed file. Only 5 framework files and 6 apps, mostly Google apps, that didn't deodex. AOSP should be out soon so the missing stuff can always be compiled from source and for most framework files I believe they need to be.
could someone post their deodexed files? even its not complete?
Fully Deodexed 2.3 apps
Here are the 2.3 system apps from the dump supercurio provided, fully deodexed.
http://www.mediafire.com/?br7xai8bm30p2d8
For some very odd reason, I cannot get any of the framework files deodexed. All we need are those few .jars mentioned that couldn't get deodexed and we have a complete deodexed system
Got most of the files deodexed, but unfortunately ran into the same errors Daneshm90 did on some of them.

Paul aka modacco did it today its out
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Extracted apps, libs, framework from latest OxygenOS for OnePlus 2.
Deodexed with JoelDroid Lollipop Batch Deodexer
zip contains /app /priv-app /lib /lib64 /framework
We can find out what is working, devs can make ports
For now (tested on EOS CAF):
AudioFX app works, but i think we also need lib to make it 100% work
Camera app work, but FC when switching on frontal camera, videos can be recorded, when u try to take photo, nothing happens

I thought this was a flashable zip, hence the "manually". I wanted to get the AudioTuner working, but it might be missing some critical files, especially the ones from /syste/vendor/{etc,lib}. It would be great if you can get those too.
EDIT: Hold on, the ones that you gave might already be working. Just need some proper setup. I'll see what I can do.
EDIT 2: On a proper inspection, it seems that there might be missing libraries after all. Just to make sure it's all complete, we might need a full dump of the system.
May I know which ROM is this from exactly? I must be out of the loop since I never knew OxygenOS 2.0 existed. Or is this actually from HydrogenOS of the OnePlus 2?

Well. AudioTunerService keeps crashing on me about it not finding an oat file or something. Could it be that it's not deodexed, since I see an .odex file of it?

I may be very close to having a working AudioTuner, but until AudioTunerService actually runs, I won't be able to test this. Logcat shows that it refuses to run due to a missing classes.dex file in the AudioTunerService.apk, which indicates an odexed APK.
May I ask that you re-check the AudioTunerService please? The batch deodex program might have missed it.

There seems to be an issue with the apk wanted to use a shared user ID which have already been used by another system app. It is possible to revoke the usage of the user ID for said app, but I wouldn't recommend it as it could terribly mess your system up.
Which I actually did, even though I already knew it.

I can't deodex it. For some reason (which I don't know what), the odex file failed the OAT header test.

The MaxxAudio however most likely only depends on the 32-bit libraries. I was able to deodex it and got the required libraries. However, upon starting AudioTuner, AudioTunerService crashed (yet again) with a new error:
Code:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
net.oneplus.audiotunerservice.service.MaxxAudioService$3
Now, this is completely out of my realm as I have no idea about Java whatsoever. However, I'm sure that the MaxxAudioService$3 do exist when I extracted the smali from the odex file. Does that mean the apk was not deodexed properly after all?
Attached are what I have so far. I have no idea where to go from here. May need to decompile the apk, but I don't know java. I guess I'll leave this here and see what the others can do about it.

Here's an updated archive of it. Should have everything inside. Note that you need to apply the correct permissions. (0755 for folders, 0644 for files)
I only tested on Sultanxda's CAF 12.1 (latest build). And of course, as I have stated above, it didn't work. I may be missing something a lot more important than just the library dependencies. YMMV.
Would be glad if any of you could help getting this to work. Thank you.
