First sorry for my english xD
So,i have a problem with a headphone, everytime when i call someone,i dont hear nothing, but when i switch on speaker everything is fine....so where is a problem, is headphone dead or some system error??
Headphone ...
nearly same problem, the headphones are tested and working.
But with the diamond it does not work. no sound in the headphones. The extUSB connector looks not damaged. Any suggestions ?

I tried multiple rom updates ( downgraded, upgraded ) and I cant get my speaker to work again after it suddenly stopped working today after listening to winamp.
Headphones work fine. I didnt hit, slam or throw it down so I really have no clue what this problem is... anyone have an idea ?
Most likely (I'm willing to bet) that your headphone jack is broken and thinks you still have your headphone inserted (Muting all noise on the phone's speaker). Try playing with the headphone jack by inserting and removing your headphone a couple of times. Some people had luck with that, I read one here recently someone cleaned their headphone port by blowing air in there and their phone speaker worked again. Good luck.
i had same thing happen to me today. yes, wiggle the headphone jack and you'll get your speaker back.
back to-resoldering the headphone jack (it's the 3rd time it becomes loose).
i've said this before -- the build/material quality of blueangel SUCKS.
If I receive a call while I have headphones connected through the USB connector the ringer sounds through the phone speaker as well as the headphones (Normal profile). On every other phone I've had, inserting headphones into a jack socket mutes the external speaker.
Is this peculiar to the S730/Wings or the custom USB connector? Is there a fix or hack for it?
I could put the phone on vibrate but then I wouldn't hear the ringtone through the headphones - or probably remember to switch back to Normal when finished!

thats odd, mine just rings thru the headphones, not the phone speaker.
sometimes the music comes out of the speakers eventhough the headphones are plugged in. this is very stupid when im in the bus or train....
it suddenly happens and cant be cured (need to restart)
how can i avoid this?

The ExtUSB port is designed with a metal contact on the square side (on the "back" of the port) to detect the headphones. Make sure that the contact is made. This may or may not be the problem; but it's a good starting point.
I'm thinking not in my case because the ext speaker is muted for music but an incoming call will activate it?
It sounds like something software related but I don't know where to look.
I had a look at a friend's Kaiser yesterday and that does exactly the same thing (and I tried their HTC media controller in my Wings), so it doesn't look like it's exclusive to this model.
Yes. This was posted also by darksider:
if im listening to music with any application through the earphones, it makes-that the sound is at once also playing through the phone speaker, and i have to restart
hey i have the same problem....
if i am listening to music using the headphone and i become a call, then the ringtone comes through the speakers and also the music that i am listening to.
this is a big problem..
thanks
any solution??!?!
I suffered the same problem in the bus, and was very embarrassed because everybody looked at me and I didn't notice...
You have to report this problem to HTC (or reseller). More responses = better chance to find the solution in upgrade. But you HAVE TO DO IT!!!

Hi community.
Yesterday a problem occured on my phone. As i plugged my earphones into the headphone jack i noticed that i could hear only the right one, while the left's volume was very low.I have tried with other pairs of earphones, but the problem remains the same.I'm asking if this is a hardware problem, because when i plug my speakers i can't see any problem. And yes,i did put the earphones to the jack all the way down, but it doesn't work.
Thanks in advance
