I was wondering if there was an app that could update all your apps and install the updates automatically without having to go through them one by one. That gets really annoying.

The best I know of so far is aTrackDog. And it's really not so great. You have to manually check for updates and install them each individually.
I would love to hear anybody else's suggestions. This really does get annoying.

i read something that when the dev test a new app but is not ready to be released. it still shows up as an update. just look at it as it will soon come out. at least you know the dev is updating apps
what atrackdog does is take info from everyone who uses atrackdog. so if you see an update that isnt out yet, that means that the dev(s) of the program use atrackdog and its picking up the unreleased version they're working on. atrackdog is one of the best apps for ANY android phone.

Ok..the thing is that this thread is asking for an app that will automatically update all the apps so that you don't have to do it manually.
So I guess I am asking for an automatic app updater and installer...if that makes sense.

For the purpose of this thread, it doesn't meet what he's requesting. I'm not saying as an app it isn't good. I used to use it all the time. For what it does, it does it great. But for what he wants, it doesn't.
Ok, let me rephrase my previous statement.
The app you're looking for does not exist.
Ok then ^^
Would it be possible to make an app like that?
Bump. Please someone tell me if it's doable!

cool , so perhaps you wanna try my theme , check it out in the themes and apps section , the longest title thread ever this will be mine
Yeah I bought that app too and later found it useless for me. All it does is basically periodically turn things off. I generally uninstall things I don't use every day or every other day. It reduces bloat, helps boot/reboot/shutdown speeds, and gives the system more free resources to use if it needs them. No use having stuff run that you don't use often or at all.
Apparently they are not needed. Is that true?
In most of cases yes you are right but it also depends on which rom you are using.
You can use LMK if your rom have that functionality.

I just reply to someone about this -> here
Task killers where needed on froyo, but since ginger most apps are killed when u close them and almost all apps running are needed.
So no u don't need task killer.try "ram manager" from market if u multitask a lot or play big games.
Short answer: True for GB but on some ICS Customs its handy for extra but also not really necessary.

If you are only going to use it on wifi, try putting the phone into Airplane mode, then enabling the wifi again. If this doesnt work, let me know and I shall see what I can come up with.

I could help you, but the app that allows this to be done requires,
A. Root
B. a purchase of $1.50 USD
If you are willing to do this, let me know. As for another way, I am looking into it.

Guide to Hide Airplane Icon
First off, do a backup just to be sure. Also, just as a precision, I always say, "I am not responsible for bricked or damages devices."
1. Download ROM TOOLBOX from the Play Store
2. Open ROM TOOLBOX
3. Scroll over to the right and find "Interface"
4. Click on "Statusbar Icons"
5. Click on "Airplane"
6. Click on "Transparent"
7. Purchase just the license that allows you to use Status Bar mods, labeled "Unlock statusbar icons"
8. Install the new icon as shown below:

I would love to see them live, they rarely ever tour the states though... I did see Steven Wilson solo for The Raven That Refused to Sing and that was phenomenal! He played well over 2 hrs.
