Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked before but couldn't find it. What happens if I flash a stock rom for country intended other than mine? Is there any advantage/disadvantage to it?

Is that all the information you think we require in order to help you?
Give detailed info on what rom / kernel you have and the process used to install them at least.
okay, first, my x8 is already in stock kernel and stock rom, 2nd i flash nAa-ics-04 thru flashtool(already unlock bootloader)then I opened the phone I waited 3-5 mins nothing happened, i flash minicm9 and miui snapseries-ics same thing nothing happened 5-10 mins waiting time bootloop on "nAa logo" so i decided back to stock rom / kernel. :crying:
have you try full data wife/factory reset before installing the rom?

Yes, that is normal. You can't install Gingerbread ROM over JB. You will end up in soft brick, now you need to flash stock JB firmware again. I think that recovery is not working now too, so you can't just flash JB ROM.

So any other way to unbrick?

Go to samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com/firmwares and search our device I9070. On sammobile you can see the install process, it's easy

Yes, and you can't flash JB ROM (custom ROM) because you can't go to recovery. And you must flash firmware with Odin.
Thanks, it helped!
