Hey guys,
After modding the hell out of my fascinate, I kinda miss the stock music player app, with its ability to be controlled on the lockscreen and via notification bar. Could anyone provide the zip or apk file for this app?
Thanks.

Maybe download a rom or something, and extract just that apk. It is probably in SC.

Down load the deodexed ED01 rom that Adrynalyne posted in dev.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044406
Then extract the music player from the system/apps folder.
Then move it to the system/app folder on your phone using adb or root explorer.
Thanks!

I pushed the stock music apk to system apps with root explorer and it works after reboot, but had to move the other music apk out of system apps to sdcard first.

I have been doing some research and learned that the default android font is called "Droid Sans". I can see it on /sys/fonts, but all the fonts available in Fusion VI are in sys/app and their file names start with "com." and have an .apk file extension. how can I reinstall it?

I havent been on my captivate in a while, but I know that you can use the UOT kitchen to create a flashable zip of the font you want.

Just use 7zip
I'm trying to do it from my phone, I have no computer

All you have to do then is change the .mtz to .zip and then unzip it like normal using root explorer, es file manager, etc...

Great question. Trick is.. no 7zip for OSX. What to do if using a Mac?
Unzipping sounds easy enough but what about rezipping back up into mtz?

zipping is quit easy too, zip it to a .zip and rename it to .mtz? not so heavy?
Ok, say I want to change the icons in the mtz, the icons are in a file called "icon" without a file extension, how would I go about doing this?

Ok, I did everything that was suggested, and when I load the mtz it says theme does have the required resources. Any ideas?

Hi, all.
I seem to be running into some issues with trying to change wallpapers.
I'm using GO LAUNCHER EX, and have no problems changing wallpapers that come with the themes, but it seems actually customizing the wallpaper is giving me the issue.
I've tried a few wallpaper apps, all of which close themselves when I hit the "set as wallpaper" button. Not sure what the issue is with these apps. The latest one I put on here is Pic Speed, I believe it's called, does the same thing. Am I suck with manually changing wallpapers by changing out the wallpaper files in the themes res folder or am I doing something wrong with these apps?

Download an app called "Backgrounds HD wallpapers". You will love the choices.

Do you have have a link? The one I found gives error during install. I moved the file to system/app than changed properties and try to install. Didn't work.

Sure. I'm using this one

Edit: just move to system/app and fix permissions. No need to install at that point. It IS installed when you put in system.

Downloaded custom rom on internal sd
Then as said delete that rom zip just as you delete any file .
To do it from you're device just download es file explorer from the play store and go to the files and delete them there
