Is there a way to change the color of the clock screensaver on CM6? The current blue is too bright for me, it's almost like leaving a lamp on when I'm sleeping.

Thanks, I was only doing Menu at the dock screen, not after choosing Alarm.

I have the "Display the clock in the title bar in all programs" setting turned on. It used to show as a digital clock but now for some reason it shows as an analog clock (a picture of a circle with clock hands and everything). I can't find any setting to change it back, it's pretty stupid because it's so small you can't really tell what time it is. Anyone know? Thanks

Just tap and hold the clock in your taskbar and select digital. Good luck.

Thanks a lot!
No problem
Im so pleased that ive found the solution to this that i registered just to say thanks! Exactly the same thing happend to my phone a couple of weeks ago and i kept trying to press the clock and it wouldnt allow me to change it back, it was so frustrating! I didnt realise you had to (simply) keep your finger on it! haha! thanks again!
I really want to get rid of the clock on my status bar. Can anyone help me?
you cant remove it but i think you can make it invisible. however the space that the time takes up will still be there. any reason why you want it removed?

If you have a widget clock like the one on sense then it's redundant to have 2 places where time is shown.

Not always, with me having the Cliq and can't change the clock color(yet) We have black themes so we can't see the clock. It didn't bother me since I had Beautiful Widgets at first. But then I realize how annoying it was always switching to the home screen to look at the time if I was in the middle of some task.
of course you can get rid of the clock, you just need to add this line into the statusbar xml file
android:visibility="gone"
that will remove the clock and will remove the space used for it as well, i would recomend you try apk tool on your framework-res.apk
Heres my experience in the past lol, I got rid of my clock, thinking a widget clock and that status bar clock is useless. About a day after, I couldn't help it. Got it back because that widget clock isn't as useful! It looked great at first, but I couldn't just rely on the widget!
Correcct me if im wrong but the lockscreen shows the time correct?

Do you honestly want to lock and unlock your phone/ go to your home screen to see the time? Seems kind of annoying to me...

For me it's good cause you can hold the green thing to bring up the (ancient secret)and say alarm or whatever it is to bring up the alarm app.

Um.... that's not exactly the most practical way, bringing up Voice Dialer (Gasp, someone else knows) will close what ever your in (or suspend it technically)

Is this possible? I find it redundant to use beautiful widgets with a clock already on the screen...
Thanks.

I'm sure it would be by modding the framework file. You should maybe start there and see where that goes.
You can do it by modding the framework file, or take the easy way like I did and use launcherpro and have it set to hide the notification bar.

Thought of that, but then I cant see my notifications at the top which I use a lot.. id just like to remove the clock, and slide all the battery and signal info to the right to take up its space.
I found work-arounds for that problem too lol. I customized my dock with 'call', 'texts', and 'gmail' icons and set the preference to show the 'unread' or 'missed call' count on the icon. I think it just makes my home screen look cleaner. Plus I get the full screen view of Katy Perry's half naked body woot woot.
Or you can also just set the notification bar to be hidden, and set the home softkey to pull down the notification bar.
Name: TileClock
This is a HTC style clock I created using WP7 live tiles.
The official market place doesn't allow apps like these because of the more enthusiastic background processing.
This is a very simple tile clock without any customization.
Just pin the app to the home screen, start the app and enable the clock.
Enabling the clock will pin a second tile.
Arrange the tiles in your home screen so they form the HTC style flip clock.
The clock updates rely on the background task.
If the background task doesn't run (disabled by the user or power save mode) then the clock stops updating.
This app requires a dev-unlocked device (official or chevron).
Update:
Separate apps for 12h and 24h support for when the switching option doesn't work.
The original 2.1 can of course still be used when the switching option does work.
Enjoy.
why another tileclock app
nice app..can we please have 12 hour & 24 hour choices in settings please?

Below is a screen of a custom them that I made, hope you like it. Also I would like possible names to name this theme. Thanks.
Once I have a name for the theme I will upload it.
For my next theme I wan to try to make something like or similar to the pic below.
If some one beats me to it or would like to give it a shot, let me know I would love to see others work.

Thank you rkuiper for creating this wonderful app. Say I had a question, have thought about submitting this app to MS?
Can't wait for the 12 hour option. Until then, I'll do the conversion.

I tried submitting it, but the background-tasking required for an app like this is not (yet) allowed by Microsoft.
Just tried 2.0 with 12 hour support, and I can't get the 12 hour setting to stick. I check it, exit out, and it's still 24 hour. When I open the app, the setting is unchecked.
I'm currently working on a Fire theme wich might take some time because having to create a custom jpg for each number but below is a pre-view.

Does any one know how to reduce the brightness of the screen other than using lux app or any other app... Is there a way to do that by editing some files in the system?? And how to change the background of the app drawer completely black just like cm11??

If you're talking about dim the minimum brightness use gravity box xmod. To the black notification panel (if you mean only the drawer increase the background transparency, I use nova launcher pro) use gravity box or xblast tools. And next time be less arrogant to who try to help you. Have fun
