How different could the international build be from the usa version?
For some reason this mugen case doesn't support the usa version. I want to get the extended battery 2600mah and this is the only decent case for the phone.

Does the Euro HD2 and the tmobile HD2 share the same battery.. can i buy a Hd2 battery and use it in the tmobile one??
Yes you can.
I have a T-mobile HD2 and looking to buy the Vikuiti screen protector. Its not specified if the screen protector was for the T-mobile, international or Telstra version. Can anyone confirm if the screen size/dimensions/button arrangement are the same or different between the different HD2 models? Do I need to look specifically for the T-Mobile version?
Hi... can anyone confirm? I would really hate to buy one online and find that it doesn't fit my HD2. Can't seem to find this info through the search feature
THAnks
No, the US T-Mobile version and the UK (or other country not US) version are different sizes.
Check out the dimensions on GSMArena pages:
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_hd2-2957.php UK or not0US version
http://www.gsmarena.com/t_mobile_hd2-3228.php - US version
The UK version is 120.5mm tall, the US is 122mm.
Make sure you get one that's specifically for the T-Mobile (or US) version of the Hd2 - and DON'T buy from Zagg - they're the worst - they sent the UK version to me then refused to refund or accept any return because they claimed the devices were the same size and I was mistaken - they're complete idiots, have horrible customer service, and sell the same stuff for higher prices.
Bodyguardz.com used to have separate items for the US and Uk versions - but now have only the one. Maybe ask them if they have a single version that fits both models before buying.
I'm currently in China, and I have ordered my One. My Chinese level isn't so good, so I am unsure if the phone I am getting is the international version or the Chinese version. Looking on the HTC China website, it is advertising the model with the removable back cover. Anyone with greater knowledge on these matters than me know if these phones will be compatible for the Roms/kernels that will be made for the international version?
As far as I know, the only difference is the inclusion of dual sim cards and the micro sim.

It's hard to say because of the limited information still available on the Chinese variants. Typically the China Unicom version is closest to the international version and with other devices, international Roms work. China mobile will definitely not work because they use TD-CDMA which is unique to China mobile only. China telecom should also be similar to China unicom version.
I am buying straight from HTC, but they are advertising the removable back cover on their website... So I am unsure if that means they won't be selling the international version in their retail stores.

the HTC china version is different from international, it has 3 version TDCDMA, WCDMA, and CDMA2000. the WCDMA varience support two sim card (one WCDMA micro sim one GSM normal sim), pls micro sd card.
i'm also in China and actually interesting in this model as well, but there will probably be very little XDA support(custom rom) , so i may end up getting the international version.
also note that the WCDMA only support 900/2100MHz band.
I'm just about to make the same decisions.
Now that I've ruled out the Xperia Z and am getting ready to buy the HTC One, I'm surely interested in the benefits of having an SD-slot as well as Dual Sim support, but worry that I might not get to participate on the customs rom frenzy, even if it is just to get rid of all the pre-installed Unicom crap.
Has anybody had the chance to try it out yet?
I have the D802 international model. I want to buy a good case for it. when i search the web there are few cases that fits T-mobile/AT&T/Verizon. I know that verizon are not compatible for my device. what about T-mobile/AT&T? which one is suits best for the international D802 model?

I am guessing if a case doesnt fit verizon and the one youre looking at does, but also tmobile and AT&T then all cases for AT&T and Tmobile also wont fit. Verizon model is wider I think.
All the big case company like incipio and ballistic make cases for this model and not for the international. I think I will have to wait alot of time till there will be high qualety case for the international model. I realy want to try the incipio dualpro case but i dont want to wast my money on a case that wont fit.
This really sucks. I never understood this fixation from the US companies to alter the phones and make it incompatible with tons of stuff.. Sure, they can sell their own accessories in a larger quantity, but how many customers do they lose instead?
It's frustrating when you live in Europe.. It's as if many companies even forget that there is something like a country that's not the USA, and in many cases that there are phones besides iphone. More accessories to the people!
I bought this case: www dot ebay dot nl/itm/Flip-case-for-LG-G2-D802-D802TA-with-S-view-Auto-wake-sleep-function-sensor-/200969510257 (sorry for that URL, I'm a new member so apperantly I can't post URLs....
It looks really interesting, especially because it has that QuickWindow thingy, which I haven't seen before on these kind of third party cases.

I just searched yesterday in Indonesia, and there were two cases. I got one that is from Korea (voia.co.kr) and is a QuickWindow case. It is exactly like the official LG G2 case, except cheaper!
The only other one I saw that was interesting was on Amazon. It is a QuickWindow case, but instead of hard plastic for backing, it is completely leather and can be used as a stand. But I prefer the hard casing because I would just be afraid of dropping the leather version. It is also not compatible with Verizon.

Am i missing something here? How is it even possible that the same phone now has different dimensions depending on regions/carriers? I thought only the branding and stock software were manipulated for the US carriers. Has this been done before for previous phones? I buy only international unlocked models, so i'm not aware what goes on with the US carriers.
So, LG apparently designed two (maybe there's more?) different sizes of their flagship phone? What is actually different? Is it just the physical size? Is there any difference in hardware that would justify the different sizes? Can someone please provide more details about all the different LG G2 models and compare their differences?
Back on topic: IF you have the international model, this should fit http://www.otterbox.com/Commuter-Se...?dwvar_lgx4-g2_colorĀ =20&start=1&cgid=lgx4-g2 although it clearly states "NOT compatible with the LG G2 (Verizon)".
I have g2 d802 - the international model.
I want to order DualPro incipio case:
incipio.com/cases/smartphone-cases/lg-smartphone-cases/lg-g2-cases.html
What kind do I need to choose for it to fit my d802? Verizon / att / sprint&tmobile?
Thx

I would take a look at the pictures on the website and see which one looks like the back of your phone & buy that one. If your phone has the extra mic on the back, buy the AT&T version. If the phone does not, get the Tmobile version.
Do not buy the Verizon version unless this is the version you have
Anyone know for sure if the d802 is like the att or the tmobile?

Not at&t, i ordered the poetic palette for my d-802 and it does not fit at all, it's the at&t version.
Americans carrier are really stupid to change the phone, because of that case manufacturers does not support the lg g2 like other phones.
So sprint maybe.
I've done a comparison between all carriers
AT&T has a cut out for extra microphone which the international D-802 version doesn't have
Verizon changes the look of the phone completely making the phone Very ugly
Sprint & T-Mobile are the same as international
And If you look at the cases It will be like this
T-mobile - $$
AT&T - $$
Sprint/T-Mobile (They should always be together) - $$
Hope you understand
