Windows Mobile 6.1 for HTC Touch Diamond

I have the HTC Touch Diamond with Windows 6.1 Mobile in Dutch (given to me by my employer). I would like to download Windows 6.1 Mobile in English and install it on my HTC.
Is this possible?

You can't download and install the OS as such. But you can flash another ROM with Windows 6.1 Mobile in English. Be it an official HTC ROM or any other ROM 'cooked' for the Diamond by forum members. Read this forum and this topic carefully about flashing Diamond ROM's. Good luck!

Try Memo 2.5.5.0, nice rom, WM 6.1 with manila sense 2.5

You can use any WinMo 6.5 ROM you wan't, there is no real difference between the versions besides the language. You can use this guide for flashing your device:

Hi!!
just bought my first windows mobile, htc touch hd, and I want to flash WM 6.5 on it.... I have several questions:
Is it safe to do that? or should I be worried about some complications?
what kind of knowlege I should have to do that? or does it as simple as having a new windows operating system on my laptop?
where can I find a step by step clear, simple english, instructions how to do that?
Is it different from the upcoming official windows mobile 6.5? am I going to be able to download applicatons from the upcoming offical windows mobile marketplace?

Ok you really need to do some reading.
First go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377 then thank Digital Outcast for his excellent guide.

He is new here so he can't help it.
Windows mobile 6.5 go to www.htc.com, then click support. select the htc touch pro 2 and then there is an update with windows mobile 6.5. just follow the instructions.
The custom operating systems made here are called ROMSs. it takes some reading before you know what you have to do to use them. If you are just looking for a stable ROM with windows mobile 6.5 and nothing else, go to the HTC site.
For more info about these custom ROMs you can read the wiki on this site.
