Name suggestions for HTC concepts - Off-topic

I have a graphics project coming up and I've decided to do a concept for an HTC device. This project will include the device and the packaging. So I need a suitable name. I've decided to go with a music themed name (although others will be considered) to keep with the current flow of devices, HTC Mozart and HTC Aria. Here are a few that I have found to be appealing but please post up what you think might be a good name.
- HTC Brilliante
- HTC Forte
- HTC Primo
- HTC Presto
- HTC Vivo
I will post up the final device when I'm finished!

HTC Jackson

HTC Storm
HTC Falcon
HTC Swift
HTC Arc
HTC Sidewinder
HTC Sidearm
HTC Shotgun
HTC Sho-gun
HTC Ninja
HTC Phantom
HTC Ghost
I can do this all day! I love my incredible!

I'm just thought of HTC Duet. The marketing aspect of this is going to be that it can dual boot Android and WP7 so it might be well suited.

HTC chaos, dual core processor, high end gpu, more RAM than ever ,high pixel density. chaos HTC chaos

LMAO. Great sales pitch. But I might go with Illuminate. There are capacitive buttons at the front that are an extension to the display. Might support the "Illuminate" term.

The one.. The only..

These are specs from hell.

"The Htc Optic"

I don't care about grammer for this post.
HTC Quantum
8.0 MP W/ dual led flash and a big sensor so pictures come out good
1.5ghz dual core
latest and greatest gpu
1gb ram
1gb rom(separate chip)
16gb on board(true and non diminished by rom) + expansion slot
4.0 in screen
capacitive buttons
deticated camera key
deticated silent/vibrate key
wireless n
has a brother that has a keyboard named Quantum X, it had to loose the good camera for a decent 5 megapixel with single led flash, it also had to loose on board 16gb, only has expansion slot
Has similar design's to the HTC Legend, mixed with the desire HD and its non removable back. The back looks like a slim camera with the lens being pretty big

You can't use Swift
LG GT540 Swift

iPhone
Or have I missed the point
HTC equilibrium sounds good to me.

HTC villain
Eliminates devices nearby
- every time it gets out of sleep mode an iPhone is destroyed
- specs change when ever an iPhone tries to overcome it
Perfect for the villain inside of you, presenting HTC villain

HTC Alpine
Sounds good right?
It'll run android 1.5 with stock android ui.
0.3 Mega-Pixel Camera with video footage filmed at 16pixels by 9pixels.
1.00mb of RAM, 10mb visible and 10mb of internal storage for apps.
2.5" QVGA resistive screen.

what the sensor has to do with taking pictures while recording a video? or with the continuous clicks?
they just updated the camera software n i guess the Devs will find a way to move it to our XL..
hopefully
Doubt it, too. The XL Camera it's not quick enough to snap the picture like that
It should be on sense 3.6

in fact, HTC one while using continuous clicks is canceling the "auto focus" option and if u remove this option on ur XL camera and put "no review" u'll see how fast will it be
i believe it works with XL
yeah I think XL will get it in future..its based on software.
The XL will not get any kind of ImageSense update/port/whatever, simply because ImageSense is part of the firmware as well as a piece of exclusive hardware built into the phone.

[Q] looking for htc one camera app for samsung galaxy note

looking for htc camera app which all functions in htc one x including taking pics while video recording...
Me too I thought it was standard ics but waiting for someoneor some easy
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
Not possible to use htcs app you will need htcs framework AND the image processing chip built into the device. If you want it you will have to buy a HTC one x
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Premium HD app
What about the option on the HTC One/One Max camera where you can "slowmo" only a portion of the captures video instead of the whole video, is that possible on our Galaxy devices?

Sensation ports?

Any chance of seeing a port from the Sensation development section, possible something like Venom ROM, and the burst shot/ImageSense port from Sense 4?
Before you ask, yes, someone managed to get burst shot mode and possibly photo taking while video recording to work on the Sensation, so it is no great leap to say that the Vivid will be able to have the same.
One issue that seems to be present, however, is the RIL, which seems to be broken on the Sense 4 port over at Rootzwiki.
If we can get the ril fixed then pribibly otherwise kinda sol for sense 4 but I wish android revolution would come to vivid

[APP] Epic Citadel {Amazing Graphics on our little phone :)}

So this app has been around on iOS for three years now, but has only today arrived on Android.
130mb download can be quite a hassle but I think it is worth it. To clarify: this is a game, (well sort of?) in which you can explore a town/castle with the surroundings. It has no real gameplay or missions or anything, but it's nice to know what amazing graphics our little beast is capable of
Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epicgames.EpicCitadel
Graphics are really amazing, screens taken from my phone attached
Oh yeah, before I forget, you can also use the app to benchmark
wow nice pics. do you use the jellybean drivers that have just resurfaced in this section ?
If not perhaps you could try them as see if theres a difference.
I do use the drivers and have as habit when they were posted , i just have all this sort of stuff backed up on my pc so just pull it when I need it.( I still have a Nameless v5.05 backed up with the original OC's In case the new offical rom ended up not as good as the old rom nameless was based off .:good:
Jb drivers indeed, they are pretty awesome
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
Jellybean drivers don't add more fps instead it lowers it by .4 or .3 in some gpu benchmark app making it slower than the original htc ics egl drivers.
screen looks bettter tho

I really like it, great phone. However the only reason I am considering selling it is the fact that I simply CANNOT get my WiFi hotspot to work, so it may be time to move on.
Personally I don't like the SGS4 due to Touchwiz, otherwise that's a solid little phone too. Can't really comment on the other two.
idk what to do i have offer to trade my htc one for iphone 5 neverlock it is worth it
Galaxy S4 is Samsung so it's automatically meh. The G2 would be cool if it didn't have the rear buttons and the Nexus 5 will be a great device. I still however think that the HTC One is the best phone on the market currently. So well balanced and aside from the camera issue in low light, It's perfect.

I'm on ARHD, newest version and newest firmware and my wifi tether works fine. I use it for xbox live lol. Have you tried the built in wifi hotspot utility or are you using some 3rd party app?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
- sense gives the most true added value to android
- touchwiz is ugly, and i can live with the yellows whites of the Samsung devices
- after try a GE rom, in the ONE, yes is a little more smooth, but the battery is a little worse, but the only thing that is really important is that the pure android experience is boring, far to be bad, but boring... so I dont see me with a nexus phone, but I really want to have the new N7

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was temperamental and inconsistent even when I was on ARHD. Perhaps it is a hardware issue, which is no good for me at all. Using the stock HTC Hotspot.
