Alright guys the rom we've all been waiting for is on the way and we need help from any members skilled at using photoshop. We have only a few days to completely get these couple changes made to the theme used in his 2.5 for the next iteration which is 3.0. Heres what we talked about so if theres anyone that can make this happen we're gonna try to get it in 3.0 before release. We'll try keeping it a Dark/Gingerbread Green outset. Any helpers bring on the photoshop goodness. Di11igafs 3.0 JPU Super Rom coming next few days so hurry.

those are all great ideas. i actually tried the green circle batt. but everytime i tried messing with it the battery icon would completely disappear so i just went back with the one that i could get working (the darker one)
as far as the other stuff, if i had the images i would try to implement those things, but im no photoshop genius. not even close. so if you can find something with that stuff in it see if you can pull me the images or link me to it and ill see if i can get them and then get them to work in 3.0.
should be done in a few days and themeing hasnt even really started yet so door is still open..

It is Di11igafs 2.5 JK3 Captivate Rom. I just used beautiful widgets and launcher pro to theme on top of their great Theme already present. This thread is to get HELP photoshop wise to make a few updates mainly on taskbar and the gingerbread keyboard. Just read above. It isnt a post your screen thread as there is already one in this section. Thanks to anyone who is interested pm me or Di11igaf.
The few things I would say are:
- Make the transition animations optional
- Optional Captivate lockscreen w/the puzzle pieces
- Make the top of windows actually aligned with the rest of it. I know that's not a very good description, but just press hold the home button to bring up the recent apps list. You'll see that the top title bar where it says "Recent" doesn't actually line up with the border of the window. That definitely needs to be fixed.
- Keep the dark themed Google search widget
- Keep the dark themed Market
- Everyone seems to be a fan of the transparent pulldown menu, but I'm not. I think the carbon-fiber looking background with the galaxy "S" logo on it from the Darkness theme looks great when not transparent. Not a big deal though, I can change it myself if everyone else likes it being see through.
- Add an "H" icon for when the phone is connected to HSPA+
All I can think of for now. Can't wait for 3.0.

Wouldn't we need the framework apk to change the wireless signal and battery circle? It probably won't be the same one as 2.5 because the firmware is different.

Keyboard is finished. Attachment is at the bottom.
Download the attached .zip file and copy to your SD card.
Boot into clockwork mod recovery.
Choose "install zip from sdcard" in clockwork mod.
Pick the "Gingerbread_Keyboard_Nrange.zip" and install.
Reboot and you're done.
Credits to kennethpenn, Peter Alfonso & Fabolous for the keyboard posted here. I used this to mod since I got rid of the Gingerbread Keyboard already.

Yeah, I'll get the circle no problem. I can get the images but I wont be able to get a flashable apk until di11igaf releases his framework-res.apk. If you can get him to send you an early copy I'll mod it tonight.

That's the 3.0 framework but it doesn't have circle battery mod yet. I sent it through the online kitchen, just to get the 100% increments, and then tried the pngs on my phone with metamorph but no matter what I do it's not the right color of green. Finally got the keyboard working though.
Looks like a god bit of progress..Keyboard is working as it should after CWM flash. Yeah I forgot to mention that that's 3.0 framework without circle battery mod so not sure if there's anything else I can do. Just lemme know if somethings needed though and ill find a way.

Are you both using the same kernel. xcaliburinhands currently has trouble flashing themes through clockwork, setirons does not.

it says the theme control file is missing... open it back up and select existing... then open the file and click the xml file... this requires a reboot.. this only changes the background and lower bar, nothing else..

I'm working on more transparent... Using astro just go in and change anything you want to, its in the android themes.. Just use the bottom bar and put it where you want it...

Does this metamorph work with the newer superuser versions? I have tried with no luck with other xml's with the latest superuser application.
Is usb debugging checked in settings? I don't see why it wouldn't work...

Trust me, it doesn't work lol. I have tried with the swype mod as well as the naked touchwiz when I had the superuser 2.3.2.1 and 2.3.3. I just wanted to see what others were using. What superuser are you using? And if you have the newer ones what did you do, because I did and did not have debugging enabled when I tried.
Ill update my su app and see if it still works...

I would suggest making sure you back up the superuser that you have if it is not the newer 2... version. Just incase this happens to you as well you aren't stuck with it. But I am curious because I have not heard many others state what superuser they are using with metamorph.
I do have a question though, could you make the colors match the android guy, meaning the colors for the wifi, bluetooth etc as well as the bottom bar?

Thats cool. It was just a suggestion. DId you try a different superuser?
The idea of this is nice, but the implementation isn't. The regular notification is a darker grey and it winds up mixing in with the added notification stuff which is whiteish. Then if you try to revert to stock it's half grey, half white and wholly not right looking. I'm restoring a nandroid backup right now.
I'd love a version of this that ONLY turns the background grey panel black and transparent.

Fairly sure I can second this. Only thing I have done to my phone was super-rooter, from a fresh flash of JF6. No morph will work. super-rooter installs SU2.3.3 iirc. Going to re-flash and try unleash the beast and check that

No.morphs work on the captivate. I'm running your morph right now. I have been asking for a couple days now if anyone else could confirm about the newer super user issue. Maybe check the vibrant folks but I gather morphs do not work at all with the new super user. If that is the case a thread it something should be made to let people know not to use the new super user if you want to use a morph.

Yeah, super user issue. I had been running the older version forever and had no problems with morphs. When I switched to JH3 I used the new super user and couldn't get any morphs to work. I'm back on JH2 now with the older super user and I'm having no problems.

In the vibrant section there is a clear bar morph... If you just flash the twframework-res.apk it is trans without the droid...

I really like both of those, #7 especially but minus the blue. I'll see what I can do, this may take a bit longer as there are a lot more apps involved such as the dialer but I'll take a look tonight for you!

You can do exactly that, just delete the fonts folder from inside the zip, just don't unzip it as you could run into problems from it.

I applied this theme over my existing theme (Emotionless Beast) but the lock screen stayed the TouchWiz version. How do I get that custom vanilla lock screen?
Edit: never mind, I realized that this theme just modifies the lock screen, it doesn't install the vanilla one. I flashed the vanilla lock screen, then flashed the theme again and all is good

Lol correct. But you need to know how to edit .9.png's, there are guides on XDA just do a search ^. And no, you won't need to resign if you just delete the file in the .zip and then replace it with your edited copy. Make sure it isn't being compressed though.

This was ported to Continuum v4(themed) and everything appears to be in working order. You should be able to flash this over both themed and unthemed versions of Continuum without any problems.

As it appears the time of Froyo is just about over for our Captivates there will likely be no updates. The theme is working great as is.

this may have been posted but I can't tell because the xda background in posts are black and so is the text so you can't read! Otherwise I like it! Is this something u can fix quickly or should I just flash theme back to stock? On continuum 4.0
EDIT: If you change settings, display style to dark you can see the text. Not a big deal really, just wanted to mention it as others may run across it. I liked the stock theme on continuum the best so far until this one....its really nice, thanks for the port!

I can make you a revert when I go to lunch, I have Serendipity downloaded at home.
Could the google talk app be themed too? Just due to the white on white background. And the unblock screen selection is scrambled but besides that... ))
Choosing the epic lockscreen is the honeycomb lockscreen. Working great atm.

I'll do some testing tonight.
I fixed/changed the animations to the rudolph ones that shoman has in the mattedblues port as well as changed the dialer to xtreme's steal blue themed dialer(to remove video calling button). I'll have the update posted soon.
I noticed the unlock screens are kinda screwy. Had to pick rotary to get epic, epic was actially rotary, so forth. Just wanted to let you know, in case you didn't.

This was reported by shoman as well. This is the only real issue I've found with this port. I was able to fix them but then I had black text on black dialogs that I haven't been able able to track down a solution for.
Ill be uploading an update with fixed animations and a dialer without the video call button in a bit though. Same lockscreen issue present in the update

This is a modified port of my Caelum theme for the D1 LGB. There have been a lot of improvements and a somewhat different feel to it. It has a very gentle white/black appearance and less blue (although still has blue in it)
This is for LTB 2.2 only. Cannot garuntee it will work on any other versions or roms..but I will be porting to future releases of LTB.

Launcher Pro already has the docks built into the theme. To change docks, go to preferences, appearance, dock backgrounds, and pick Froyo, Froyo wide, smoked glass, glass. If you want a custom Dock, you will have to use it from your gallery like normal. If you dont like the text dock icons, you can delete LP from the theme and install it from the market (or go with the one in LTB)
I will be updating the OP with pictures, as well as a zip of signed themed apps that go well with this theme. I recommend ecsneads inverted google+, thebowers twitter, Inverted FB, Inverted dropbox to enhance the black and white softness of this theme.
I use Go Keyboard with this theme. I have themed the black theme skin that you can apply to the go keyboard. To enable go keyboard, go to settings/lang and keyboard/check go keyboard...then go into go keyboard settings and theme setting and enable the black theme. I have updated this theme with a more black/gloss bubble keypad.
Installation:
1. THEME, install by flashing through recovery.
2. Signed apps zip, download and extract all the apps to your sdcard, install like regular APKs (dont flash this zip)

this is some really good theming.
Just curious, what's the best way to install only some of the theme? Pull it out of the .zip and drop it in the /system/app folder and then change the permissions? Or can I just delete the themed apps that I don't want to install from the .zip and flash it in CWR?
The dialer, for example, looks cool but I absolutely love the default dialer in this ROM. I'm also using ADW EX. Is it as simple as removing LauncherPro and Phone from the .zip and flashing? Or does the script need to be updated?
If the script needs to be changed, no biggie. I'll just google edify scripting (I think that's what CWR uses) and try to teach myself. This theme and ROM are sick enough to make me get off my ass and learn anyways.

This is a patch for the progress bar during downloads, etc. Currently there is a spinner (which I like and will keep it this way on my phone.) However, this should put the progress bars back to the stripped black and gray one.
Please let me know how it turns out...as I wont be flashing it myself cause I like the way it is now. (if you want to go back, I have a flash back to how it was.)

yessir, in my experience...in most cases (not all) AT LEAST these apps have changes made to them.

calendar
and a few others Im forgetting. Typically using any of those apps from a different rom cause quirky things to happy. Not always though. To speed up the port process, I can ask liquid which apps have changed...the rest can just be moved directly into the zip. If a lot has changed, that means porting the individual images from old apps to new apps. That can take at least a couple hours. Its just finding that couple hours in my work schedule. . I should be able to get it done today though.
This theme looks really really good. I might load up ltb to try it.
This is the official ThunderHawk III Theme with or without the latest 9-lock mod from Maddoggin fixed and themed. Glass lock screen removed for your safety now! More info and screenshots later. For those of you already running the brand new ThunderHawk 3.3, you already have exactly this, but now you can add in the lockmod. The two themes are interchange-able, should you decide to switch the lockmod back out.
To Install Your Theme:
They shoullllld flash safely and fully in CWM over any EI22 rom, but let's find out together!
To Customize Your Theme:
If you have installed RandomROM 3.3 or newer, then you have proceeded through all of the instructions to create your options.cfg file. If you have not, then you will need the aforementioned file ONLY if you wish to switch to a simpler power menu or enable scroll-able toggles. This also does not apply to the 9-Lock theme (it's custom enough!).
Download this file and place it on your sdcard under "/clockworkmod/". Now open the .cfg file with a text editor on your phone or a program on your computer such as Notepad++ and change 'yes' to 'no' or vice-versa where applicable. There is no lite/full installation for a theme, but please leave that entry at the top of the file to ensure future RDU installation compatibility.
These two features can be adjusted at any time by simply modifying your options.cfg file and re-flashing your desired theme. Effects will be immediate upon reboot.
Without the requisite file, defaults will be applied instead (adv. power, non-scrollable). A default installation may fail if your sdcard doesn't even have a clockworkmod folder at the root. This means that you've likely never made a nandroid backup through CWM, and I, personally, think you're crazy!

I was just about to say that about the glass lock. I had to restore my back up to fix it. Gonna re flash though. I don't use that one anyway

First of all good work on this and thanks. I am also getting random soft reboots after adding this. I am using the 4 tab lock screen.
Thanks for the theme and the ROM. Is there anyway I can get just the sounds? I really like the sound for audible selection, but sometimes I don't want the full theme. Anyway I can separate out the sound?

Yes it does. It's an optional feature of the theme. I'm sorry, make that themes! I've just uploaded the Scintillating Green alternative version.
I've also updated the OP to show clear directions on just how to initialize the additional features!
I've been running this rom for almost a week and am amazed at the speed, stability and battery life with this rom. Am just about to move my wife's phone to this rom and thinking she might like the new green theme. Are you planning on posting any screen shots of the new green theme?
