Check my sig for the stock TP2 splash (TP2 stuff).
I know that for the HD2 ROMs, NRG started using the Energized image (the one in my sig -- in the HD2 portion) as a bootscreen. I didn't know that the ROMs for other devices does not come with the Energized splash.

i had 2 crashes with my diamnond in 2 weeks now. after i took out the battery because the device was shutdown an power on was not possible, i had at bootup a strange screen!! there is a kind of a white router(looks like "netgear" or "trust") put vertical in a cradle. the backscreen was a bright blue colour. on the top of the screen in red letters was written : nice to see you . what the hank is this? after 5 seconds the screen disappeard and the diamond booted normal.
do i have to worry? the device is hard spl, using the .05 radio and TOR V5 ger
any ideas?
apoo
nice to see you......with a red heart???
this was a old splash screen i think it was the diamond project used on there early diamond roms
hope this helps
if you flash one of the new roms it "should" get rid of it
yes, red hearts nice to see you is white ..
i flashed just alphazero´s TOR v2 and v5 after the original o2 rom...

i can't really help you about that issue, the only thing i can do is point out a little something for you to look up:

or:
this is regarding the universal but maybe it contains helpful ideas, what to check
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=259003&page=3
and just a little bit of my own ideas:
- are you absolutely 100% certain, you are using the gsm model, the blueangel, and not the cdma harrier?
- what rom were you trying to flash, was it a custom made one and did exceed the size limit?
i think these are the most common reasons for being stuck in bootloader besides just bad luck. i feel with you guys, i would be completely helpless in that situation.
Alright, I am sure this is a common question but I did a google (and forum) search for G1 boot screen mod and such but all that came up were people with semi-bricked phones and how to fix it.
So decided to post simple question.
I remember seeing a video of some guy having a different boot screen other then the classic "T-Mobile G1" screen and I was wondering if there is a way to change the boot screen to something more appealing to us AT&T users to something more along the lines of an HTC logo?

just got my x1
i got it because i spilled powerade on my nokia
so i had to go out and get another phone
so far i've flashed about 15 different roms
i love the on screen keyboard with swype and the htc sense
i used the energy cookie reference glass dinik i think and it was perfect
now i'm using something almost the same but its a little bit more customizable
which i like but if i don't touch my phone it freezes and i had to remove the battery and turn it back on.
should i switch to another rom or stay with the cookie reference?
your phone, your usage behavior, your preferences, your decision
My X1 screen has been broken for a while. Can't get past the 'Align Screen' thing when you install a new ROM, but I've found a few ROM's without it. Just don't like them.
Are there more ROMs which don't use the screen alignment?
A bit OT, but anyway:
How would you expect a newly flashed ROM to get the screen settings without aligning it first?
I know, you might argue that the screen has a predefined resolution, but I am pretty sure the alignment was included in the first setup for some reason....
