Over the weekend I first time flashed a customer ROM (Perception 10.2) which had the new Market 2.2.7.
I can no longer purchase apps and bill AT&T. Is this normal when using custom ROMs? Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks,

I've heard of some folks with this problem resolving it bu using Android ID Changer, but to do that, you need to know your Android ID in the first place. Seeing what it is requires a flash back to stock and running an app such as Android ID Changer to show you the info.

Yes.. the custom ROM changed your Android ID. You can change it from the build.prop I believe

I'm thinking of purchasing Premium but I have a question about it. I know CM roms come with it built in, is there any way I can make that premium or do I have to download it? I just don't want to ROM Managers and also, I don't want when I upgrade to have to reinstall it or something.
Thanks for your answers.
if you want to buy the premium just buy it. you can download it again from the market assuming you are using the same account after you load up cyanogen. it will just replace the one that is included in CM. it is just like updating an app. and if it doesn't replace it, just uninstall the non-paid one.
can i ask what feature the paid version has that you are considering purchasing it? or is it just more of a donation thing?

The premium version in the app store is just the license. When you download the premium version it will update your existing ROM Manager and the duplicate icon will be removed from your app drawer the next time your launcher restarts. Those who don't have a ROM that ships with ROM Manager have to download the free version in addition to the license from the market [I'm assuming it just adds a file with an identification code to your SD Card which is then verified by ROM manager when it starts.]
I recently upgraded to Premium and it's well worth it, you won't be disappointed.

I like donating to those who take their time to make good things. I will be donating to Cyanogen as well. I also like the update features of the ROM Manager, and the nightlies download as well, you know?

Thank you for your kind reply, that is what I wanted to verify.
Has anyone else noticed this? When I installed Froyo Build FRG01B half the apps I use aren't in the marketplace anymore? This happened to my brothers Eris when any rom other then stop was installed. Any idea how to fix it? I don't want to leave Froyo.

I found a replacement buildprop on the above link to address this, don't know if it works for any rom though.

It's because the "fingerprint" of the OS no longer matches a "known" fingerprint. This is a setting in build.prop, which is usually either fixed by faking a known version or waiting until app devs "whitelist" your fingerprint.

This is the ripped apk from the droid x
I got a dev over in their forum to get it for me but it's unable to install on our aria's
hoping to get it working for us cause that would be awesome
any ideas?
ERROR: Application requires API version 8. Device API version is 7 (Android 2.1-update1) looks like you will have to test drive the new froyo for aria if you want to test this unless there is a way to update api on the android, and i doubt it.

Is it? I just searched for Blockbuster, didn't find it.
It was published to the Android Market by Blockbuster on accident, apparently it has to be optimized for each device so they pulled it. I installed it but I haven't tried it at all.

I couldn't find it in the market either. Thanks for this.
its keeps on getting pulled and added, to and from, the market, right now its gone and i really needed to change my id back after flashing. Thanks!
I find it in the market but it says it is not compatible with my phone.
I have Mosaic IX, Firmware 2.3.6. Should I avoid this app? If so, what should I use to change it?
Thanks needed that
U do know why Unique ID is needed, right?
I prefer not having Unique ID and hiding in a crowd of ppl.
Think I could use this to get my account back on Instagram?
Hi,
i am perfectly fine with stock ROM and only one thing i would like to have beside. And it is Google phone app with capability to do search nearby places right from the phone app and the capability to see who actually calling behind unknown number.
I see some apks on apkmirror, but latest nonnexus apk is from 2016. So i rather ask here first. Do you guys tried this app and can confirm it has all the features i would like to have? Is it possible to have this app on our phone?
Do you have link to app for our device?
Thank you

I pulled this from OpenGapps. Flash the following Google dialer framework in TWRP and install it from the playstore... All the features work for me.

Possible operator error. Also, this isn't designed for Oreo to begin with.

How is it possible user error if it wasn't designed for Oreo? you never mentioned what os it was meant for. In any case, it did not, in fact, work for Oreo. However I did successfully use it for 7. Thanks for your work.

At first, I was saying it's an operator error because it does work. Of course it doesn't work for Oreo it clearly states the date when I pulled the framework in May. The OP was asking to use an updated dialer in stock. I provided him the framework with the ability to do so.... I wouldn't specify why because I was answering the OP.

same procedure as non rooted devices, Install as normal apk
I can confirm that it works on Moto G5 Plus (Sanders), stock rom, rooted with Magisk. Installed the dialer framework from the post by @atrac17 above, then phone apk (v.11) from here. (Play Market installation was still showing as unavailable for my device.) Then all I needed to do was to change the default phone app to google phone rather than Moto. Thanks for your help, guys. Couldn't figure it out by myself.
So freaking annoying we have to do this!.. Why on earth do we need Moto's dialer?!
