[Q] ZeroGingerMIUI V2 - problem with wallpaper on single desktop - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I have a problem with setting the wallpaper on a single desktop.
When I set the wallpaper on a single desktop, you can see only one half of it. The wallpaper's remaining part is beyond the desktop.
When I set the wallpaper in the gallery do not have to choose between matching wallpaper to one or multiple desktops.
I noticed that the problem concerns only this ROM.
Thank you for Your reply.

I would ask in that roms posts .

[Req] CHT widget addon ( BOLD TITLES )

Hi all,
Now that CHT 2 is out and supports widgets... i know there are lots of devs who will design lots of widgets for CHT.
I proposed a feature a while ago based on the METRO look on Windows Phone 7 for page titles.
Since we can now add widgets i guess someone can design a simple widget editable to type Bold Titles and place them on each page on CHT.
I attached a sample image for what i mean..
since i have no idea on developing such thing, i hope someone will contact me for further discussion .
Also check out this for reference
BIG TITLES for different pages.
It really adds a sweet flavor for each page.

Hi typongtv,
why you post your answer not in the CHT main thread (co0kies home tab). There are the right people to ask for a upcomming feature?
Well, I really got lost, CHT used to be located on another thread , now it's on windows mobile APPS thread...
Anyways i will try there..
thanx for the heads up

[Q] Sense wallpaper fit to screen

Is the a way to make wall papers fit to the screen? Changing the wildfire not the wallpaper?
Ive tried using adw launcher and disabled scrolling wallpaper, however when i select an images for the wallpaper it gets slightly distorted, like its being put across the 7 sense screens. Is there a way to stop this?
Nb. This is My first post regarding my new Htc wildfire, I've search for an answer to this but couldn't find one. A quick thankyou to all those devs working with this device.
I do not know exactly what you mean, but I would recommend the app: Wallpaper set and save. If you have a picture or a wallpaper you have downloaded, just open the app, choose what wallpaper you want, and BAAM great quality. Not compressed or anything like when you use the one in the ROM.
This has nothing to do with development.
Images need to be in 480x320, but being so hard to look around in the BIG THREAD NAMED WALLPAPERS FOR WILDFIRE, you needed to open a topic IN THE WRONG AREA!!!

Sorry if I didn't make myself myself clear, ...let me clarify my original post
I'm using adw.launcher and have a single home screen, on a a stock (rooted) rom containing sense.
The physical screen size of the wildfire is 230 x 320.
I'd like to be able to use a image which is 230 x 320, and have it fit to the single home page, without being distorted.
As i said in my original post i've searched for an answer. but i have also looked through the wallpaper threads
I guess something could be done to sense or adw which (not the wall paper) would stop the scrolling and allow image size of 230 x340 applied without distorting. So, I put my question within the dev sub-forum to see if the there was a way to do this...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
all the launchers have the option to turn off wallpaper scrolling.
wallpapers that i use that aren't distorted are usually, 320x480, 480x960.

[Q] Where does honeycomb store the current wallpaper?

I know this question has been asked already, but the suggested locations given for Android 2.x don't appear to be the same in Honeycomb.
I applied the wallpaper directly from within my browser (if I recall) and don't have it stored locally in the Pictures or Downloads directories, so I was hoping somebody would know where android caches it. I've had a look through the file system but I couldn't see anything that stood out.
I also tried an app called "Wallpaper set and save", which I thought was going to come through, but the result looked horrid - I suppose that's something to do with using it on HC.
I'm using a stock UK xoom (unrooted).
Any suggestions welcome.
Same here. Looking for answer, please.

The way that honeycomb applies wallpapers is really wacky. If you have 3.1 you will see guides when you crop using the wallpaper tool. If you do not have 3.1, download one of the templates available in the forums and you will see what is "useable".
problem is that HC stock wallpapers are stored inside in Launcher2.apk.
I've just found the way how to set wallpaper in the best quality, resolution and without distortion/blur
If u use this method u not loose any part of your picture cos there is no crop it just fit the whole picture on full screen
All u need is this app MultiPicture Live Wallpaper and its free
So how to ?
-long press on homescreen
-than go to Wallpaper->Live Wallpaper and select MultiPicture Live Wallpaper
-select Setting and set your folder with your wallpapers
Done
This app actually changing the wallpapers in particular time but u can also sett it to use only one picture if u don't like changing
There is a lot more settings what u can play with if u like
So enjoy
Since this was brought up, where does the 2.x Android versions store the current wallpaper?

The problem is the resolution. A wallpaper needs to be twice as wide as the screen - that way the wallpaper can scroll correctly when you move homepages. Therefore you need to make sure your wallpaper is 1440x1280. If you only every want a single homescreen then take your 720x1280 wallpaper and add 360 pixels of junk on each side so it is the right size.

Question How to add directory to wallpaper browser (One UI 4 "My Wallpapers")

Hey folks,
You would think doing this would be almost a no brainer (and it may very will be, as I think it is a bit of a stretch to call what I use a brain..), but I cannot seem to find a way to add a directory / import a location containing wallpaper collection into the wallpaper switching app included with One UI 4.
I do realize I can use gallery, or photos to apply individual wallpapers but I was more interested in actually importing my wallpapers into the one ui launcher, makes it easier to browse through, choose and then apply a color palate.
Thanks in advance for any advice offered.
