[Q] Do I have a hard SPL? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi,
I got my second-hand HTC diamond touch. I tried to see what type of SPL I have by looking at the boot-loader screen. That is what I see:
---------
red:
DIAM100 MFG 64M
SPL-1.24.Hard
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
green:
PSOC-Diam STAGE-PVT v0x30
blue:
(empty)
White:
Serial
---------
Does that mean I have hard SPL? If so, what kind? Will that allow me to install a new ROM (I am looking to improve the speed of the device)?
Thanks!
Ran

Help! No device ID problem

Help!
I've gotten a diamond that will not let the rom be changed... When trying it says that the device id is wrong... So I booted it up in bootloader to find out which id it has and it just says:
MFG 64M
SPL-1.40.OliNex
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x30
Anyone have some idea how to change the ID so I can install another ROM?
Regards,
Xanh
changes are the rom you are installing hasn;t been "signed" by olinex what rom is it? failing that try thier dev hardspl rather the the hardspl you have installed
when I try to install that one (Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex), it still says that my device id is wrong after uploading to 100%...
After that the spl hasn't been changed in the bootloader screen...??
I wasn't trying to upload anything yet (ROM).. I wanted to sim unlock it, and uploaded the 1.40-OliNex to the phone... that's when everything started.... But my phone never told me it was locked, only no service when putting a sim card in...
When I install the RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition, then I get vertical lines in the screen and it doesn't do anything anymore... so then i can only reset... Or it uploads to 100% and says invalid ID...
Anyone have an idea?
I can remember that my old qtec 2020i had a no-id update utility.. But that doesn't work on the diamond...
there are instructions to flash from bootloader somewhere... try that.
get ur device into Bootloader, then try flashing baisically.
Isn't that what i'm doing when I use diamondcustomruu to flash the device? because it sets it into boot loader and tries to upload.. or is there another way to flash?...
In the device i can see that it is a diam 100, but when i look into bootloader it doesn't say anything about that.. Probably that's why i get the ID error...
Because of this I cannot upload the developers edition spl...
My bootloader is
64M
SPL-1.93.OliNex
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x30
i can't flash rom and spl (olipro-original)
Please help!!!

Have i killed it?

Hello, I need some help, I tried to upgrade to the latest factory rom ( Diamond_MRII_RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE-ME_2.03.456.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.51.25.26_1.09.25.23_Ship.exe ) which I downloaded from the HTC site.
The previous rom on my diamond was the previous factory release. Before that, the phone had originally been given to me by a stupid shop in Greece wearing that hacked Swtos greek version.
I run the setup, the phone restarted, the progress bar went all the way up to 100% and the i got "error 270" the communication has been interrupted.
Now the phone stays in bootloader mode (the red-green-blue-white stripes that's what it is right?) and it displays:
DIAM100 MFG 64m
spl-1.40.OliNex
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x32
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try again
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!

Security Unlocked Rhodium?

Hey,
Just got my rhodium today... It came from a sample batch (some problems with my old Raphael - the distributor offered this free upgrade).
When I load the boot manager it has a big notice "Security Unlocked" on the top. Could someone please explain what it means? Does it mean I can flash any HTC ROMs without needing HardSPL? Or any ROMs at all?
Security unlocking is another level of unlocking for the radio. It allows you to flash radios (you need Hard though) from another device for example.
It also allows plenty of other stuff, but that's all most users take advantage of.
You're lucky, we normally have to wait for Olipro to get this
Dave
I have one like this as well. What exactly will it allow me to do?

it will give you nothing without a HardSPL, but we can safely assume you are also SuperCID (these devices usually come with that feature too, even if the SPL isn't MFG) so you can flash any signed HTC ROMs
RHOD100 MFG 32M SS-BC
0.8.1000
Let me know of this helps you in any way. I have two of them.
I guess it may be a prototype - the rom on it is dated to around March
Pasting for your the bootloader info here:
RHOD100 32M SS-BC
SPL-0.79.0000
MicroP-Rhodium (LED) v7
MicroP-Rhodium (KEY) v4
TURBO HW/TURBO SW
TP MFG DATA
508,518 800,846
792,198 212,194
227,852 Calibrated
Btw - will it need a different HardSPL than standard devices?

Diamond Problem, please help!

Hy,
to all the helpers that post a message to help me.
I have a Touch Diamond (GSM) and it had this configuration:
WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1 PROFESSIONAL
CE OS 5.2.19965 ( BUILD 19965.1.2.3 )
2008
ROM VERSION : 1.93.479.3 WWE
ROM DATE : 07/25/08
RADIO VERSION : 1.00.25.05
PROTOCOL VERSION: 52.29.25.12W
ORIGINAL BOOTLOADER :
DIAM100 MFG 64M
SPL-1.40.OLINEX
MICROP-DIAM (LED) V11
SPOC-DIAM STAGE_PVT V0X30
I flashed 1.93 olinex from pc, and Gen.Y D2 R5.5 WWE-ROM (GSM)from internal
storage , after a few days I started to notice that my battery(1800) won't last more than a day and when I connect to pc using Disk Drive and try to copy a file in the internal storage(4 Gb) I reiceive an error and try again.
So I looked at the bootloader screen and noticed this:
DIAM100 64M (MFG-MISSING)
SPL-1.93 OLINEX
MICROP-DIAM (LED) V11
SPOC-WRONG PLATFORM V0X0 (???)
And from there I tried to change it back to stock - original rom, radio, bootloader, etc
But no effect.
I tried to write even with MTTY- no succes
Changed the Hspl version to:
DIAM100 MFG 64M
SPL-1.30.OLINEX
MICROP-DIAM (LED) V11
SPOC-WRONG PLATFORM V0X0
-(signed, unsigned-and many other hspl sign,unsigned)-no succes
Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix?
Thank you for your time and help.
