[Q] Stock HTC touch Pro2 start menu wm 6.5 - Windows Mobile Themes

Hello I am having a problem with my TP2 (Verizon Stock WM 6.5, Manila 2.119ish)
Never installed any roms, or android things .
I used to have this start menu in sense
This menu >(the-new-start-menu-of-the-touch-pro2)< type in google, website is pocketnow
Now When I press the start button while in htc sense, sense will just restart. also if i press the upper start touch key the same happens.
Does anyone know how to fix this to get back the stock wm 6.5 start menu(the one in the link)
I have a verizon tp2 that is flashed to metro pcs so hard reseting is not an option and i did not back up my phone because i dont think backing will work with a metroflashed phone.
i would like that menu back and not an alternative thank you
please reply with anyhing (Cabs, troubleshoots, reg edits)

Tilt stock WM 6.1 - how to remove 4 tab HTC home?

It's been a few months since I have been to this forum and it looks like there are lots of cool new programs and a new device (the diamond) that has provided some new cabs. I had gotten a lot of great cabs and tips here from last September through Spring but have not really added much to my phone since then. I had Ultimate Launcher with HTC Home as one of the cube faces and I really loved it. Anyway, I recently ruined my Tilt and had it replaced but the new Tilt has windows mobile 6.1 in place of 6.0 and not all of my old cabs/programs work anymore. I'm excited to see what else is out there for 6.1, but in the meantime, I noticed that the stock tilt comes with a version of HTC Home that has 4 of the 5 tabs (it's missing the music tab). I tried to use HTC home customizer but I can't. I can't seem to load a new version of HTC home over it either. I could not find the HTC Home program in the list of removable programs.
Maybe it's time for me to take the leap and move to a flashed ROM but every time I read through the instructions I get a little nervous and decide to wait until I feel like I really know what I am doing.
Anyway, I'd like to remove this stock version of HTC Home and load up a new version of HTC Home and start adding some cool cabs that work with WM6.1 but I can't find any threads addressing this HTC Home issue. Does anyone have any advice?
I too am interested in this if it is possible.
I dont have a working pc at home right now so flashing is not really an option for me.
What version of HTC home are you trying to install. I think there are a few out there. Also what error or msg are you getting when trying to install the faulty htc home plugin?
I successfully installed the new HTC home over the stock one on my AT&T stock ROM 6.1 and nothing broke. it pretty much overwrites the previous one so you don't have any duplicate entries in the remove programs or anything.
i tried to install HTC Home - Schen 2.1 with N2A weatherpatch (UPX compressed). i just realized my mistake was not deselcting it from the home screen before installing the cab. i feel like a jackass. thanks to the people who offered help. by the way is there a newer, better version of HTC home to install?

Rhodium start menu on Topaz?

For those of us who flashed the Topaz rom (for stability and facebook stuff) is there a way of getting the new start menu like the rhodium? Is there a cab or something? If so, please share..
What is the difference between the new start menu and the old programs tab?
from what i know it's related from a file called HTCStartMenu.dll
you might want to start from there....
I really like the idea - clicking on start brings up a full screen menu with 9 program Slots...
much better then the enlarged start menu.
I have a diamond, running Nataly 2.1.1, is there a way to install this? Thanks
PS: have been looking in xbmods topic about the rhodium manilla...but no luck
Any new here?
It would really be great to add the new Rhodium start menu on the touch hd (just as a cabfile, or any other way but flashing the whole PDA)
The new start menu is tightly part of the manila, so dunno is this possible, propably it would require replacing whole topaz manilla with the rhodium one.

WM6.5 vs 6.1 TF2d vs HTC home vs CHome

OK i tried flashing all the different rooms and they all great and unique in their own ways, and i'm sure everyone has different their preferences. I for example dislike manilla very much. I found HTC home vey useful and way more "to the point" and always find myself going back to it. Now with the creation of new rooms with 6.5 i gotta say i like Chome way better than manilla n maybe not as much as htc home. the thing is that i dislike the windows 6.5 start menu comb n miss the windows 6,6.1 menu n programns layout better. Is there a way to have the 6.5 chome with the classic start menu programs so da i can leave htc home in the past and not worry about manilla. Any rooms da have this would be great and if anycooks can make this happen or anyway knows the steps to do it would be great thanks.
Exactly. I think the layout of the programs/settings is 'neat'. But its a little unorganized. But I can live with it.

Yeah, I recommend NRGZ28's EnergyROM 3.0 Phoenix current build 6/5/2009. Of all the 6.5 ROMs out there I have found this one to be one of the most stable, fastest and visually appealing.

As far as I know it's possible to run HTC Home on WM 6.5.
