Hi,
My HTC touch diamond 2 has struck at tri-color and when I tried to upgrade the ROM it is stopping at 16%. I downloaded the rom upgrade software which is compactible to my Czech republic phone and tried all methods but no luck. Can anybody guide me how do i rectify my phone and get it functional?
Please help.
I assume that you pulled the ROM from HTC.com using your S/N?
You can try flashing again, just enter boot loader screen by holding Volume Down as device reboots until you get to the tri-colored screen, once you see USB on the bottom of the tricolored screen you can reinitiate flash from your PC.
If it continues to get stuck, you may want to attempt to flash HSPL and try again.

what is the error code you get in RUU?

As long as its getting into Bootloaders (RGB) nothing to worry.
Most probably you have a weak or dead battery,recharge it fully and flash the official stock rom in Bootloaders,it'll recover back,but if the battery is gonner,get a new battery.

Down load a RUU from the TNT's ROM i think is the better Ruu for wizard but search it men or try the Mun's one!
Hi. Yesterday i installed a new ROM on my touch diamond, after that my touch diamond won't start. And what's weird?? I can go to Bootloader and I can do a hard reset, but i can't connect with PC on bootloader and i can't enter Bootloader with USB Mode...plz help me

LOL. I tried for many times to go to USB Mode Bootloader pushing VOLDOWN+OK+Reset.....when i pushed VolDown and Rest...all done and now i'm flashing my new rom...thanks XDA Forum, Ur the best

you can imitate the way of qemasoft to make your device go to the boot loader, then you flash back to the official ROM that you can get in http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=windows mobile&model=Diamond
Hi everyone.
Ive got a MAJOR Problem here.
My Cell Phone doesnt start at all.
If i put it one the USB Cable it can Start up like 5 Seconds.
Then it Reboots and Reboots again and again by 5 Seconds.
If I Disconnect the Phone from USB screen turns Black Immediately...
I thought it could be the Batterie... but.. it worked just fine yesterday..
(have i Mentioned that this weird Sticker on it turned red..? Some kind of sign saying me it got wet?)
All this started as i got a Coloured screnn with saying ´´Serial´´ @ the bottom of the Screnn... just exact like the Flash Screen
I Flashed the Rom which is on the Internal Storage i put bevor. To bad it aint the Stock ROM!
Then i also tried Hard Reset.
But everytime i boot... i only get as far as 5 Seconds.
Is there any Chance to Flash this Baby with original ROM (Stock ROM, RADIO and SPL)
I want to send that Baby in... but if they find out i Flashed it... i wont get any Warranty... ;(
So PLEASE GIVE ME ANY ADVICES!!!!!
Try to flash with the original ROM. Go to HTC homepage-support, download the ROM and flash. It may help...

You only can Flash if u got a Active Sync connection.
So ... Cell cant boot... i cant flash...

Just go into bootloader mode (you have Hard SPL installed right?) by booting up the phone while holding down the volume down key. Then connect it to the pc with the USB cable and run the CustomRUU to flash another rom. Should work! Else you should try to MTTY (that solves the resetting stuff right?).

Is My Phone bricked HELP
It is stuck in the Start up screen "smart mobility" in the middle of the screen with the rom details at the bottom right. It won't go passed this. I tried to put it in boot loader mode so that I could try and reinstall the Rom but phone doesn't recognize the usb - (at the bottom of the boot loader screen it says serial when unpluged and the USB when connected to PC). Any Ideas Plz I connot live without a phone.
The Rom I was last using was the latest Topix ROM

Did you re-flash the Stock ROM at least once?

Where can I find the blackstone stock rom.
Sorry to be a pest not used the forums for ages
Why can't you try to flash via microSD ?
Put the ROM image in the root folder of the microSD, named exactly BLACIMG.nbh
Then start the Blackstone in bootloader: you will be prompted to start the flash by pressing the power switch.

My phone is in black screen with 4 button blinking. Can't get into Software Update mode. what should I do?
I try to reflash using smarttool but failed the problem remain after i flashed the rom.
I think i will try abd but i don't know what to do, please help me debrick my phone

If you cant get into SW Update mode, your chances to unbrick, are rather small... Did you try to unbrick it with and without battery? If not, give it a shot. ADB probably wont help, since your kernel doesnt seem to be loaded successfully... Which software did you use before the brick and which one and how did you try to flash it?
Yeah i tried with and without the battery and there are no thing change after the flash process. As i remembered that I installed one of Chinese dictionary and the problem orrcured. I don't know how to do now.
I try LG updater but also failed because i'm using cocked Rom.
Please help me.
And your sure, you held Vol+ while plugging in the USB cable? Just to make sure, it isnt just such a small user error...
yeah i did all the right things, this is the first time i get this error for this phone, each time i entered software update mode the screen hasn't show anything just a white death screen.
Did you try R&D Testtool + Workaround? You can find links in my noob how to
