I know they're not exactly stylish or cool, but I was thinking it would be neat to have a fanny pack that would make it easy to carry all my gadgets. I imagine someone has to make them for ereaders. Does anyone know of anything like this?
That would be a huge fanny pack. What makes you want that over a shoulder bag, like a small messenger bag for your gadgets?

A messenger bag I just don't think would be as convenient. Slung over a shoulder isn't as nice, but I might have to look into small messenger bags because of availability.

I was thinking about it... plenty of interesting selection/color combos but while I am not the most style conscious human out there, I do try to maintain some sort of decent business casual look for my 9-5 and I fear this might somewhat clash with it. Any thoughts?

It looks a bit too tactical for my tastes. Then again, that might work with my job in the Air Force.

Maybe if it was in ABU pattern instead of the Army ACU. However, I think according to the AFI we are allowed to wear accessories that are in ACU because it's more common.

Ironic is it...I'm as geeky as a girl can get, and I have the hardest time finding a guy! The vast majority of you just aren't interested in a girl that is smart, makes a good living, would rather spend the day playing with an XBox than going shopping... but isn't drop-dead gorgeous with a sexy, hot body. I seem to generally attract the loser types that are 40 and still living with their parents.

Sad, huh? I work as a freelance programmer (have a popular ecommerce software package that I sell and support), set up my own home network, do a lot of beta testing and reviewing for other people, and so on. Like a fair number of geeks though, I didn't have great social skills growing up, didn't really fit in with girls my age. So always feel like I'm playing catch-up now.
Geez, this wasn't a topic I really expected to get into on here!
Ive recently started to develop a case of yellow fever. That seems to be your best bet if you are looking for nerdy and cute girl. However its a matter of taste, not everyone is into that.
As with all stereotypes, its not true 100% of the time, but its it has been for me so far.
A lot of us geeks got our first real social skills from forums like these.... that's not entirely a good thing, either. lol

You know, that's very true in my case. I've been networking online since the earliest days of the web and even before that on BBS's (anyone remember those?!) I was much more introverted and shy then, these days I am far more confident and articulate in large part due to all the years of throwing myself into the middle of discussions online. And yeah, it's a catch-22 for sure. I do think some guys are intimidated by me, not so much even that I am brainy, but because I do have opinions of my own and will argue for them. Not to the point of being argumentative by any means, and in a real fight I will almost always back down first...but I know I've thrown some guys off because they will make some statement about something political or such, and I'll just come right out with "Oh, I don't agree with that at all." For all that men will talk about wanting someone who is witty and intelligent, etc. I often find that they aren't sure how to handle it when they get it.

dayum homie, if i read what you said correctly, that was wrong yo!
This is an interesting topic to me because I was thinking about this. So what do you think? Is love purely coinsidental? Or is there someone made for you?
Grocery Shopping: Destiny
Has half of the same college courses as you: Coinsidence

Wow, you took the words right out of my mouth.
I wrote this song two hours before we met
I didn't know your name or what you looked like yet
I could have stayed at home and gone to bed
I could have gone to see a film instead
You might have changed your mind and seen your friends
Life could have been very different but then
Something changed
Do you believe that there's someone up above?
And does he have a timetable directing acts of love?
Why did I write this song on that one day?
Why did you touch my hand and softly say
Stop asking questions that don't matter anyway
Just give us a kiss to celebrate here today
Something changed
When we woke up that morning we had no way of knowing
That in a matter of hours we'd change the way we were going
Where would I be now
Where would I be now
If we'd never met?
Would I be singing this song to someone else instead?
I dunno but like you said
Something changed

isn't coincidence a part of destiny in this case?
in other words, if somebody is your destiny, then your ways are made to meet with them sooner or later; can you still differentiate between coincidence and destiny -in love-?

Not lift but push forward while lifting, it will unbalance them and make it easier for you to get them on the ground.
And don't go too low, you'll get a knee in the face.

So this kid pushed me at the weight room today. He's like, my size and another half of me on top. He was in my face but looking down at me. I was trying to stay calm so I did nothing until he pushed me and I pushed him back and then my friend stepped in. It was good bro. He's annoying he wants me to leave the team but I will never do anything to make him happy. I will tackle him tomorrow at practice and show him who I am.

Steve Jobs.
It's funny...If Apple didn't make these products, you'd have a pretty boring blog.
Stop hatin. Just enjoy your phone, and let that be enough to you. I don't like Apple, because they have screwed me personally. But all this "I hate Apple because I have an Android phone" fanboy-ism is just so damn annoying.
That's just my 2ยข
I have to say the iPod Nano in my opinion is a step backward, Multi-touch on a screen that size with my thumbs isn't gunna work so well
It so funny how Steve Jobs stated that people loved buttons on previous iPod shuffle, so Apple brought them back. Few minutes later he announced iPod nano without buttons but with small, nearly unusable touch screen. Plus they also remove camera and somewhat good display.
Apple finally did it. They made iWatch with iPod functionally

I actually also blogged on this the other day. Link here.
I'm no Apple fan either, but it seems I'm no match for your hatred of Apple...
Btw, I'm actually quite impressed with the new Nano. For those who use Nike+, it's perfect.
If you're phone is better, and you know it, shouldn't that be enough?

Yeah, but if you're doing it JUST to fit in, or for the sole reason that you have the competitor's phone, it gets old FAST.
I take it as trying to show off, "Hey, look at my blog, I hate Apple too!"
It's the internet, so do what you want. I just don't see why there needs to be a thread about it.

A coherent translation might be in order.
The TV show was great.
But sheldon cooper is the example of utter insanity caused by his own intelligence.
He is also a physicist ... WTF does being a theoretical physicist have to do with mobile devices?
Unless your using every accelerometer and gravity meter in every interconnected phone on earth to try detect magnetic monocles.
'adness! Complete and utter 'adness!
And my take: Love it, a great show. Too bad it's not on Netflix for streaming.
I think the main attraction of the show is how it takes geeky fun serious, which is what a lot of tech geeks and gadget lovers like. I know it makes me feel good because I can identify with the fun of it...an escape from the painful seriousness of life.

I believe that wouldn't be a techie. A geek is passive and a brainiac....the ones who are smarter than everyone else and egotistical about it. They are highly insecure and hold onto their intelligence like a security blanket. They are also generally squeaky clean. They know very little about courtship and care equally as little about it. A nerd, on the other hand, tends to be just as intelligent but has a social life...romantic type and such. They tend to not be insecure or passive. They tend to be tree huggers and such...caring about the environment.
