during my visit in USA in February 2011, I bought a SGT from Sprint. It doesn't have a SIM card slot and it came with a 16 GB microSD card.
Back in Germany, I rooted it - success. Then I tried to flash it with an unbranded rom. I used Oddin an Win 7. After some tries and errors now the SGT does not react on anything anymore!
Battery must be full. Pressing any button or combinations does not result in a reaction anymore.
Who can help me please?

I'm having an International P1000 that came unlockled with the following details.
PDA: P1000JVJM5
PHONE: P1000JXJM2
CSC: P1000OJVJM5
But every time I put in a sim card, it will reboot because it has detected a sim card. Then after starting up again it tells me that there is "No SIM card in device". I've tried it with 6 different sim cards, from different providers and even from a different country. All with the same result.
*#7465625# Tells me that all the locks are OFF.
Does anybody have any idea what could be the problem?
have u inserted the sim card fully and close off the simcard bay?
Or try shutting down completely and insert the sim card then power on?
If you have, sorry I have no Idea what could be wrong (hardware defect maybe?)
You would have to bring it back for warranty.
UNIQUE .. may you take ur tab to the samsung service center , maybe its hardware issue ..
can i ask u rude question based on how long you used the tab ( did u put the simcard correctly ? ? ? pls check .. another thing ,, if u bought the tab now , so u better go and replace it

Are you sure the tab is unlocked??
Try unlock it first.
That's my personal opinion.

I just got myself into a messy situation after flashing my Korean SHW-M110S into GT-I9000 Firmware through Odin, and my SIM card doesnt work "Insert SIM card to access network services", My phone had Korean firmware and I Flashed Gingerbread onto it (meant for I9000) I got surprised to see No network and the home key wasn't working at all, then I got messed up with the pit files and the PDA. and my phone dint turn on at all not even in download mode and recovery mode either.
(the service center also refused to help since they don't support goods purchased outside the country.)
I got help from a local phone repairing ppl actually turned it on by resetting it (not sure they said it was in DEV mode, IS THAT DOWNLOAD MODE )
How can I get rid of this situation if persists ??
Now I have got ECLAR build installed by them happy to see the home key working but still he was not able to fix the Insert SIM card problem,
Any help would be appreciated !!!

Hello guys, i'm new in this forum.
I've recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note, factory unlocked. It came with the 2.3.6 version of android and it worked perfectly. But today, i've upgraded it to ICS by KIES (i'm a mac user) and it doesn't recognize my sim card (It says emergency calls only). The phone isn't blocked and it works perfectly, except from that.
I've tried factory resets and everything, and it doesn't work.
Then, i've downgraded it to 2.3.6 again and guest what: IT WORKS!
But then, i upgrade it again to ICS and it doesn't work again. It's not a sim card problem, i've tried another ones and they don't work neither.
Please help me asap, i'm in 2.3.6 now because that's the only way to call in my phone...

There are some threads abt sim unlock in "general" section if I am not wrong..just go through it & u should be able to make your sim work on ICS..

lol, when you boot in ICS do you get the sim pin unlock screen?
cause if you dont there is a fix for that which has nothing to with being locked.

I have a strange behavior with one Galaxy S1.
I bought a used S1 on eBay and flashed Darky Rom V11 Black Edition on it. After that I gave the phone to a friend. He inserted his SIM Card (Provider Blau.de). But the phone can't connect to the mobile network. So i inserted my SIM card in his phone (Provider Telekom.de) and it work.
So i put his SIM Card into my phone (also an S1 with Darky Rom V11 Black Edition) and it work too.
So I'm a little bit confused.
I flashed several other roms on his phone like DarkyRom Resurrection and Cyanogenmod 9.0 stable but nothing helped.
So all facts in short again.
2 Simcards A and B
And two Galaxy S1 with identically software (Darky Rom V11) 1 and 2
Simcard A in Phone 1 didn’t work.
Simcard B in Phone 2 work.
Simcard A in Phone 2 work.
Simcard B in Phone 1 work.
Does anyone have an idea whats wrong?

I will try stay on stock tomorrow. I tried the Unlocker with the nv_data.bin of the phone. It tells me that it can't find any VIDEOcard and ask me If i want that it patch the file directly. I clicked yes and it wrote a new file. But when I use Winmerge to see the differences between the two files there aren't any.
Have the same problem with my sgs1 .
Replaced my antenna went back to stock.
Flashed new modems.
Still ****ty connection

3 days ago I bought in Hong Kong a new Samsung Galaxy Note 5, model N920R4, I think US Cellular. The Phone worked correctly with all the Sim Cards, but now, after a Soft Brick and a new Flash with Odin of a R4 Rom, the phone don't take the signal. He ask me to put the Pin Code but after that No Network
In the First Start, after a Flash with Odin, in the windows "Activate Device" I see a message... "Unsupported Sim card" . Maybe was Unlocked and with a new Flash I relock the Sim Card?
I tried with Chinese Sim card and Italian, the both worked correctly before. I'm sure that is not an HW issue.....but how I can fix?

Ok, I think that my phone is not Locked. But there is somethings that don't allow it to have service. In the menu setting I can select LTE/GSM network but don't work. My MSL/SPC is 000000.... Can be this the problem?
