Can't download from market?

I have a rooted captivate with stock everything still. Didn't remove anything just rooted it and after a couple weeks for some reason I can no longer dl from the market. Password is correct and logs in fine. Please help?

Are you getting stuck on "preparing to download" (or maybe it's called "initializing download")? I had that problem a couple of weeks ago. Logging into Google Talk fixed it for me.

Yeah its usually 'starting download.' Ill give that a try.

Thriller ROM issue

Does anyone else have an issue with random phone restarts?

None here. I have been runnig this ROM for close to a week now and have not see anything like that. Have you tried to contact the Dev for the ROM? Thats where I would start.

Days on with no reboots here

Same here, no reboot problems.
Altho I do have a oroblem when I receive mms pics, they appear as if they were videos. The pic is there but you can't zoom in on it and you can see the movie player control at the bottom. It's if it was a short 5s video with only 1frame. Quite annoying....
Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Same usurious as the infuse. Only way I know around it is to save pic and view through gallery

It's like that on a lot of Android phones. You need to save the attached picture and then look at it in your gallery.

Thats not a bug or anything, it is how a lot of mms works. It isn't a video it is a slideshow with only one pic...

Well it doesn't do that on my wife's Inspire or my old iPhone 3GS. That kind of stupid. But hopefully LG will improve their UI for GB or ICS.

Yeah, LG needs to step up their game in UI. Their music player is great, but a few tweaks here and there could make all the difference.

I have been using this ROM for about a day and no issues yet.

Strange problem with the youtube app

Have deleted the catch in the yt app also from the media service. Installed the yt app again from the store also installed adobe flash again, noting works. I can't watch a video if I use the app also can't watch them when using the mobile version in the browser, but if I use the desktop view on the phone I can watch the yt video also works when it's embedded in a site. The MyVideo app for example is working just fine. Do I missed something? Really have no clue what's causing this.
Any hints are much appreciated :fingers-crossed:

I have Semaphore 2.9.5s + patch and bigmem not enabled, but never had problems. Always use the latest Semaphore kernel and CM10.1 It happened a few builds before, think it's 4 weeks ago the yt app was working, then I didn't used it maybe for two weeks on the phone and the next time I touch it, it's not working. I don't have a fc, I only get the info there is a problem playing the video, but as it is working on the phone using the desktop view in the browser I'm a bit lost why it works the one way but not the other.

I had a similar problem with HellyBean a few months ago and the only solution i found was to flash another kernel.

I've thought about going back to GB and flash it all again, but I'm not in the mood at the mo doing it. Don't really need yt as I don't use it often, and with my 2,5 year old battery I would be without power in at least 45 minutes
Still can use the desktop view if needed, so I will stay for now with these wired issue.

This is already known for quite some weeks.

PNF won't fix things like people trying to initiate a video chat via Tango, or ADM/Cerberus/Lookout unable to track phone unless screen is on.

Whats with the EXTREME lag in the gallery.

I've notice every time I open my gallery to view my photos, things slow down... A lot. Especially when I go to share the photo. Has any one else been experiencing this? I really hoping this is just a software bug and I'm not the only experiencing it.

I have noticed that everytime I try to share a photo with my wife via text I always have to send it twice. Data issue or phone issue?

Turn off Picasa, Facebook pic anything that related to sync, turn them off. Your gallery will be faster . Mine is pretty darn fast loading.
When I try to send mms with pic, it only take about a second or 2 to load, not much lag. About 100 something pics on SD. Not whole lot of that makes any difference.

Contributing that I actually do not have any lag here when opening. viewing. photos. Im loaded with Picasa. Google+ and fb fotos.
