I cant even turn it on. Every blue tooth setting is just greyed out. Any idea on what is going on with this tablet? I'm running the EB28 build.

Has anyone else had issues with wifi not staying off? I normally turn wifi off when I leave the house to go to work. But when I get to work I will notice when I unlock my phone that I have a pop up asking me if I want to connect to the office wifi network. I go into setting and wifi has spontaneously turned itself on. I will turn it off again but the same thing usually happens the next time I unlock my phone and open the browser. Then just now, I unlocked the phone and opened the browser and the wifi network notification popped up again, but this time I went into settings and and it says the wifi is still off. I am starting to wonder if my D4 is just screwing with me now for the fun of it. Anyone else had any issues like this?

Do you use the smart actions on the phone?
I looked into setting them up at one time and got a warning saying some of the functionality of that app required wifi being on.

That's actually a setting on the phone, where it will ask you if you would like to connect to wifi anytime an application requires a data connection. It's just to prevent you from going over your data plan. Go to your Wi-Fi settings and uncheck the "Notify Me" option under Wi-Fi autostart reminders.

I haven't messed with Smart Actions yet. Might have to look at that though.

I unchecked the notify me box. Hopefully that fixes it. Thanks!

You're welcome. Same problem was irritating me too!
I've checked the other threads and tried their solutions to no avail.
My wifi constantly turns itself on. I have a Verizon s4, rooted and bootloader unlocked. I have the auto update frozen, etc.
I'm messing with a lot of things but nothing seems to stop the wifi from turning on. My paranoid theory is Verizon is trying to force an update but can't.
I plan to try a rom when I figure out how to do it. (most instructions aren't complete, or are in YouTube format. I'm deaf, so YouTube is out unless it has subtitles.)
But until I do figure out how to do a rom, please help me track down why my phone refuses to leave wifi off.
Check and see if you have AT&T Smart WIFI enabled. I'll turn that app on and forget about it and when I turn WIFI off manually, it'll come right back on.

Hi -
My wifi at home is being displayed, but it is always stuck at Connecting... How do I fix this?
SO here's what happened - I accidentally turned off the wifi router at my home and then turned it back on again. After that, the phone simply refuses to connect to it. I'm able to see that the wifi is available, but upon trying to connect to it a million times, it simply goes from Authentication --> connecting --> saved. This keeps repeating. I've had the same results for the stock, Pure Shamu and Minimus. My nexus 5 running minimus and my Gnex running 4.4.4 PA have absolutely no issues, so it's got nothing to do with the router itself.
I rolled back to my previous backup of the stock rom and wifi mysteriously started working. Out of curiosity, I turned off the router again just to see if it happens again, and it did. Is this an actual bug floating around? Or is something messed up with my phone?
Also, how the heck do I disable the "Avoid poor internet connection" option? I find it nowhere!
Curious if anyone else has this problem - 32gb GS6 w/ T-Mobile. Two or three times a day, wifi will turn on and stay on of its own accord. I have location services using wifi enabled, but this is obviously not supposed to leave wifi on and connect to networks, so if that's the problem it's clearly a bug. I can't imagine what else would be causing this and don't see many other people posting about it, so maybe my phone is the problem?
Go to advanced settings and turn off auto connect and always scanning. Advanced settings in WiFi settings.
My Gear Live auto-turns off WIFI when I turn off bluetooth on my phone. Does anyone experience this? When I select "Re-enable WIFI" the WIFI turns on, but auto turns off again. No WIFI problems when I turn on both bluetooth and wifi on my phone.
Edit: I discovered restarting the watch is the only way to keep WIFI connected when this happens. Touching "Re-enable WIFI" does nothing.

Honestly this is the first time I see this option screen. And I use wifi quite often. Try resetting your watch and see if that helps.
