[Solved] No Signal after rooting milestone (Telus Canada) - Motorola Droid and Milestone General

Hey, Sorry, I'm kind of new to all this so maybe I just did something stupid?
I followed these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932196 and used the telus canada file listed. I used RSDlite 4.6 if that makes a difference. and used the rom at first link on: http://androidforums.com/motorola-m...date-milestone-android-2-3-3-instruction.html
which is CyanogenMod-7.0.0-RC3-0.07-11.03.09-Milestone
now its on 2.3.3 and everything works great including gps camera wifi etc... I just cant get a 3g or 2g signal. Sometimes it will say emergency mode but then switch back to no signal shortly after. I was running the ota froyo update by telus before I decided to do all this but it was runing reallly slow and laggy and had random reboots a couple times a day thus me switching.
How do I fix this? does anyone know?
thanks!!

You have to flash the telus baseband for 3g to work. Try flashing telus baseband files from AOR.

[Q] Cyanogenmod saying unknown baseband ?

Can someone please help me. I recently installed cyanogenmod on my thrill and when i use the p925 version it tells me the baseband is an "unknown version" therefore i have no mobile data (wifi works) also when i install the p920 (O3D) version i have the v20p baseband but data only works when i turn on international roaming. Can someone help me find out how to fix at least one of these problems.

Ahh.
If you are on V20P, I believe CyanogenMod flashes it's own kernel. You'll have to get off V20P since it doesn't allow for any other kernel to work.

try a newest nighty for the p920 with the v20p baseband. Support was added when the kernel source dropped.

That's the purpose of this version. If you had better service on the previous radio then flash this one. If the issue persists then you're just in a bad area or an area that is being rolled out.

I think that's not the problem
I think that's not the problem, should improve the signal reception, I've tried and I can only call at certain points in the city, out of town does not detect the network.
I tried XXAMg4, XXAMJ1

CyanogenMod Mobile Connection

So I am pretty new to CyanogenMod and haven't flashed or rooted a phone since the EVO 3D. So I flashed the latest nightly version and everything went fine besides not being able to get a mobile connection on my phone. I can make calls and send text but any app that needs 3g to refresh doesn't work unless I am on wi-fi. I was wondering if someone could direct me to the latest version that still has 3g connectivity im getting really frustrated. BTW I am on Sprint. Appreciate all your help.
Thanks for your time,
Tim
Try 2/28 or older to be safe. There was a major ril change in the past few days that has caused some issues such as no data. That all should be sorted out soon if it's not already but 2/28 was before it so it should be fine. I don't have Sprint to verify but I think this will help.

Flashed it and still no mobile connections. not even calls or anything anymore. I tried to install Viper earlier to see if that fixed it and I think it messed it up even more. I used GURU reset method " http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/stock-rom-downloads/ " and touch didnt work but I could still see there was no mobile connection. Am I missing something?? Idc what I have to do I just need my phone to work again for calls and text at this point. Thanks for your help and advice
