[Q]AllShare for GB - Captivate Themes and Apps

Does anyone have an apk for AllShare (dlna.apk) that will work on 2.3.x? Maybe from a Galaxy S II or something?

i would also like to know where i can get allshare for my gb rom

I installed G-12 rom yesterday, now I need AllShare software. Help please.

Continuum v5.4.1 (GB rom based on JVH) has dnla.apk

actually, I tried iMediaShare and it works pretty well. But, I will attempt to get that apk soon and test it out.

Than use one of the ROMs here.
It is working for me i9000 europe version, most likely u getting force close cause u didn't enabled usb debugging....this mod worked for me on both 2.1 and 2.2, tested on jm8 and every single froyo build...in fact I'm using it right now on jm8.

didn't work for me either with JPK and usb-debugging enabled and even connected ... just fc's at every subtheme -> no changes
Everyone look for ClearBar theme at the Galaxy S sub-forum in the CyanogenMod forums.
I have SGS JPK and I install this manually with new icons dumped from Desire HD. Works great

[REQ][Q]Droid X Gingerbread Keyboard

Hey, I was wondering if someone can turn the Droid X Keyboard from the leaked Droid X Gingerbread ROM into an installable APK that works with Gingerbread. I already tried multiple ways to install the APK's designed for 2.2 and 2.1 but none work on Gingerbread, so I decided to find the leak and take out the APK from that.
EDIT: The post at the bottom of the link below has a download that contains both the ODEX and the APK for the Native DroidX 2 keyboard

My apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I think requests for apps go here as well

Alright sounds good I can't upload the APK and ODEX because they are too big, even when zipped, so the link below goes to a thread that has both those files in a download link at the bottom of the thread.

I really like the keyboard though. It's great on the DX. There's more button space on it, compared to the stock Gingerbread KB.

Anyone had it working on a froyo custom rom? like cognition 4.1?
Okay so the apk from the second post link works. It downloads the upgrade and installs the working one. I personally have never gotten it to work on froyo using cognition but other roms might work. Including stock froyo

So, I'm new to Galaxy S. Need Help :)

Hi guys,
I own a Galaxy S i9000 mobile.
It's running on :
Android 2.3.3
Baseband : DXJV9
I have not rooted it or did anything till now.
I wanna flash ICS AOKP on my mobile..
I have tried using the search option but still im soo deserted.
Can you guys guide me on how to root, flash CWM recovery, and flash ICS please ?
and Does Galaxy S supports ROM Manager ? coz i've been using Galaxy Ace before and it didn't support it..
Thanks a lot
For Root read this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108
You need to download file ending in JVP. Usually you want the one ending with last 3 digits of your baseband but as there is no JV9 JVP is close enough and is reported as working. Besides it does not really matter as you just need this for root.
Once you have root you can simply follow the guide in the AOKP thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1524108
I know you have stated you want AOKP but if you want a bullet proof simple way to get this all done start with this thread for Team ICSSGS.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494493
I usually like to make sure I have all necessary files, roms & programmes before starting so if anything goes wrong I can get my phone working again. This tutorial will help you with that also.
After following all of this you should have a good understanding of what to do and then you can flash AOKP as their instructions are kind of limited.
Also when choosing an ICS Rom this is a great thread with regards to performance.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1554621
AOKP is a wonderful choice.
But if I can give you an advice, wait for the next Milestone which is expected to be released over the next few days

That link for flashing Team ICSSGS has help for everything else. From downloading stock rom to flashing with Odin to flashing ics (in this case team icssgs)
You could potential substitute Team ICSSGS for AOKP.

and finally, Which version of the kernel should i use for official AOKP b34? 1.1.0 or 1.1.0s?
Not sure but both should work. 1.0.1s is for slim ics and other roms. If it is not compatible it will break 720 video recording & playback otherwise eveything else should work. There is also a video patch somewhere.

Alright..I've flashed AOKP b34 and Semaphore 1.1.0s
Everything seems to be fine
But now my sdcard is mounted as internal storage and the actual internal storage is mounted as sdcard..is this a bug or what ?
Even when I connect my phone to my PC using USB,only the actual internal storage (which is mounted as SDcard shows up..
I personally haven't 1.1.0 only 1.0.1sbm with slim ics. I think the 1.1.0 is still a test version for cm9 but could be wrong. Things may have updated since i last looked but i recommend reading the semaphore thread and posting there for more help.

Known bug in Semaphore. Make sure you enable the 'Netfilter' module in the app. When it randomly doesn't work, which is the bug, simply check and uncheck it 2 times and it will work.
