So I installed the CyanogenMod-6 on my G1, and when I start the phone, it doesnt give me the "first time start-up" walkthrough, nor can i manually add an account in settings. it gives me a weird "add server info" page i've never seen before.
This also happened with Super-E, so I know it's not the ROM. I can't imagine what I could have done to the phone to make it glitch out like this.
It runs, I just cant add an account, or see certain button presses light up.
I searched through the forums but came across nothing. anyone got an idea?

Just a quick question from me today, I like to use specific Twitter clients nowadays, and I love using TweetDeck on my Mac - however, on my Android [Galaxy S] phone that's currently on Darky's ROM - TweetDeck just doesn't work.
Every single time I open the application it seems to want me to relog back in to my TweetDeck account. I'm getting REALLY annoyed and as such I've swapped over to Seesmic, however, I want to know how to fix it, or if it's unfixable or if anybody's known about this issue or has it, and knows what causes it.
So if anybody has any answers for me it would be MUCH appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have been using this Rom for a while now but I have a couple of niggling issues I hope someone can helpl with.
Gmail constantly pops up with a "gmail has had to close" message, can't open app at all?
Also swype wont work and constantly brings me error messages?
I did this flash around christmas time so I am assuming that my build is possibly not up to date but any assistance would be appreciated. I skimmed through the thread for the rom but can't find any mention of others having this problem and niether seems to be mentioned as a bug fix in any of the newer builds.

I have quiet some time a problem getting notification message in whatsapp and hangouts (even in the previously version on Google talk).
When i clear all apps with Task Manager. Exit to home screen. meaning, Whatsapp is not running in the background, I get no pushed messages, no notifications. Nothing at all.
I then launch the app and get all my "missed" message ,then exit back to the home screen and now I see the messages and notifications.
The same thing happen when the screen is off,actually it seem it start there.
I have no limitation on the background apps,surf only with 3g and it is happen also with hangouts,it is started a few months back before google update her app,in the old Google talk also.
The most strange thing is when i launch a game,because it uses the internet when i exit from it and not clear my task manger it seems like whatsapp and hangout getting the message for day or two and there again nothing,maybe i imagine i really do not know
My phone model is i9305 with official Samsung Nordic Rom.
i used avast anti virus until couple days ago.
By the way whatsapp+ that i saw here recently could help me in any way?

BTW it's also says directly on whatsapp that it will not work well with task managers.

Thank you for your replay,I want to clarify myself and tell you that i do not use any external task manger,but only the built in one in jellybean.
In addition even when i do not "clear" my ram it still no working,i also compare it to others galaxy 3-i9300&i9305 that use and clear the ram with the built in task manager and still not suffer from this Phenomenon.
I guess Samsung keeps this app because it lets inexperienced users(unlike you and myself, or for that matter anyone in XDA ) the feeling that they can upgrade their performance...anyhow - It's strongly suggested that you don't activate\use ANY task killer.
Why not trying the suggested method for a couple of days? I'm sure your results will be much better

Just noticed you asked about the whatsapp+ - it's not supposed to make things any better, only customizations. And you said the problem persists at the new hangouts.
If you're certain that your internet connection(cellular of course) is working good, before I suggest wiping and re-flashing or trying another rom I suggestthat you use the following app(it increases battery usage in a VERY MINOR way):

Well I guess that leaves you with factory reset your phone.
But since your'e not rooted keep in mind you'll lose all your apps..

I installed Ultimatum rom v3 on friends phone and my phone. My phone working great so far, friends phone has developed an issue receiving txt messages few weeks ago and recently fb and fb messenger are now giving "unknown error" messages. I had him install go sms to try get around the text message problem, it seemed to fix it for few minutes then it stopped working also. I only have text contact with my friend so I need some easy to explain tests or fixes to try. Is there any way to "reset" the ROM back to original without reloading the rom? Any way to fix these app errors without too much difficulty? Any advice would be appreciated.
