Hi,
Normaly you can't but there is an invention like "goldcard". It is the only way to install unbranded ROM. I did it and it is quite easy. Try to read about it.

What's tha difference?

How to unbrand TMOUS HTC HD7 ??!

Hi All,
i'm sorry for asking this but i spent already some hours on this forum and I'm completely lost, I have no idea what finally to do to get my mobile phone unbranded and finally use a AZERTY keyboard with a french dictionnary.
My TMOUS has following ROM inside:
OS Version: 7.0.7004.0
Firmware version number: 2250.09.12001.531
Hardware revision number: 0002
Radio software version: 5.51.09.11a_22.31.50.09U
Radio hardware version: A.12.0.D4
Bootloader version: 1.20.2250.0(111584)
Chip SOC version: 2.2.5.0
I understood TMOUS was one of the last branded phone to unbrand. Please advise which tutorial to use, considering i do not want to use a goldcard.
I have already unbrand many HTC phones in the past, by SUPERCID the SPL and then flashing the phone, but it seems to be more tricky this time.
Thanks a lot for your advices !!
I want the same, but the only way I found was the goldcard method...
No one ?
Please reply and let me thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

Since the at&t version just came out, you are probably gonna have to flash an unbranded rom or wait until one for at&t is made

HD7 Mango, What works with what?

I thought i'd start a thread for people to compare what works with which ROM / network.
Originally my handset was an O2 UK model and I de branded it with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255275
I have the following in my about screen:
OS version 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number 2250.21.40502.401
Hardware revision number 0002
Radio software version 5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21U
Radio hardware version A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version 4.5.2250.0(129185)
Chip soc version 2.2.5.0
Current sim is Vodafone UK (have also tested O2 UK)
I have no visual voicemail settings.
No internet sharing (yet).
No HTC compass.
Might be interesting to see other peoples results?

HTC compass is still available in the market to download although you don't see it under HTC HUB
No Visual voicemail (may cause I dont have any voicemail )
Internet sharing is supposed to be carrier dependent so I dont have it
