A small question. Are the firmwares leaked onto the net (JVQ etc) finished firmwares released by Samsung for Kies pushing?
I am assuming they are, but different countries and different providers get them but they don't always release them at the same time
JVQ isn't officially released yet.

I'd be very surprised if JVP/JVQ were finished firmwares ready for distribution, given the fair number of bugs they have. Leaked firmwares are probably beta releases, but other 2.3.3 firmwares available from SamFirmware should be finished products.
JVP is buggy? I've been using it for a while now and haven't seen anything odd. Are the bugs very apparent?
There are some bugs with apps force closing (including Phone), the auto brightness not working etc.

Final/official froyo has not been released yet by Samsung. All firmwares including JPK you use are leaked/internal releases.
For firmware differences, you can check other posts around here. In other words use search.
Moved to Q&A as not development

are you sure froyo has been released for your specific phone/carrier? Froyo comes out for different countries at different times, so depending on where you are you might not be at 2.2 yet. When you plug your phone into your computer and connect via kies does it say there is an update available? If not then you are most likely at the latest ROM for your area.
Searched abt this in google.
Froyo Released for india.
When I run firmware update in kies,it shows Firmware details, "upgrade" button is disabled and Text "This firmware can't be installed on your device.

Contact the network or Samsung service centre .
Or take the other route and flash your own firmware .
Read posts first pages general first .
Flashing your own firmware will void your warranty may brick your phone .So as its not your phone i would not .##

Also make sure you are running the latest version of Kies
I will that and tell u.

Flash the official Indian Froyo firmware (DDJP6) yourself using ODIN... There's information about that all over these forums.
I'm currently running a UK Note, non rooted. About a week before the official ICS update was released for UK devices I used Odin to flash the Indian release of the update. I have since downloaded the UK ICS update to my PC but I was wondering if I should bother flashing it. I have no real issues with the version of ICS I'm using so what if any are the benefits of going to the version of the software I'm using compared to the UK official.

Probably won't be much difference at all.

If you have no issue with the current ICS you should not change to the UK version since just as in the second post there will be little difference even if everything goes well.
Hello everyone i have Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 and i update android version from 2.2 to 2.3.3. I want to install 2.2 version because i have troubles with version 2.3.3. I looked on the internet but do not know which version to download.
Umm why would you want to go back to 2.2? Not many apps quite support froyo nowadays. You could go to www.samfirmware.com and find the latest 2.3.6 gb over there. Best one yet is the Hong Kong one.

The smallest problem is the applications on Froyo.Tab works slowly and therefore I want to go back to an older version because less RAM is occupied and tab works better.
In Linux/android, RAM unused is ram wasted.
Not like Windows.

A few days ago he worked with a small deceleration and today is too slow if you can not send me version 2.2. Tell me which version i install that tab will function normally.
The version in my signature. Overcome Series 7.
It is a GB 2.3.6 Samsung based but tweaked to run faster.
Follow the link in my signature and download the guide.

Is there any possibility that I install this rom on version 2.3.3 and what will change as I install it?
You need to completely wipe.
Overcome feels like stock ROM, especially with stock theme patch.
But under the hood it is much more.

How this is used? Flash using CWM Recovery or using something else? thnx
All stock ROMs at samfirmware are to be flashed using Odin by putting the tar.md5 in the PDA field.

Can someone tell where to find leaked firmware for the s3 lte just as for tha normal s3??

Here on xda or Sammobile. Nothing leaked so far. We are in the same boat. I suspect 'Samsung plc' monitors this forum and plays game with us.

why don't you go steal it from samsung and leak it out
I wish we had a leak too. I miss the days of having an original flagship device (i9000) rather than a variant with no leaks.
Seems like sammobile has limited sources, perhaps one leaker (given the region of all its recent leaks - israel was it?). They probably only test i9300 and not i9305.

Why someone would like to have a leaked firmware with something not working like WiFi or Bluetooth? I guess it's always better to wait till the official firmware is rolled out!
In the past I tried some leaks on my Galaxy S2 and many functions not worked probably!
Just wait... we will become 4.2.2 as well...
PS: Sorry about my bad English!

Even if it does not work and it bricks your phone and you have no warranty as its not official firmware .
Leaks are not finished not fully working beta test roms .
