[BOOT ANIMATION] Cylon / KITT Style Scanner

Hey everyone,
First contribution here : a boot screen animation based on KITT's scanner as you will see below.
I made it blue, but I plan on making it red and green as well as soon as possible. I may take requests, provided I have enough time to make them happen.
WARNING : This is for 480x800 phones only!
Click on the thumbnail below to obtain a small animated preview. It looks much, much better running on the phone itself, but I am limited in image size so I can't show it in its full glory.
Don't hesitate to provide remarks/suggestions/insults.

this is my first post here on xda, but i've been lurking for a long time. i really like this bootanimation.
i'd love to see an android in there, but done very subtle. perhaps something near black on black?

Here's a Tink Splash I put together for my wife. Thought I'd share. If anyone would like I also have similar pics of Fawn and Silvermist.
Requirements ADB and S=OFF and ROOT
unzip and flash as you would any other Splash, if you don't know how see the following link [Mod][HOWTO] Splash Image

I could mod it for the G2. Just let me know what to put at the top (if anything) and image size, if it's the same size as the MT4G I have one made already for when I give mine to my wife.

No problem man. I'm doing something similar with my red slide. If my daughter makes A-B Honor roll, she gets my slide completely themed out in pink and purple minus the dialer and messaging .apks (don't see the need for an 8 yr old have a full phone) to replace her current "Android Touch" (a Behold2)

I got an Ellipsis 7 tablet for my 4 year old for Christmas and she is in to tinkerbell. I know how to run boot animations, but I haven't learned how to make my own custom animations. Could you help me out?

I'm looking for a custom made one, not just color swapping. That's what the money is for. It's too easy to run a batch operation through photoshop to just change colors...

Take the "DROID" from the beginning and make it "VITODROID" in the same font with the same formation (How it comes into the picture) and the same glow over after its formed.
Then instead of it disappearing before the Droid Eye comes up, make some sort of robotic arm push it up closer to the top (so the eye doesnt overlap it) and leave it up there throughout the eye animation (leave it in the loop part). Also instead of it just sitting there as a plain "VITODROID", have the light continuously flash over it (kind of like it does for the start of the eye animation)

Nexus 5 Boot Animation - Observation about color order

*I better put this at the top*
This is a just an observation. I am not knocking Google nor am I complaining in any way.
Let me reiterate; it is just an observation.
I am in the process of "trying" to make my own custom boot animation for my Nexus 5 and was thinking of trying to get the boot animation colors to merges into the X of the Nexus 5 logo before it fades in and then play with some other ideas.
In doing so I realized that in the Nexus 5 boot animation, the yellow and green are reversed in relation to the Nexus 5 logo.
On the Nexus 5 logo, from the top left and clockwise, it is: blue, red, green, yellow.
In the boot animation the colors are in the order: blue, red, yellow, green.

People have constantly done it differently for the "X" logo I'm not even sure what the real order is :angel:
