There is a lot of info there, also you can try with Super One Click too, I made it with BlackJack

If you want to get gingerbread you have to use smartflash with rom pack. all in guide maybe first stock 2. 3. 4 with root.
In this time you have upgrade and root .

How I can root it?... I've tried with Unlock Root and Gingerbreak, but both faild...
I'm beginner in this... can somebody explain to me how I can root my phone?

it's funny to see how much some people are blind. right in that forum, there is a particular pinned thread....

Try SmartFlash tool
It does take a little work but I found that using the SmartFlash tool worked very well for me.
My Optimus Black is now rooted on 2.3.4 v20i.
I can't post a direct link to the instructions I used as I'm a noob here and this is just my first post, but if you search for "Root LG P970 with Smart Flash Tool" you'll find the instructions and links you need to do it right.
