hey guys, I am always looking for great apps and stuff for my phone, but a ton of the best ones are always on sharecash.org, and you have no complete a survey in order to unlock the download. the download link never unlocks because even when you complete a survey it says that you havent completed it. i have tried everything i can, i have looked at the page source code to see if i could find a hidden download link somewhere, but i didnt find anything. so i was wondering if there was any way to hack or glitch the website to unlock the download. thanks

i bought 8925 from ebay and got the correct unlocking code but can not input the code becaused hang up in pleased wait mode for almost 7 days it ....is there a solution for this problem .....

The link above is for hard spls...which you will get if you follow the threads I posted but you don't do that first or you won't be able to unlock the phone.

This process is to get unlocking code ....code is already on hand but can not input ..bec its been try how many times ...and lock up in pleased wait mode....

I think what parleyp is trying to say is that wherever you got (bought?) your unlock code from, you don't necessarily need it. If you follow the links in his post there is a free method to unlock without a code - this is also permanent unlike the some unlock codes which you buy.
If your phone still hangs then I'd suggest a hard reset and then try parleyps links to unlock, then WillardZ link to hardSPL your phone - after this you are safe to try any roms and use any carrier.

This is exactly what I am suggesting. Don't sweat it. Waiting for 7 days means it didn't work. Follow the steps above and do it for free and now. Just follow all the directions carefully.

Hey everyone,
I have been trying to unlock my Captivate. It is firmware 2.2 and build number FROYO.UCJI6. I have tried the unlock on the android market and I tried the new way for 2.2 but I found it to be confusing and wasn't even able to complete teh adb pull part to get teh nv_data.bin file. Is there any online video tutorial for it? Or is there an online unlocker for liek 10 bucks who can unlock my phone using imei number or something?

You'll have to pay for it online unless you have a backup of your original stock. There are many sites online to do it, someone else may recommend one.
yep I am willing to pay to get it unlocked I just need a site that will be able to get the unlock code for the 2.2 version. this phone was bought straight from at&T and came with 2.2. I am trying to get it working in Canada on the telus network
i get to the point in adb where you type in adb pull /efs/nv_data.bin and it gives a bunch of information. but i dont know where the file you are supposed to upload to the Samsung Galaxy Unlocker site

firstly i understand that everyone is quite picky about using the search function to first find relevant posts. However i have gone through an immense amount of posts and still am unable to unlock my SGS.
I have the UK version
Samsung galaxy s i9000
locked to orange
i tried unlocking using the tool from:

Also as i couldn't get this to work i purchased unlock code from eBay for 15 euros however they also refunded saying they couldn't find the unlock code.
I can't access the android market to install the 'pro app' because i don't have an orange sim card.

I've done some searching myself, not so long ago, and apparently you need to flash your Galaxy S back to the stock rom it shipped with before using that tool!
I can't confirm it though, didn't try it myself.
Or try using Market Enabler to fake the identity of your phone to the market so you can access all the apps in the Market. There's a free app called Galaxy_S Unlock that I and some people had success with, read it's description first though and just do the steps in order.

I really need some serious help, My phone battery died earlier on today and after I charged it again Android would not decrypt my phone as it says my password is incorrect.
I know for a fact that it is the correct password as I had saved it in my Password manager and have used it many times before.
I found Frost(Forensic Recovery Of Scrambled Telephones) and have seen that there is an option to decrypt the phone. But I really need some help to get it working on a HTC one.
I really need some data of my phone, and cannot factory reset it yet.

But I can only see a Galaxy Nexus version. Has anybody got a version I can use for the HTC one so I could possibly recover some of the most important files?
