[Request][DEV] Backlight buttons turn on when receiving sms, email, uncoming calls - Desire HD Themes and Apps

Hi,
I installed Cyanogenmod in my sister's samsung galaxy s device and there is a useful feature, backlight buttons (home, menu) turn on when the phone received message, email or an uncoming call.
This message is for devs. Is it possible to include this feature in Tweaks of Sense ROMs ?

Vibration question

Is there a way to make the N1 vibrate for everything; ringer, SMS, email ...everything? I have vibrate set to always in the sound options.
Thanks for any info. Tried to search but from the xda app you don't get easy results that way.
Yes... go into the application and under notification select vibrate.
So each app acts independently..
Thank you!

Thank you for this info! I was searching for it too. My phone didn't vibrate for text messages since the update to Froyo..
Thanks!

Wake on SMS Receipt

This question is quick, and it's strange that I haven't found an answer to it in my searches, but anyways:
How can I make my screen turn on, instead of just buttons (In Assonance ROM 5.2) when I receive a text message?
Regards
Smith
I don't use stock messaging stoop but it seems like I have read about people using an app called sms popup to activate screen when a text comes in....assuming of course you just want it to come on for a brief time.
3rd party messaging apps like handcent have this built in.

all i can find is handcent language packs, but anyway, why do i need an app for my phone to vibrate
The app is an alternative for the stock messaging app and it has its own vibrate settings.
The app's full name is "Handcent SMS"

This was also driving me nuts. Until just now since I finally figured it out. You just need to open up the messaging app itself, hit the menu button, and click on messages settings. Make sure the vibrate option is clicked and voila, we have vibrate.
This is different from the notification vibrate in the regular settings menu.

Just as Duffey1 said its a separate setting in the app itself. If you want more control such as the vibrate pattern then you will have to install another app from the market or rom such as liberty3 that has this built into the SMS app.

i think my problem was different, because i did check the settings in the messaging app itself also the one in sound settings and even though it was enabled , it still wasn't working, i did end up fixing it though, i downloaded an app called sound manager and enable vibration in there and now even after uninstalling sound manager, my sms vibration still works
i actually had this happen to me twice, both times when switching ROMs, and both times sound manager fixed the problem

Notifications repeating reminder

Ive had my HTC one for a week or so now and am loving it, there is one thing that this phone cant seem to do and that is repeat a missed call, sms or third party (such as whatsapp) notification. My previous device, a GS2 could do this with apps such a NoLed, Reminder Pro, light flow.
I know we have the notification LED but it is no help when the phone is in your pocket or in another room, what I like is a reminder tone and a buzz set to repeat every 5 minutes or so.
So ive tried many apps whos purpose is to do this and none of them seem to work, Light flow is the most succesful so far but it has a flaw in that it will set the led flashing green continuosly untill you reboot the phone (thats with led disabled within lightflow as it is not suported on HTCs without root)
Reminder Pro just does not do anything, In NoLed the sound and vibrate do not work but the screen flash does.
I have tried a couple of others such as Missed Call Reminder , Missed call/sms alert and Easy Reminder, none of which work with the HTC one
So my question here is has anyone descovered an app that works to give a repeat vibrate and tone for missed notifications of calls sms etc.

Junior, I use your Smart Notify. It's very good but it doesn't notify Whatsapp messeges.
Hi, you must select in Settings/Popup window, then Other applications, enable Accessibility (first item), and then check item WhatsApp

CAN NOT RECEIVE INCOMING MMS on SPRINT SGS

I can send a picture mms but when I receive one it doesn't even show up. On the notification bar yes but it doesn't open at all.
