Droid X theme - need beta testers

This is a new theme that i am working on. It is currently NOT 100% completed BUT it is very usuable ( I use it every day ) .. what i am looking for at this stage is for people to install it and let me know of any issues.
Requirements.

Froyo 2.3.15 (not sure if it works on anything else)

oh yeah... I dont claim that i did ALL the graphics in this, though i did do a LOT, so if you see some of your work I would be happy to credit you. I am not trying to steal your work. Trust me, I know what goes into it.

wow really? almost 300 people have viewed this and no comments? lol... has anyone actually tried it? i'd love to hear your thoughts/views on this.. love/hate it? could be better? i'd change this...that... Come on don't be shy... let me know what you all think.

It looks nice imo. Ill like the color on the battery and keypads and just about everything is black/shiny which is cool. My only problem is the text color, just seems so off the rest of the theme. Maybe do a white text color alt? I think that's really the only thing that is hold me back from using it. Idk if I could stand that text color. (This is just my opinion!)

I don't get it, is it a Droid x theme for Android devices,or a theme specifically for Droid x...? BTW, finally a flashable zip.

OK, overall I think the theme looks pretty good.
I am currently using the REVOlution for the Motorola Droid X theme which is nice, but I like the icons you have (wifi, battery and usb at least) but not a fan of the orange text (even though I like the color orange).
Maybe change that and make the dropdown notification background (that grey color with the android dude) more transparent and I will give it a go.

Just to let you all know this is NOT a ROM. This is just a theme for the DroidX... I have no clue if it will work on anything else. You are free to try, but i wouldn't really advise it. If anyone would like to port it over *and knows how* then please get in touch.

[Theme][UPDATE 4/21]Touch_of_Moto_GingerBlur_V2.9 [Sbrissen mod EC01/ED01 & EB01]

Hey guys and gals,
This is the stock Motorola blur theme made for and based off Sbrissen's latest mod (EC01). Zip contains framework-res/twframework-res.apk's and themed apps more will get added if community interest is maintained.
*NOTE* Has been tested and confirmed working on EB01 let me know if it breaks anything thanks.
Hey guys here is another incremental update finished the framework and got it all cleaned up and all blured out (and under 4mb now ). I also got around to doing the settings.apk which alot of people asked for. Anyway It's starting to get more complete now. I am still working on the phone.apk, incall dialer and a transparent contacts.apk. I prefer incremental updates as I can make sure I didn't break anything and it makes narrowing down the suspect easier. Hope you guys like it.
I would like to thank nitsuj17 for pointing me in the right direction for the media scanner notification and also for his DialerTabActivity.apk theme from bluebread theme I used as a base for my dialer. I would also like to take time to thank jamezelle, drcloverdale, stericson, sbrissen and all the other contributors, themers and developers for the android community. Looking real good so far. I had gotten away from all blue and all black themes because they seemed to get too dark for my taste, and went with NitroVivid. But some of those icons are sweet looking, so I may have to switch back to a blue theme. Nice work.

Here's that more pure version I had promised for those who had pm'd me or are interested. It has all the GingerBlur notifications, a new accurate battery and charging animation and a semitransparent notification drop down. (the area where the info is displayed) Again thanks to Sbrissen for his awesome mod and to P3Droid (who leaked the rom I got the images from). Enjoy if you like it hit the thanks button. Themed apps coming and be on the look out for a flat black version.
Don't forget about the themed Multitouch KB on the first post.

I'm running the debloated EC01 rom and I can't seem to be able to flash this theme. It gives me an error that says (bad) at the end with the 1.8 link. I tried rapidshare and megaupload and neither of them worked :/

hey it was a bad zip I have reuploaded and its good to go. thanks for catching it.

I don't know if this is completely left field, but what are the chances that theme devs could just release the notification bar and drop screen alone? I have a few friends using different phones that aren't into changing the entire look of their phone, but would kill to have only the notification bar and drop screens seen on many of these themes. Anyway, just a thought/suggestion.

Portal Homescreen
This is what I've come up with. A combo of Minimalistic Text, a good Portal live wallpaper with a Wheatley that moves screen to screen, and Simple Text for icon creation. Oh, and the samba Still Alive song for a ringtone and orange portal noise for notifications.

I have no idea, but I already deleted the trial app. You get the picture though, nothing but stock rooted goodness. Liking the Motorola android skin actually.

What are you guys using to screenshot? I have tried more than 1 app that would not work and I got one to work but it was in bmp and I would prefer a different file format.

I use Screenshot ER. Works fine for me. I prefer Screenshot It but it makes the images all garbled.

Drocap2 worked just fine.

So where did you pick up those icons?

A quick search of WP7 in Market seems to reveal Launcher 7 as the potential app.

This theme is my favorite by far! Hey OP, when connected to my standard dock, the lock screen sliders revert back to the blue-ish color. Just wanted to let you know.:thumbup:

EDIT: Yep I found them. Little busy at work right now though. I'll give you a download in a little bit.
EDIT 2: Here's a full download of FuRyX with the red music buttons. Let me know if its what you want.
NOTE: If you already have FuRyX for Eclipse 2.2 on your device, you don't need to wipe. Just install this over top of it for the edited music buttons.

Not a problem bro. You might wanna check it for yourself. When I tried it on my device, the glow was a little too "thick" and it was hard to see the actually button. I reduced the glow for the download I provided but never tried it out.

I've been using xda for over a year now to learn as much as I can about the devices I've had. I don't know why I never registered. I guess I've always been able to find my answers without asking. Im wanting to get into this type of theming. (Theres only so much you can do with UOT)

thanks, hope you all had a good one as well...the boot animation may be put on hold, as I am working on a new theme that I am expecting to be my best yet (fingers crossed)

Not sure if you meant to do this, but it seems that all the icons except for the battery in the notification bar are all back to stock. I dont mind, but love the other ones too! and as stated, so far, that and the unlock screen are the only things I notice different....

yeah, I'm trying to get this one as close to the true ICS look as I can so I've been switching back to more stock icons

update for 3.0 is upppp

Love the look of this theme, but I get a lot of black text on black background, or blue text on blue background (ebay app). That was off a fresh install of Eclipse with a full phone wipe and format.
