[Q] Bionic keypad voicemail issue - Motorola Droid Bionic

Has anyone had a problem with their Bionic where you call your voicemail and it brings up the keypad but you cant type anything in? Mine will either go blank or not type the number when I try and put in my code. If I hold it at a certain angle it seems to work better and some numbers seem to work better than others. Its fine when I use the keypad to make a phone call though. I saw a post on a Verizon forum where someone else had the same issue but it didn't have a fix. Any ideas?
I already sent this thing back once because it would not shut off without turning itself back on.

Sprint Diamond - Call Status screen disappears

I have searched everywhere and have not come across anything on this issue, so I am hoping that someone here might have some insight. I also posted this on PPCGeeks.
After my phone has been running a while, the Call Status screen, the one with the speakerphone, mute, and big red end call button, just dissapears. The only thing I can see is the menu for keypad, otherwise it just shows whatever my last current screen was.
Any idea why this is happening? The only way to fix it is to soft reset the phone. I am wondering if a tweak might have created this problem.
I have the Sprint Diamond with stock rom.
Thanks in advance...

[Q] Phone won't ring when screen is locked. 2.1 black Quarx

Hi guys
I have noticed something weird. My phone won't ring when the screen is locked, in fact, it doesn't show the incoming call screen or anything. Eventually, I am told that "the cell phone I am trying to ring is either turned of or outside the cell phone network" by a pre-recorded message. I am running 2.1 black Quarx.
Its very strange, if the phone is unlocked and I ring it then it rings and everything is fine. If I ring it while its locked, then unlock it, then sometimes after 10 seconds it might ring eventually.
Has anybody got any idea about what is going on?
Actually, its a little more complicated as I have found out while been playing around a bit today. If I leave it for say more than 10 minutes, it won't ring. If I leave it alone for 10 minutes, then ring and let the phone ring for a minute my cell won't ring. If I hit the home button which wakes the screen up, the phone will - after a 2 or 3 seconds delay - show the incoming call screen and start ringing! It doesn't seem to matter if its plugged in or not, in fact, I can run "adb catlog" while ringing! Nothing in the logs seem to hiont at what the issue is.
I used to get something similar to what you are experiencing but somehow along the way the problems just stopped. I think its because I've flashed my phone so many times. Just reflash your phone and see if that helps. If it doesn't then flash to a different 2.1 version

It is probably an issue with my cell phone network, rather than my phone! Which is good and bad, because it means I have to wait for those dicks to fix their stuff - I can't fix it myself.

[Q] Dialer screen loss

I'm running 4.4.4. Rooted and unlocked.
This problem occurred before I upgraded.
When I call someone, the dialer screen immediately disappears and when I'm done with the call I usually have to press the power button 3 or 4 times to get my lock screen back. I have blue tooth for my hearing aids. When I use that, it doesn't disappear although after the call I need to hit the power button twice for the lock screen. I might have changed some settings inadvertently due to the screen changing when it sould have turned off. I think the blue tooth on my hearing aids is what activates the screens. I'm using Apex launcher. I have had my phone completely apart because of a plugged mic opening. I don't think this anything to do with the problem at hand, At one time on my phone I saw a setting someplace where I could end a call with the power button. Anyone know where that's at? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I might flash it back completely stock.

Do you have two dialer apps? I had a similar problem and the problem ended up being having the stock dialer as well as the google dialer installed.
I got rid of the stock dialer and then the problem went away.
Settings > Accessibility > Power button ends call (check that).
Do you have a screen protector? If misplaced, it may activate the sensor that turns off the screen when the phone is up to your face.

To anyone having this issue: I have seen this issue several times now with multiple members. I haven't seen a working solution yet except that a factory reset sometimes solves it, and flashing back to 100% stock as per the return to stock thread (in the General sub-forum) always solves it. I know it is often a pain to have to set everything up all over again, but it is the only solution I'm aware of.
Good luck
Yep factory reset was the only thing that fixed it for me

Screen turns off during call

Hey there,
I am using the new lollipop and so far its great. However there is one very annoying thing. During calls I can't access the touchscreen, it gets turned off/black when I take the phone away from my face/ear it should be accessible again, right? so I can't hang up or access the numeric field for typing something.
Is there any setting or solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
Thorsten

Nothing happens when it rings

Admittedly, I don't actually talk on the phone very much. But whenever I do get a call, I get ringtone, LED flashing, but regardless of what app I'm in or if the screen is off, No caller picture, no phone number, nothing on screen at all. I have to manually go into the dialer and answer it.
I have only seen mention of this problem with regards to the nexus 5, so I'm hoping someone here can shed some light.
Wow, seriously no replies at all?
I'm on stock and rooted zv6. Happens whether blue tooth is on or off, regardless if it's connected to my laptop or head unit.
Any tips or changes I might be missing? Maybe an option buried somewhere I haven't found yet?
