Disappearing apps - Motorola Droid Bionic

So what the hell is going on?! I keep loosing apps now I'm using ZD Box to move apps to SD card...is this the problem? Somebody help cause this **** getting annoying! Thanks in advance
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App

Yes move them to the phone.

I found ZD Box was moving my apps without asking, deleted.

Ah thanks guys will try different app and see how that goes and if it still continues will just stop moving them all together
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App

STOP MOVING APPS! Why r u moving apps? You have dedicated app space u do not need to move to SD card.

Sent from my Xoom using XDA App

I just copy them all to my computer and keep them there, most people us TI to back them up.

Huh nice don't know why the hell I didn't think of that haha thanks!!

Deodexed rom from Kejar

For those of you not in the know,
Kejar released a deodexed debloated version at rootzwiki.
http://rootzwiki.com/forumdisplay.php?296-Liberty-Team
Go team!
Awesome, but what exactly is removed. And I also saw a comment about the 4G icon, is it changed or something?
Id like to know what's removed also... I use some if the bloat but certainly not all of it
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
I don't remeber every file I removed sorry
Although I can say I didnt go crazy.. Install the ROM if something is missing you want simply post it in the thread.. I am still trying to get a barring on what everyone wants to keep in the ROM... So I need your feedback
Quick question...I'm coming from the Droid Incredible, which obviously is HTC, so I don't know much about Team Liberty, though I've heard the name, and I've never even owned a Motorola device, so I'm assuming they make good stuff...do they happen to make AOSP? I really am looking forward to CM. I think AOSP ROMs will FLY on this phone.

Conversely, I could do without:
Go to meeting
Moto print
Stock news app
Task
My Verizon
Zumocast is a must have.
Hope that helps.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
The only thing that needs to be gone absolutely is the script that stops you from using 3rd party wireless tether app's. Did you remove that, or just repack the app loadout?

Already loving it. Thanks for all your hard work!
Normally I would get to work and the battery would be reading 90%. Now it went over two hours before it even moved from 100%, and that was mostly due to my building blocking cell signals unless I'm by a window.
Just a question to people out there, I saw one person post that they just installed with no wipe, how are others fairing with that?
Would you suggest a full wipe Kejar?
I went ahead and did a full wipe, but was just curious since it's essentially the same build we all have, only deodexed and bloatware removal, and I know for updates in ROMs, like CM7 nightlys, all that was really needed was to wipe the CACHE and Dalvik when updating.
I could do without My Verizon & Books. Both can be downloaded from the market.

A little birdy told me that both SD cards mount Now I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links to different sites so be patient with me moderators and don't ban my account(happened before not sure why tho.
But whatever here's the site

Question, if you have installed the lastest ICS rom(the one that was released today) on first install did the music player start playing songs randomly?
Sent from my BIONIC in a bowl of ICE CREAM
Cam still doesnt work... damn.. honestly if it did i would seriously run this for a couple days.. blur cam wouldnt install even thru the way thru root explorer.. i did get an AOSP cam to install using that method but it would open.. market cams dont work either
I had to do a lot of scrolling and load next 10 several times to find this thread. Least now it can be back near the top so people will see it. Not all of us use xda on a computer and have as good of search options.

I wish my xda app had a thanks button because I would thank you for all the howto guides you have up. Even though I haven't needed them, I'm glad to see them up for other users who do. Also like seeing someone trying to make our community a better one. Now we need a thread linking to all of the roms.

Yes but it's not the most organized. The 902 roms are the only ones not labeled 902, instead listed under cyanogenmod/aosp based while 901, 893, and 886 are labeled. For someone new, that could cause extra confusion.
I'm more confident that insanemod could make a better one. Not to be funny, but I'm starting to think he should be the moderator.

Virus??

Twice now, a voice will start speaking to me in Spanish from my phone...totally out of the blue...sound like an ad maybe for Heineken. Have I picked up a worm or something on my beloved cappy?

Probably not a virus, but perhaps an app that has airpush ads or something. That's why it's good to read reviews for apps first

Agreed, OP can try one of those anti-virus apps, many of which are free, but I would just go back to stock (or whatever ROM you're using) and stick with trustworthy apps.
If your rooted, try Adfree Android by Big Tin Can.

I hate it when people create a new thread for an existing topic. I think it makes it difficult for people to find useful information because it gets scattered amongst the different threads. It only happens when someone fails to search first or when they feel that their opinion is so important that they deserve to have their own thread. The mods should move the few useful posts to the existing thread and remove this one altogether.

I completely agree. However, you should get use to it, because it will happen more and more. A popular phone means it's going to be popular with the lazy and ignorant as well. The only thing to do is use the "report" button to notify the mods.
I've been a member for several years. I'm used to it, but it seems to be happening a little more often now. I know that the mods have a lot of ground to cover. I'm usually reading through Tapatalk, and I haven't seen an option to report.

Have a great day!

[Q] Ok, we have root. How do we keep it?

Serious question. I've had root on my android since the day the Evo came out. This long wait for the S5 was killing me. Now that we have root, what precautions do we have to take to be sure we don't get an update that will kill it? I seem to remember a program called fota killer or something like that for the Evo. Do we need that (or something similar) for the S5?

There is an option in SuperSU called Survival Mode. Check that Box and that should keep root for you even through and OTA.
Additionally find the software update service in Titanium Backup and freeze it.
