I noticed this is on the new Th3ory 1.7 rom..... has anyone tried it yet? is it worth it? I tried to set it up but it wont go through the set up steps....

so for some reason after i downloaded the droid x multitouch keyboard
from droid-life and put it on my sd card no apps from the market will download.
it keeps on saying download unsuccessful every time i try.
any idea why this is happening and how to fix this issue?

I had this problem until I reflashed my ROM I was using, which was a leaked version of 2.1 on RegawMOD. The latest is fine for me every time I flash it.
Is anyone having any luck find and actually installing any version of Chrome-to-Phone. I have tried version 1.7, 2.0, and 2.1.0 and have had zero luck.
If you do have it mind loading the APK? I know this was designed for froyo but I had 1.7 working on my old 2.1 droid.

You need Froyo, as far as I know. You can try Fennec that has the link sync option.
I use an app called linkpush. It uses Google talk to receive links sent from an addon to most of the major browsers. Its pretty much just like chrome to phone.

Currently use Froyo DOG Beta 8.1 ROM (fully deodexed) with all bloatwares removed.
I've been searching everywhere for Buddies Now & All share deodexed apk but can not find them. Any help in getting these apk's is greatly appreciated.

I would also love to get buddies now back on my phone. Ive tried all the similar apps in the market and none are as good. Running cog 2.3.2 and loving everything else.

So I installed the Gingerbread 2.3 ROM on my Droid1. It's my old phone so tinkering with it and ROM'ing it doesn't matter.
I got Gingerbread on it, 2.2.7 Market, Gapps, everything works fine following a factory reset and a cache wipe.
however within the first 30 minutes or so, it seems like Google blocks my account from doing anything, such as installing apps(browsing apps works fine), logging into Google Talk and using Google services. Gmail "push" stops also.. have to force a refresh.
I opened up the build.prop and notice a bunch of 'test-keys' entries.. could they be actively looking for this and blocking it?
Anyone able to open the build.prop on a Nexus S and check things out?

Ok so i am currently running this froyo ROM (see screnshot for the image on ROM and kernel version)

SO...it was all going fine until now my market will not connect (see screenshot for error message) ..i tried clearing the market app data from manage application but it stil will not connect.

I was wondering if maybe i could try getting a different market.apk, and i wonder if that would actually have any positive impact...well.. i tired a different market .apk (an old copy i had left...) still same error...
any help is greatly appreciated.
i do not think stock rom is 2.2, it should be 2.1-update1 ...
