Droid charge for Droid bionic, Should I?

I have been offered a Droid bionic for my droid charge. Straight up trade. I was hoping you guys could provide some insight.
How do you like the bionic? Also, if any former Charge owners are lurking I would really be interested in you're opinion. I am really just biding my time til the galaxy nexus is released, so I figured the bionic would fetch a little more than my charge on the open market as well. Thanks for you're input!

Charge to Bionic is sure to be an upgrade, provided you like the screen on the Bionic. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, the charge screen is amazing, but the bionic screen looks decent. Thanks

I went through 3 Samsung Charge's and just dumped the last one on eBay. Good riddance Charge!!!
I have the Bionic now and LOVE!!!!! So the screen is not a good as the Charge. If I want to spend any time looking a screen, make it my 55" TV.
The Bionic is very fast and it works great with tethering as the Charge sucks at it.
So i say... get the Bionic is less than a heartbeat!
PS: I rooted mine, kept the stock ROM and tether it without any problems using the factory Hot Spot app. I had to make a single registry change using a $3 app. Well worth it. I use about 10-13GB data a month and VZN hasn't said squat to me.

What don't you like about it? I'm in a similar.predicament as you. I have heard a lot of negativity about this phone though.

I'm a former Charge owner and could not be happier that I switched. I was like you and planned on picking up a Nexus, but I'm so happy with my Bionic I'm not sure I want to go back to a Samsung phone.

radio radio radio, the reception alone is enough for the trade

So are you refering to the reception being terrible on the bionic or the charge.

the charge, not that it's notorious for it but the signal on the motorola is always better, i have personally done a side by side comparison over a 12 hour period in various locations with a co-worker, i win every time

Radio seems good for me, its this damn pentile screen, I can't get used to. Samsung might make some pretty crappy software but DAMN, can they make a beautiful screen....

agreed on the screen, however when it lacks the primary function, to make and receive calls it becomes quite useless you need a super amoled paper weight
Coming from a Charge I can tell you that it will take a while to get used to the screen on the Bionic. The screen, while better than the one on the Atrix and Droid X2, is no competition for samled+. However, once you get past the screen, the smoothness and speed of the Bionic will win you over. Plus the Gig of ram is a huge upgrade over the paltry amount that you gad to struggle through with the Charge. The entire Android experience is more enjoyable on the Bionic.

Hell I'll trade you my charge for it. I've been wanting to get a bionic ever since I went to the store last week but I'm locked in to two years with this thing.
I would do it. Lol

My Bionic was a substitute for what would have been my 4th Charge, if that tells you anything.
And honestly, the screen doesn't look bad except next to a Charge. It's quite bright and the text clarity is incredible- it's easier on my eyes for Kindle reading than any of the other phones I've used. And the difference is less noticeable over time; my girlfriend kept her Charge (for now) and I'm not bothered when picking up my Bionic after using it.
Any thoughts on moving from a Thunderbolt to a Bionic? Is that a step up or a step down? Getting kind of bored with the TB and like the Bionic when I played around with it at the Verizon store.

I'm much happier with my bionic than the bolt, the only thing is the screen doesn't look as good, but the brightness isn't a problem on the bionic like it is on the bolt.

The screen is the main issue with the phone, and tu do get use to it but the text clarity is very bad at times. Black text is fine but a lot of colored text is impossible to read and white text is a nightmare if its small like text in the browser.

its not that moto isnt loved, or the bionic isnt a good phone, its that the bootloader is still locked which hinders developers and developer support
yea i know about the bootloader it sucks but i dont want to buy nexus just because its a new phone and OS well have to sit tight no choice
I honestly am happy with the bionic right now. I would like the galaxy nexus, but I much prefer to buy mods for my car than a new phone every other month. I am going to sit with the bionic for a little while and wait. Hell a quad core phone is already in development from HTC. If I keep buying new phone ill be a poor man. The bionic is so much better than the thunderbolt that I don't care one had an unlocked bootloader and the other one doesn't. The bionic is a great phone.

i do agree with u on the bionic being a great phone but Moto is always the same with the bootloaders dude if it didnt have it locked i would stay for it for a lonnnggg time but idk
Locked Bootloaders are only aren't the end of the world. If you wanted an unlocked bootloader, why didn't you get the LG Revolution because its unlocked. The fact is that the bionic is locked and already has more roms than the revolution which is unlocked.

Flash Bionic to Pageplus...

I recently purchased a Motorola Droid Bionic running ICS 4.O4 v6.7.2233 on eBay. I really would love to have this phone flashed to Pageplus. I KNOW it can be done as I have seen a tutorial on YouTube. But for some reason, my phone is having issues with this. Can anyone help me???

Data Issues

I'm still having 4G issues no matter what ROM I'm running on my bionic. I've tried a new Sim Card with no help.
Luke
Verizon is sending me a replacement Bionic.
Luke
I hope that the new Bionic solves this issue. If not, you may be able to get a different handset under the Verizon warranty. After my replacement Bionic and new SIM card didn't resolve my data drop issues, I asked for a different phone, and they sent a RAZR. The RAZR is great, and has not dropped data at all.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda app-developers app
They would have to offer me the Razr Maxx cause the standard Razr would not cut it. I have to use an extended battery on my Bionic.
Luke
Should have my new Bionic tomorrow.
Luke
I went through a couple Bionics before asking them (Big Red) for my Nexus. They swapped me out for ........... no charge and I couldn't be happier. The only thing I miss about my Bionic are my House and Car docks, that is one thing Moto does well.
I've been having data issues lately. I usually get those when an update is around the corner. Its been a rock solid phone for me, I just get data issues every time they are about to release an update.

Already have a bionic, BUT another wouldn't hurt. What's the price?
Haven't figured it out yet. I'll have to get fair comps from swappa and ebay.
Bionic, regular battery, cover, tpu case.
Extended battery, cover, tpu case.
Verizon clip on hard case (can't remember for which battery).
No sd card.
Phone will be stock JB. Can keep root if wanted (xda offer only lol).
Send me an offer. I'll let you know probably Monday.
