How about an Ice Cream Sandwich Rom?? - Huawei Ideos X6

How about an Ice Cream Sandwich Rom for our phone??

The OP doesn't seem to be developing an ICS ROM, especially since source code has yet to be released. Moved this thread to general.

I think they might as well ditch the gingerbread update and go straight to ice cream sandwich. Sadly, we'll probably get 2.3.x when 4.0 has been released and will never get a 4.0 update. Capitalism at its best.

*looks for places to donate to 4.0 for p970*
Good news!
I'll have to wait anxiously in our OB.
Google has been public their code for ICS, while LG still patiently keep their GingerBeard secret.
2+ for Google
1+ for CyanogenMod - An ICS release soon
2- for LG

Now we have reason to get jealous. SE just confirmed today that they will really update their 2011 Xperia lineup to 4.0 ICS. We know those phones have only about 320MB of ROM. LG it's your turn!

ICS source code available NOW!

http://gizmodo.com/5859463/android-40-ice-cream-sandwich-source-code-is-out-now
Ice Cream Sandwich is on its way with the Galaxy Nexus, but now Google's released its source code through the Android Open Source Project, meaning everyone can dig in and start working on their ports (and bastardizations) for other devices.
Oh yeah!
Wooooop. Hopefully a beta rom is on the horizon!

Actually im using m2 right now (4.0)
Do you think it is a good idea to go back to android 2.x?
One more rom i found yesterday is
HyperSense Nova
What do you think?
If you're not looking for a MIUI ROM in first place I would suggest take this ROM.

At the moment one of the best ICS ROM's for the N1 (opinions on the net).

Playground is the only ICS rom with working camcorder. Ice Cold Sandwich is probably abandoned.

Tried them all
Ice cold sandwich really is the best
Thank!!!
First question would be, sense or no sence.
For Sense, I shortly tried Flash One, and it felt quite good, if you are a the sense type.
No Sense, Icecold has had slot of work done to it, but develipment has stopped. Playground is pretty new, feels food too and has a developer working.
I prefer having a ROM with ongoing developnent until we have one that actually finishes.
