Phone does not wake up after ICS

Hey everyone,
I flashed ICS a few days ago and then a day or two later flashed rocket rom. I am not really sure if this problem happened before rocket or not.
My phone randomly "shuts off". Maybe it doesn't wake up, I don't know how to tell the difference. I have to either pull out the battery or do a hard reset sometimes.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? Go back to gingerbread? Or reinstall rocket? flash a different ROM (midnote, etc)?
Thanks everyone!

There is an app called Wake Lock or Keep Awake or something that won't let your phone get into deep sleep so it doesn't happen.
Had the same problem, I remembered from the HTC HD2 forums something about avoiding it by turning off auto-brightness.
After having 4 sleep of deaths in 3 hours, I had it once in 24 hours. Dunno if that's what affected it, but much better. Try it.
Kernel related. Flash a different one. Wipe cache and dalvik after kernel flash.
Some kernels are plagued by this problem because of kernel base used. Minor hardware changes in newer batches do not like the old kernel base.

screen goes off after alarm

when having an alarm the screen goes off after a second or two.
so if i want to act for the alarm i cant just slide the screen to unlock the alarm, but i must first click on the on/off button.
thats annoying
LA6 stock, CSC is ATO
How long is your screen timeout? try increasing it..

it doesnt matter how the display timeout is set.
the screen even with 10 minutes of display timeout goes black after an alarm in a few seconds...
Will installing clock.apk with newer one or the kernel which i use might solve the problem. if you want i can upload my working .apk and kernel.

if i need root for that, than that would be a no solution for me. (not rooted yet)
i ve got 2.3.6 version (LA6). i can try your apk.
Rooting is necessary to solve your issue.i can clearly guide you how to..

maybe today i will have it rooted.
in that case i will give a custom rom on it.
Oh! Then your prob will solved..

Lock screen issues

Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with the lock screen doubling up. I'm working on a ROM based off v9 and I'm running go locker. Every time I unlock go locker, the stock VZW lock screen flashes then it goes to my home screen. Lg home and the STOCK, Swype up piece of glass, lock screen are still installed. things do settle down after a day or two, but once rebooted it happens all over again. I'm just testing different launchers and lockers. Suggestions?

He is making a ROM. Uninstalling it would be the best solution.
Freezing works too. But the weird thing is my wife has yet to see this issue. (She's my in house beta tester ) it's just odd. Was just trying to have lg home as the default launcher in my ROM. It's all good thanks everyone

Always answering in speakermode

My wifes Note is always answering the calls in speakermode, its annoying because she has to disable it everytime she answer a call.
Its a rooted Note on Rooted_Stock_Odex_N7000XXLC1.
Alrewdy tried a different Contacts.apk and tried removing the battery during answering/calling,
Is there a way to disable it?
not sure but check if driving mode is on.

Thnx found it but everything was already turned off.
Tried to set everything on and then off again and it worked for a moment
When i picked up a call it was off but 2 seconds later it turned itself on and now its always on again.
if you on a safe kernel try doing a factory reset. apps and data will be lost

Just rec'd a toast notification for an app ResetNotify, asking Super User permission. I granted it. I have never seen this before, has anyone else?
I'm running Mack's dark horse Rom that I dirty flashed on top of OMJ's Rom over a week ago.

Here's an observation - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40581584#post40581584
HTCResetNotify.apk has been consistently documented back to 2011 for providing either a statusbar notification or popup for resets or crashes. It's been the target for debloating on a number of roms.
I'd ignore. If you ever rocked stock and devunlock before rooting with a custom recovery you will notice that there is usually a crash htc error message just about ever power off and power on.

I flashed cwm immediately after devunlock so I never saw those errors on power down.
I'm letting it ride.
