put a US tmobile galaxy tab 7 into service mode? or know how to get into the technions menu? the US tabby has no dial pad. I found a program to unlock the network sim thou. it just mods the nv_data file.
You can get to it but there is nothing you can do there that actually changes a setting.

I just bought a used 3 month old AT&T Tilt for $300 and I have tried to unlock it with no luck. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong.
This is what I got:
AT&T Tilt with Win 6.1, No other changes made to the phone that I'm aware of.
I downloaded "Kaiser-Simunlocker" from this site and followed the directions to the "T".
It all goes just as the instructions say until it is supposed to display the unlock code on my computer. The Window that is supposed to show me the unlock code won't stay open. It opens and instantly disappears... It doesn't stay open even a second so I can't read it.....
I'm not sure what is wrong or what I am doing wrong so I'm hoping (Praying) somebody here can walk me through this.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance somebody can offer.....

The best thing you can do is call AT&T at this number..... (888) 892-9760 Tell them that you bought it used & you'd like the Subsidy Unlock Code for the phone. They're gonna ask you for the IMEI #. Dial *#06# before you call them & write that number down. That'll get you a really good start.

I appreciate the reply however I already tried to get the code from AT&T....
They wouldn't give it to me. I had a hell of a time just getting to talk to somebody because I don't have an AT&T account.
I never could get mine to work because im on vista but you need to open a comand promt, it should be in Start/Program/accessorys if im not mistaking, i am assuming your on step 2 I would try typing something like "C:\Users\Joshua\Desktop\kaiser-simunlocker\step2\kaiser-simunlocker.exe" yours wont be quite like that since your probly using Windows XP but you get the idea
I just got it unlocked..... I found a newer unlocker on here and it did the trick...thanks guys!

a quick way to get the msl is to tell sprint that u have an error connecting and u have a diamond this is the number for Sprint ATS youll get more help there 18778096696

unlock it for what provider? its a sim-less unit.
i know its a simless unit. This is a cdma unit for sprint. Getting the MSL to enter my own phone number in the EPST. Without it i wont be able to provision it for a specific carrier
i finally got it thanks. For others who want to know how to get it i used cdma workshop 2.7 i tried reading the SPC, click on RAM and custom start address at 0100. Just got it from the other forum
they gave me my msl over the phone because I added my old phone # to it. You could call and say you got a sprint phone, want to sign up for service, (you'll have to do that), then they'll give you the msl code. I've tried getspc, but the value I got was different then what sprint gave me.

I found a phone and flashed the firmware, and it says enter the network code also.
So i entered the dialer code you said and the lock code is on.
So what cind of app is there, ore other way to fix the problem

I did some searching online and found that there is a code you can put into the dialer to access a STK hidden menu, which ultimately let's you alter the phone to accept WCDMA frequencies and such. The code is:

However the phone then requires a password. I found 774632 as the password but when I put in the sequence, nothing happens.
I bought this phone used for 65,000 yen (about $720) and it is apparently unlocked, as I can use my docomo number without a problem. I desperately want to keep the phone (the store said I could return it) but have no use for it without the data, and thus would be incredibly grateful if someone could help me out...
May be try to use 996412 instead of 774632

I have been trying to activate my new phone on ring plus. It is an LG LS991. I am on the ZV6 firmware. I have done a device swap and have been in contact with Ringplus. They said that everything that is OK on their end and my phone will not provision. I tried to enter ##MSL# and nothing happens. I do not see an edit menu. I am entering my actual MSL code just to clarify that. Is there a way to get a hidden menu on the G4 that will allow me to edit the MDN & MIN numbers?

Cannot really access anything from that menu, I am just returning the phone today because something is wrong with it.
LG g4 works on SIm card So u cannot provsion it mannualy
U need a Sprint Blank simcard to acitvate it
did you happen to modify your carrier folder from the sim unlock mod? Changing the permission of node.db and node.db-journal to all read write execute fixed the provision issue for me.

I'm having the same problem. Can't get this G4 to work on old Sprint SERO - ESN is right but I can't update MIN or MDN any way I try. Anyone figure this out and could help?

You can try the hidden menu apk I listed in the gsm unlock page it might get you in to help

Yeah, I had tried that. But it doesn't seem that any of the information will save properly; after a reboot, it still does not give me the right MDN. That is with or without the sim card. With the sim card ii, it gives me the last four of the cards ICCID as the phone number with 000-000-XXXX. Not sure if G4 just will not work b/c I don't have a SIM programmed (it is just an unused sprint sim)? But my sero plan is 3g only, really don't need the lte stuff or sim at all. Without sim card I just get MDN and phone number as 'unknown'.
I think this is probably easier with boost or another carrier; curious if ANYONE has ever activated a g4 on SERO basic?

is sero a gsm carrier or cdma
Its CDMA. Its true sprint, its just an old employee plan. I never added in the LTE/4G service.
