Hello, I worked in the past with The OG Droid, HTC Incredible, HTC Thunderbolt in a Team environment and solo. I began my work with Kernels and later moved on to work with JRummy and N8Dyddy in Lithuimmod. That was back in the day "ha". Altough the last kernel work I did publicly was with the HTC Thunderbolt I have continued to follow the world of Android very closely.
Today I am inviting all Kernel and Theme developers to post their work in my new app that will soon be released to the Market. The app will be a centralized location for just Themes and Kernels to be downloaded and brief info about the work. I know time is valuable, my intent is to cut down the time to find the latest and greatest, offering these hard working developers another channel for their work to shine, not taking away from this wonderful forum of course. I enjoy the forums and only truly enjoy them when I am home from work with a drink and can take in all the info.
I look forward to hearing from all .Thank you and it feels good to be back.
Developers please send me your info i.e
Device,Build info and any other relevant information.

Howdy all,
I've ordered a Motorola Droid and it'll be curtains for my HTC Tattoo Android development.
What does this mean? I'll still be an AzusaROM developer. However, I won't be hovering around the Click Android Development much any more.
To the other developers: Don't give up. Your work is awesome, and really shows what the Tattoo can do. HTC should learn from our ROMs, we don't want all the Sense UI gloss and crappy unoptimized kernels!
To my AzusaROM users: You are more than welcome to use AzusaROM as a starting base for your Android ROMs. Just add my credit line like "Based on AzusaROM by Coburn64" in the credits.
To my friends and foes: A big thank you for all your help and support over the period of time I've been a Tattoo developer. Keep on churning out those ROMs, make the Tattoo shine and burn out that NAND chip!
For now, I bid you farewell. If you see me around, say Hi... Hit me up on Twitter (it's in my sig) and we'll chat.
Take care and see ya,
Coburn.
Sad to see another one move away from the tattoo, but I can understand it. So I will stay here, waving with my tattoo and remember the good old times with mainfram3, you and the others that were involved in kicking HTC's ass the first time by finding a way to root our phones
Have a lot of fun with your new motorola!

I also find it sad that a very good ROM dev is leaving us - i also thought buying a Droid (in Germany it is named Milestone), but I moved away from these thoughts as I'll either buy a Samsung Galaxy S or wait until the Droid X will be coming to Europe hopefully
Anyway, thanks for your hard work and I hope that you will have anice time with your new toy
Regards
bye bye and good uck with your ner an-DROID!
Goodbye. This is sad I'm gonna have to buy another phone at some point...
Thanks for your work!
To Coburn64
Thank you, Coburn64 !!!!!
Hi xda members, devs and modders;
Having just recently returned to Android from using Blackberry for a year, I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to the health and happiness of xda modders and dev teams.
I've recently made the decision on a new Velocity as my device (only reason it beat out the Samsung Nexus is the LTE support) - I was happy to find out that it was upgradable to ICS - however, I'm horrified to see that the Dev forum is essentially a waste land or graveyard for what was the best repository of tweakers and cooks the world over.
I digress from the purpose of this thread; I request, that when the current moderator finishes weaving his magic and brings the devs back to xda, could they please, PLEASE work on an ICS ROM that has absolutely NO trace of HTC Sense anywhere!??!
I personally would LOVE to see a Vivid, Velocity etc. version of this ROM developed; Android Open Kang Project.
I hope to see a lot of support behind this dev.
Cheers;

CM9 is being worked on. check the dev thread
We really need a stable AOSP based ROM that can be built from source at the moment. Devs have chosen CM9, so once that is completed and fully functional, we can easily build AOKP/AOSP or whatever AOSP based ROM you want just along as there is a source for it.
The xda-developers portal posted an article introducing the coming of xda-University.com. In brief, it will be a centralised place where people will be able to go to in order to learn how to root their phones and perform more complicated tasks such as building from source and developing your own ROMs.
I think it will be a great idea to bring all of the knowledge scattered around the developers forums into one place to make it easier to find for people interested in learning.
The site isn't up yet, but you can sign-up to receive news via email when the site will go live. Between you and me, I can't wait!
Damn, that's freaking awesome. That'll be a great resource for all devs! I can't wait until this site launches, I signed up to be notified
That sounds great. I've always wanted a forum like that for android.

Hmm... I was making something very similar known as the Android Development Codex. It is a complete, monolithic, and community editable guide for all mobile devices, to reform how XDA Developers works. And it already exists with guides for the Droid Incredible and the HD2.
More info here.
Originally, I was going to keep the Android Development Codex as a surprise until all the guides for the devices I owned were complete. However, a new project called "XDA University" is being started with similar goals, so I am prematurely releasing my work to the community and awaiting further developments.
If anyone here has a hand in creating the XDA University, please contact me, because I have some great ideas on how to make it work, not to mention tons of data for us to start with.
Signed up, really wanting to learn this stuff myself. Sick of being a leech and not giving back
We appreciate the current developers that are working on getting LiquidSmooth and Cyanogenmod to run on our devices. Personally, I feel that if we had at least one or two developers who have done longtime/extensive work with Android devices; would make our little community an extremely happy bunch and help our current developers out extremely as there are a few hiccups that they are trying to sort themselves as dedicated devs.
I understand that everyone can be tied up on a consistent and heavy basis but if its not too much to ask from the community; I would like to request someone of higher knowledge in this to take a look at helping us get at least one fully functional AOSP/AOKP/CM/Para/Omni/Liquid etc. ROM of the latter on our devices or at least throw a few patches to the developers on our side.
We really appreciate the time and effort you all put into the work that you so heartfully give and put out there for us and we thank you sincerely.

This would be amazing, especially with the work on LiquidSmooth being halted, without a booting release, This phone is a "mid-range flagship" so I thought it would be a more popular device. :/
I believe your answer lies within the thread linked below

Hey all. I've been on here on-off for the better part of the decade; mainly to try phone rooting. I started working for https://www.zerotier.com/ last week, and the company has a paid Android app on the marketplace. I've already had one person trying to reach out to me offering to do some code help; our dev team is working on some stuff to improve the app; and I saw one discussion of folks looking to install it via APK on Lineage. Any feedback on your experience is welcome, so I can have the others look at it. Thanks!
