I'm just wondering. I have firerat's, V6 Supercharger and deca's battery tweak (really old lol). I'm not sure how you classify those things but I would to get more of them. I thinks scripts or tweaks are the right names for them? What other ones are there?

I could care less about themes and whatnot. What i care about is how efficiently my phone runs.
Ive been running Fresh Rom 2.1.2 by flipz
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681856
and it works fine.
But DamageControl v2.09.01 - Final Hero ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6062187
is now around.
Can you guys describe damage control.
(im not in a area where i can flash froms freely)
but overall
How can you determine what rom is faster and more efficient in turns of battery life and speed?
Which one..if you use one or the other or both, do you think is best in these areas.
What do you like and dislike about them?
thanks in advance
Everyone has their own like and dislike. Both ROM is good.. I tried both rom for a week one after another. Both gave same amount of battery life and performance. This is with OC. But hey this is my opinion and it does not count out of 1 million other opinions.
Fresh 2.1.2 with OC (min 245, max 710), I get 2.9-3.0 in Linpack. I've wanted to try DamageControl out, but I'm currently waiting for Darch to release his 2.2 ROM.
I've used both also, and have gone through many different ROM's. I've ended up sticking with DC 2.0.9. The main reason is that DC has a config option that allows me to prevent HTC Sense, Sprint Apps (except VoiceMail), and others from booting at start up. this requires that i use the Helix Launcher, but hey, i think i like it better then the Sense launcher. It doesn't have the same glean to it, and he widgets aren't as fancy, but much longer battery, a touch faster, and a bit more stable. i haven't been able to get overclock to work on DC though.
Opinions are like A$$holes, everyone's got one...
well i wanna know opinions also
Should've added a poll for people to vote on
But I say Fresh 2.1.2 and agree with the guy up there that said to OC it
I personally use Fresh 2.1.2 due to battery life, but I think Darch is probably faster. My personal reason for using Fresh is to be able to change some settings that Darch has hidden that enable me to double my battery life(I have really bad signal at work). Also, remember Fresh ROM comes with the HTC kernel, which is not overclockable; so if you want to OC it, you will have to switch to Toast's kernel. Unfortunately flipz hasn't released a version of Fresh Toast that includes many of his performance tweaks in 2.1.2, so I actually found 2.1.2 to be faster than Fresh Toast 2.1 even with it OCed.
Need recommendation on which overclocking kernel currently performs the best..
I've used raspdeep's v216 and its pretty good, very responsive..
Right now Im trying the Super Optimized Kernel 4.2 and it also is very responsive, cant really tell the difference so far..
3rd on the list is the YA-OK 1.30
How about you guys, what are your experiences/feedbacks on these overclocking kernels ?
At first I dont want to neglect anybody's work here, Im proud of what all devs here trying to do whatever they can to make sgs faster.
I may sound indifferent/malocontent, but besides ext/340mb/oc effects of other 'speed tweaks' are so small that I dont notice them. I stick with raspdeeps, mostly because I find it complete (bln <3), most 'stable' and long term. New kernel comes like every 1-2weeks, which is perfect. I just trust raspdeeps work, runing his kenels since his first.
I agree that all 3 kernels have very similar performance but it never hurts to figure out w/c has the best optimization.. from the change logs all 3 seems to offer a different package.
So far.. YA-OK runs better on my SGS.
But never tried the two yet.

I just found out today that YA-OK is giving my phone some delayed wake up state from a deep sleep when I press the lock button or when I get a call.
Hi, I'm new with the Nexus One, (on the way), but want to know what are the advantages of change the ROM?
Thanks,
ATARI
Rooting and switching ROMs can bring many things some ROMs have darktremor so you can put all the apps on the SD card (although you can install it on allot of ROMs that don't have it built in). ROMs can change the entire ui so you like it a bit better, they can make your phone faster, some pcan permit you to listen to real fm radio and a few other things depending on the ROM.
Thanks dude, and which ROM would I install? I know that will be YOUR suggestion, but for sure will better than mine ...
ATARI
Well as a first ROM I always suggest cyanogen mod because it's generally the most stable and has plenty of little tweaks that are fun to have like trackball wake, quiet hours and battery percentage.
But in the end it comes down to personal preference so the best thing you can do is to try a few out and pick the one you like best.
I'd also look at some of the near-stock ROMs available. Very stable, and just having root can lead to some pretty cool things.
I know its personal preference and differs per phone, but I'm curious what other Note 4 user like about different governor's. Therr are so many and I often forget to try my new ones. I regulary use any variation of interactive. It started with faux kernel and its not scary so I always seem to go to it. I don't recall ever trying some of the more exotic ones for an extended time. Flash too much I guess. Any opinions on something I don't know about?
Title is self explanatory, I'm also looking for the best mods, script or whatever to enhance for pure gaming, im also not opposed to switching my Rom or anything but I would prefer to stay with a touchwiz set up but if I can maximize my gaming experience running something else then hook me UP! Currently I'm running a stock 7.0 rooted with neked4nougat which removed all the crapware lol, i then flashed N4N synapse KERNEL (Thanks btw for creating and maintaining this) but I'm just learning about kernels and we'll plainly put synapse is half English the other half Martian as far as im concerned lmao. If there's an option to overclock the gpu then I'm guessing it's in the martian half lmao
Also I guess I was wondering about if I can somehow create two separate partitions on my machine (64gb) to 32 and another 32. I was using dualboot patcher and i was wondering if i could just have 2 Roms but on there own seperate partition. I like to flash Roms and try new stuff a lot and id just prefer an area I could work with not affected on way by what I'm running originally
Last but most certainly least! Lol how can I add a signature onto my msgs it hought it would show my devices but I guess I missed something, Sorry been reading here for years but just started posting and learning more in depth.
