For some reason verizonwireless.com doesn't have any. Where can we buy oem battery covers in white? There are a bunch on ebay, but they are cheap fake ones from hong kong.
Just look for one on Amazon
Amazon has them for $5-$10, OEM are only the white, red, and black so be careful not to get an original color. You can also go to HTC's own webstore and purchase directly from them
The Android Central store has them and so does shopamerica.HTC.com.

Anyone have any clue if the SGT will fit in the Cole Haan Kindle covers? The dimensions for the Kindle and SGT seem very similar (despite the thickness http://mikecanex.wordpress.com/2011/03/16/size-comparison-kindle-3-vs-samsung-galaxy-tab/ )
Here is the case specifically I'm interested in...
http://www.amazon.com/Cole-Haan-Han...S6/ref=sr_1_47?ie=UTF8&qid=1303174443&sr=8-47
Looks like it would be a more perfect fit even. The SGT will certainly fill-out the cover properly...
If you look at the fifth picture on the "newer version" that Amazon page has, you'll see that case has special metal hooks to go into the Kindle. These would not play nice with your tab.
Yeps. The newer model won't work. Says something about size 6" also.
Older model is a better fit...
Hey guys, I know several of you have been looking for good car mounting solutions for your Nook. After looking around, I really only saw two options. A mount from Arkon, and one from RAM. I decided to buy the RAM, as it looked like it would fit my pending Jeep Wrangler install a little better. I ordered it last week, even though it was listed as unavailable. To my surprise, it showed up yesterday. It's part number RAM-HOL-TAB4U, and I bought it directly from RAM.
It's really pretty simple in design. One side bracket is spring loaded, and it's dead simple to take the Nook in and out. Also, the mount I got was designed for Nook's with cases or covers. I don't have one yet, but will as soon as I find one I like. Judging from the amount of room left in the mount, you could double the thickness of the Nook, and still have it fit. It does fit securely without a cover, but it looks a little small sitting in there. The build quality is great, and I'm really looking forward to starting my install. (Of course I'll document that once underway.)
Looks nice. How much did that run you?

I paid a little less than $32 for it. Shipping was $12, so that certainly wasn't cheap. I wish I could have gotten it from Amazon, maybe it would have qualified for Prime free shipping...
FYI, This is also available at Gpscity dot com. In the search box type the word: Galaxy. choose one of the three items.
and use coupon code: ramlivechat or ramemail5 for a 5%off
(UPDATED 5/30) just recieved my holder from Expressmounts aka Gpscity (RAM-HOL TAB5U) It DOES NOT FIT even though at the time it clearly mentioned on the site it was compatible with the nook color with no case, it has now been edited/deleted on their site.
On another site Ram-mount dot com its showing product # (RAM-HOL TAB2U) as being compatible for the nook color , for what its worth.
These docks for the Kindle Fire are on clearance at many Targets for $17-$30 and you can get them from Warehouse Deals on Amazon for around $20.
With a few modifications to the provided dock replacement, you can use this as a dock for your Nexus 7.
Will post pictures soon... But it comes with two plastic docks to place on top of the clock, one designed for the Kindle Fire and one designed for any tablet. The problem is the one designed for any tablet makes the cords for audio and microusb come out of the back the clock, instead of being secured to the dock. By drilling into the alternative dock and securing the audio and microusb cable, you can dock the Nexus 7 standing up vertically.
I'll post pictures soon!
My kids broke my Nook HD+ screen. I've found some places that advertise screens for $30-50 but the only ones I've found in stock are $150 or higher. I can get a used nook for that much.
Is there a place to get a screen cheap enough to make it worth while to repair it?
