[Q] Biff Mod / Froyo ROMS question

All right lately I've been messing around with roms. I have a white G1 with the latest Radio installed on it. I am currently using Biff Mod 1.5 or the latest version. I have tried about 3-4 different ROM's, The 1st released CM6,Another one based off the nightly build (Forgot actual name sorry,) and I am also using Biff Mod (Which I am currently using.)
But lately I have been having the same issue 24/7 with my Rooted G1 and it involves my ring tones.
When my phone is in my pocket it will vibrate for a second then my call notification will go straight to silent mode which makes it so that I miss my calls all the time.
Also if I have my phone out in my hand or just sitting somewhere it does the same thing except when the call comes in it puts it straight on the silent mode.
I have tried adjusting all the ring tone settings, like changing to a default phone ring tone, making sure volume is up, that the speaker works (I played music through music app and it works. and speaker phone works) I just don't know why my ring tones won't play through the speaker
Every time a call comes in it just happens to put itself on silent mode for no reason.
Can anyone give me any tips or help with my issue?
Also if you need any other information feel free to note it and I will provide it..
Thanks
- Deka

[Q] How can you overcome the rising bell sounds?

I would like to ask how to set the incoming call is ringing, do not be rising, but all had to ring the phone?
I use Cm7, and there is no option for asscending, my phone always rings at the volume set.

Yes, it works for me in CM7, the stock ROM or the V20O is at the ascending ring tone where lehetaz configured to continually ring

Gear Notifications Sound

Any way to change that horrible whistle sound. I never feel vibrations. If it is making sound should it also vibrate? I would like the phone to vibrate for all notifications as well as making a sound. I am not rooted and do not plan to so Im looking for a stock solution. Thanks!

Go into your Gear settings, Sounds, Notifications, then there are three options to chose from. Sound or Vibrate (Does not do both), If you are looking to put custom sounds on your gear, you can without being rooted, you just need to enable USB mode and then use wondershare our adb to transfer the sound files your want to your gear, same can be done for ringtones (Only one ringtone supported, your not able to set up according to caller ID)
No Root Neeeded!
Check out this for custom sounds

First ring very low then rings normal. Any fix for this?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've noticed (as I'm sure many of you have) that when receiving a call the first ring is so low it's almost inaudible. then ring #2 on the phone rings at normal sound level. I've tried various ROMs and all of them seem to have it. Is there any fix for this?
Some of the Roms have the ability to turn off ascending ring I believe. In the sound settings.

Call ringtone lower than music and notification

hey guys just got my xperia 1 ii not long ago, everything went well except that after updating to android 11,
my incoming call ringtone has reduced significantly. I thought my speaker got problem but the thing is , media, alarm and even message notification sound remain loud but my incoming call ringtone has becoming alot softer so it should not be speaker problem right?
i tried downloading a 3rd party app for ringtone, the ringtones when played on the app itself were loud but once i set one of them as my phone call ringtone, the volume reduced!
i suspect is software problem but cant find a setting that would fix it. Maybe a certain app that i installed caused it but i have no idea which. Any ideas what could it be? factory reset would be my last solution but i hope it can be fixed without a reset since i have set everything nicely on the phone.
Hi try this app, This might work for you.
It will increase ringtone volume to 100% before receiving normal call.
P.S tested on galaxy devices.
