2.1 & sense

been flashing rom after rom since yesterday but can't seem to find a stable enough hero/sense 2.1 every one i try doesnt have bluetooth working,is there any 2.1 rom closest to the sense ui that has bluetooth working ?

no 2.1 sense has bt working as of now... DefectiveLove, the maker of Happyrom declared earlier in a Tweet that he had a BT lock for about 2 seconds today, he's almost got it figured out i believe...

So far no sense rom has BT.
end of story.
Not even the Android 1.5 sense ROM has BT.

thanks guy's i figured ...is there any way to change the theme of a rom to make it look more sense UI-like or is all that eye candy not yet available

the closest possible of htc sense like
on a non sense phone
anyone have it closer to what i
have then pls post what you guys
have
but so far i think this one
comes the closest out there
(BESIDES THE ACTUAL ONE THATS BEING
PORTED FOR THE GALAXY S DEVICES)
app drawer,phone button,& + button all works..

blackmodz metamorph for the status bar is nearly identical to the sense status bar as well save for the blue battery
flash that and you ll be even closer

Impressive looks rather close but above is right check out the black status it will really help set it off!!!

Sense Themes for CM7

Hi all...read about Sense themes for other phones on CM7...
I downloaded the sense.apk and I want to know if it is in fact working ok on the TB.
I'm not a fan of LPP, ADW, etc. I like sense. Hate all you want...lol.
I would like to try the CM underpinnings with the Sense face/feel.

you are completely defeating the purpose of putting CM7 on your thunderbolt. If you like sense stick with the sense roms if you hate sense like a good percentage of people out there go with CM7.

Maybe I'm not understanding properly.
A sense theme is a bit different than running sense itself, no?
I would like the speed and battery life of CM7 but the look of sense.
The speed and life would still be CM7 based, not sense based...or am I way off base here?
Maybe a better question is...has anyone on CM7 tried a sense theme and reported differences in speed and battery life...?

Not true at all. Some use CM7 because Sense is so bloated, not necessarily for looks. I wouldn't mind having the speed and lightweight of CM7 with the looks of Sense.
Also, to the OP. You can make the device look like Sense with the 'HTC Elegance, theme and LPP with some tweaks to make it look like Sense, but it would be too much to get the Sense launcher onto CM7 if that's what you're asking.

Or...is CM7 generic in this nature? I've got a great CM7 nandroid I keep going back and playing with...this would be the icing on the cake possibly.

Try inj3cttheory its a desensed Rom with most of the best parts of sense lest in its fast great battery life but still has a slight sense feel

If you are using themes, as long as you download one that says 'hdpi', you should be set. I'm not sure if HTC Elegance is hdpi (i believe it is), but as long as it's hdpi you shouldn't have a problem using the theme on CM7

Totally forget the name right now, but there is a launcher that will mimic the Sense style launcher.... It also does a few other styles. Hopefully someone else knows what I'm talking about and can give you a name.

Which Sense Rom have you been most successful with?

Which Sense rom with 3.0 features have you been successful with?
I tried ARHD w/ 3.0 add-ons, and it was fast and smooth, but the battery life can't compare to CM7
What are your experiences with Virtuous, or other roms? Which kernels did you like?
My current favorite is CM7 with the CM kernel, I get 2+ days of normal use, 1+ day of heavy use, 5hrs 30min+ of screen on time! What do you get with your favorite ROM?

Yes, the rotating buttons are a HTC Sense feature and is not a basic feature of Android Open Source that CM 7 is based on.

ARHD 1.1.6 is the best, and I love the gui of MIUI rom

Ehab's 2.3.4 sense 3 ROM has been the perfect mix of performance and battery life imo..
Other sense 3 roms seem to chew battery but this one is great

What's the diff?I never tried 3.2

Seems quicker
And I love the windows animation,which is not on 3.3
The things missing are native

i have nothing but praise for vu 2.39. stable, fast, beautiful, and great battery life to boot.
arhd, however, takes the cake. i've used it on a couple of phones and it's the best sense rom imo. just waiting for mike to update it to sense 3.0 (or 3.5 hopefully).

I agree that arhd is the best ROM around...
I'm just using sense 3 for a change.
I bet mike will make an amazing sense 3 ROM

newts rom were pretty nice for a while.. what a shame he stopped though!

I'll throw my support behind Virtuous Unity. I have played with ARHD, and i found it just OK, but the full Sense 3.0 experience in VU blows it away.
I am excited to hear about Pyramid 3D as well, but it looks like its not ready yet.

Is there a sense 4. 0 theme out there that can be used on a Rom? I know there's a Rom and I'm trying it but its not as stable as is like.

This sense 4 mode ROM have only 2 button on bottom of screen, but not 4.

the gabbana theme linked in the Xtreme Surprise rom should work on other sense 3.5 roms, I've got it working on RunnyDroid for example (along with the vertical blue battery mod)
