Extended Power Menu - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

I have the Bell Raider running stock with bloat removed and rooted, for the time being I would like to stick with stock but would love a zip file that i can flash from CWM that would give me the extended power menu. So i can boot into recovery etc from the power options.

Can't back up my rom with Clock Works

I go into ClockWorks and try to back up my stock ROM before loading the CW rom. It sends me to the recovery mode screen and just sits on installing CSC (i think that is it)and nothing happens... What am I doing wrong... or how long does it take for it to complete that process??? I checked back in CW and looked for the back up after I clicked reboot in the recovery menu and it is not there.
These are the steps
Dl rom manager
Open app
Flash clockwork
Select captivate
should have an update.zip saved to you're sd
Turn phone off
Vol up and down and power
At&t let go
Recovery
Reinstall packages
Reboots to same screen
Reinstall packages
Green recovery
You can backup from the clockwork menu, or boot up phone and do our through rom manager
Worked like a charm! Thanks a million!

You can always go back to stock, re-root, install CWM, and try restoring again if you are still having trouble. Use Odin:

Ok, I also rooted and installed eSPyel's Paragon ROM and everything is great. However, when I go into CWM and boot into recovery, I get the same issue--it goes to the Samsung Recover <e3> screen (with purple text) and tries installing something but states it failed. I then can move up and down the menus with the Vol Up/Vol Dn buttons but pressing power does nothing. If I remove and then reinsert the battery, it takes me to CWM recovery screen where I can install new ROMs, etc. It goes this every time I try to boot into recovery. Does anyone know a fix or do I just need to Odin back to stock and try again?

[Q] flashed wrong rom!

Hello,
Today i flashed my incredible s, to the new android revolution HD, but i overlooked that and installed the desire hd rom. Now my recovery mode isn't working anymore to flash it back! Now i have downloaded the correct clockwork recovery file and renamed and updated it, but the phone still doesn"t go in recovery mode! how do i fix this?
thanks in advance!
Hmmm sounds like your current rom has a fastboot setting enabled which is not allowing you to go into your recovery but without being able to boot your phone up to disable it you might be bricked. I assume you are using the method of holding the volume down and power buttons together?
Take out the batter and put it in again, then try and hold power and vol -
Problem solved, downloaded the original rom, and then updated.

[Q] Canvas Turbo: Phone bricked

I had the ROM - [ROM][NOTE 3 v3 By Remzej] Ported to A250 [Multiwindow] : http://forum.xda-developers.com/canvas-turbo/development/rom-ported-to-a250-t2686622 and working fine.
I thought of trying new ROM: Tweaked Deodexed [Stock ROM] Micromax A250 Rom Ver.1.0 [17-4-14]: http://forum.xda-developers.com/can.../stock-rom-tweaked-deodexed-micromax-t2720361. The ZIP was not working so tried to load the previous ROM's ZIP again. Now the phone boots to the splash screen - Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9002.
How do i go back to the recovery mode or load some other ROM?
Fixed
Luckily got this resolved.
Pressed the power button and Volume Up button during boot. This gives 2 options:
1. Volume Up to boot in recovery
2. Volume down to boot in factory.
Selected volume up.
Since I had the Notev3 ROM in SD card, safely flashed that and my life is back.

How can I add "boot to recovery" etc to my power down/off menu when holding button?

How can I add "boot to recovery" etc to my power down/off menu when holding button?
when I hold down the power button to bring up the boot options I would like to see an option to boot into recovery and perhaps other things. Can anyone suggest a way to do this preferably an easy way to do this? Is there a program or guide you can recommend? I am rooted 5.1 lollipop
You have two options here. You can either stay on stock, rooted and get G4 Tweaksbox (can be found here on XDA) or you can run an AOSP based rom like Cyanogenmod or Blisspop, which have it built in.
