But I can't seem to find an answer. I'm fearing that I have bricked my cappy. I flashed the "Le Kernel Du Jour" on cm7 whenever it came out, and now starting this morning, I'm stuck in a bootloop. I'm not sure what to do, I was going to try to flash back to stock but when I enter download mode, it says my computer doesn't recognize the device. I've tried to download the driver but I'm having a bit of trouble installing it. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm pretty freaked out right now. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you can get into recovery and flash the last update you have or the initial cm7 package. I would go to mounts first then format cache, sysytem, data. Then flash, then factory reset.

if flashing the kernel messed you up then .... (insert logic here)
get into recovery or download mode and fix your problem!
Please post to the CM7 sticky in this forum.

your phone just stuck at the red CWR screen, won't do anthing?
What exactly hqppened while yiu were flashing it? If it was done you need to go back while in recovery then choose reboot. Thats basic flashing procedure.

What the problem seems to be here is that your phone is messing up because you seem to be posting on the wrong section...try posting on the Q&A section and everything is going to be alright

Hello to all
I was proceeding for a friend to the installation Padron Froyo ROM on HTC Dream brand tim.
I managed to change radio I rebooted into recovery and installed the spl.
The mobile phone has rebooted and from that moment keeps going in a loop of Tim logo.
I tried the key combinations and guides but I can not get it in fastboot it in recovery .. or at least what are the keys that lead me into recovery or fastboot because at this point I think I miss something.
someone can help me.
thank you very much
First of all this is not posted in correct section, next time please post in q&a
Radios and spls should be flashed via fastboot when possible or this situation is easy to come to. If you can not get into bootloader or recovery or have adb access then your only option is JTAG. I would suggest trying as many button combos as possible to get into os/recovery/bootloader as JTAG is not simple

Ok my phone is stuck on a blank screen after turn on, it was on Cyan but i wanted to bring it back to stock and that didnt work, so at this point im stuck with Android system recovery <3e> not much else to do, is there a way to download the stock rom at this point or what should i do?? step by step would be very helpful
You don't have cmw or something? I hope so. The first thing you need to do if you can is put a custom recovery. But the fact that it boots up at all is a plus. If you don't have a custom recovery you need to find a update.zip straight up factory deal. That may help you a lot.
