I have a friend running Android 2.3.7 with a HTC Desire and he was running ubuntu on top of this with a lovely interface. Basically a dual boot with both running at same time. Ubuntu only uses 24mb ram apparently too. Any testers on this??? Thanks. Fraser

Won't work for now.... Since if i'm not mistaking the Galaxy Mini doesn't support the loop stuff in the kernel... Actually it's better to ask squadzone . But probably we will need another kernel.
It will work ..bit with give style cm7 or andro-id...I once installed it on my mini but it was slow and I uninstalled it..but it works

Yeah i will ask squaddy. I was aware of the fact that it needs kernel loop thing. Apparently my rom and kernel supports it anyway and it is supported on mini with correct kernel

Hi !
I just want to know if there is a kernel for Galaxy S which can be able to dual boot CM7 and CM9, like Siyah on Galaxy S2.
Please answer me.

may not be due to RAM.

It's not due to ram. It's not like you have both roms loaded in ram at the same time. You choose what to boot first thing when you turn your phone on.

Its possible to do this but we need a special configuration to chose what to boot and thats the hard thing

Hi. I don't know what happened last night but I cannot get my phone to boot and it's stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Ace logo. I tried almost every tutorial here but to no avail. Should I downlown gingerbread? I am really new to dealing with this kind of issues so if there's someone here who can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
What exactly did you do before it got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Ace logo?
Have you tried flashing stock rom via odin

Hello everybody,
I actually see that a lot of rom are ready for s5830, even cm10 is going to be complete.
So I was guessing, is it possible to port rom from s5830 to s5830i?
Have they yhe same processor, as asked in "how to port rom" guide?
The fact that hardware is pretty the same with some aspect should help us no?
Thank you guys
The hardware isn't the same. The hardware with s5830i and s5360 is the same.
I don't think porting is possible. If it would we would already have ported cm9

Yes I also thought that if it was possible it would have been done...

Doesn't exist so far....
Go to i9305 Development Section, you'll find there all ROMs for i9305.
I know they made it for i9300 but none so far for i9305 that i know of.
