Any way to remap rosie? - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

i was wondering if theres any way to remap the rosie for sense 3.5 on the vivid? Im rooted on holiraider and would like to change the useless personalize button on the dock to messaging or any other application.. I like the feel of sense 3.5 so I'm not looking to run any other launcher..

Not that I'm aware of. Luckily the ICS Sense 3.6 just has the app drawer and 4 open slots for anything else you want. I highly recommend updating.

finally a response. thank you. i understand that other custom roms for other devices allow remapping of the sense rosie.. I really like how my vivid is running on holiraider so ill look into updating..hopefully battery is a lot better on ics..

While I would not recommend flashing any of these mods, if you feel comfortable enough tearing Rosie apart to remap buttons, you might be able to get a sense of what he's modifying to remap the buttons from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8422987#post8422987

[Q] Will this work on DHD

Wil this work on the DHD just curious to see Touchwiz UI
Check it out here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709763
just tried it an it works. no samsung plugins though and it seem a bit laggy compared to Sense
is it an apk file??
Thanks, but as I so not like the samsung UI, I'll stick with my DHD's for now
I prefer sense too that is why I bought a DHD I was just curious about touchwiz UI.

I prefer Sense as well, but being able to freely organize apps on screens, instead of one large list, that shifts when adding or removing apps has something to it. I wish Sense got something like that.

Sense for Fascinate

Does anyone have Sense UI properly working on Fascinate?
Lol. No there probably won't ever be a fully functional one. Sorry

I hear that if you want sense there is an option to purchase as droid incredible which will also give you froyo.
I really see no need for Sense UI anymore since Launcher Pro has sense widgets fully functional. Also, it is less of a resource hog like sense is.

[Q] HTC Sense 2.3 ROM

Is it possible for there to be a HTC Sense Gingerbread ROM? I like Sense and I like Gingerbread. Thank you
well Kifno is making a "gingersense" when it will be done or stable? idk? but what you can do is get AOSPCMod and then download launcher pro and can put a sense like dock background, to make it more sense like. its what i do too, cause i agree with your statment haha
Or heLauncher. It has different layouts like sense and the one in the espresso roms.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA Premium App
yeah that too, i personally never tried that launcher though =]
but you can follow Kifnos thread to see the development of it or whatever.
itllbe very exciting if he finishes it. Cause all his other roms are just amazing
Awesome
Thanks a lot =D. I'm getting the hero and I want Gingerbread. So i'll download the launcher for now
yeah thats the best we Hero user got (as far as my knowledge) =\
warm regards and happy rooting

[Req] Customizable Sense 5 launcher?

First of all - I don't own the One (I have an HTC DNA) but I figured here would be the better place to post it since more people who could answer could see it. I am a complete stranger to this forum section, so if I do something that the people here in this forum are against, I apologize. Also, I'm not sure if this belongs here or in Q&A, so moderators please move if in wrong place.
Now to the actual question,
Is there such a thing as a Sense 5 based launcher that is more customizable? The features I am wanting is things like disabling widget padding, disabling margins, overlapping widgets, and changing app icons/labels. If you don't understand what I am saying, I'll use an anolagy. Apex/Nova is to AOSP launcher, as what I'm asking about is to Sense 5.
All answers are greatly appreciated.

No. But viper Rom lets you customize the stock sense launcher more than HTC intended.

Does viper let u change the task launcher into something other than the sense launcher? I hate the card style task launcher and I am looking for something like the S4. Is there something like that our there? Thanks.

But can you use those modifications on another ROM? I'm interested it Elliptic ROM for my DNA (which was ported from the One, so you may be familiar with it), and I want to know if there is a way to use these Viper features on the DNA.

There are several mods (at least for the DNA) that do this. I am sure there are some for the One.

Do you mean the app switcher? Viper and several other ROMs have an option for the AOSP app switcher.

Could you just pull the prism.apk from the viper launcher? I'm actually curious to know if doing that would work to get the viper sense 5 settings in another ROM, say ARHD for instance..

(REQ) Sense launcher in Aosp rom

As a long time lover of Aosp (since froyo on my old cappy) I really miss it, the problem is I've fallen in love with sense 5. That's all I really care about in sense roms though. So I was wandering if it's possible to port the sense launcher to a gpe rom. Is it possible?
Sent from my HTC One
i think that would require loads of work but im not 100 % on that
Yeah its probably possible with tons of work, but I doubt anyone would take a lot of interest in porting it since honestly it's nothing special of a launcher and it's rather stale in features. Anyways, why do you want the sense 5 launcher over something like nova launcher or action launcher pro?

Blinkfeed. It's perfect for when you're sitting around with nothing to do. I've become quite attached to it.

I guess that's understandable. I settled for Feely though since it's amazingly designed and I can customize it by websites I want easily. Still waiting for new widgets from them though.
