[Q] Encryption in Midnote ICS2.0 - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Rooted with Midnote ICS 2.0 ROM and after my corporate email security encrypted the device, the device reboots.
Upon reboot I am presented with a Chinese screen which asks me to enter my password to decrypt the device.
However there is no way to enter the password – no on screen keyboard and i tried all buttons but the keyboard does not show up.
Any ideas or will encryption not work with this ROM

[Q] Can’t decrypt storage after OTA

I have a Sprint HTC One M7, which recently got an OTA update. I tried to apply this update, but now I can’t boot my phone. It was previously on stock firmware, but unlocked and rooted, and its internal storage was encrypted with a PIN. Now when I try to boot, it shows the decryption password entry screen, but my PIN doesn’t work.
Here are the steps leading up to this situation:
Using Fastboot, flash the stock recovery. Previously, I had TWRP 2.7.0.1 installed, but I went back to stock recovery (from this thread) so that the OTA would work.
Apply the update. This causes the phone to reboot and go through the update procedure. I wasn’t paying attention to the progress bar, so I don’t know if it finished or not.
When I next look at the phone, it’s showing the exclamation mark symbol indicating that the phone has booted into the stock recovery. Instead of entering the recovery, I force-reboot the phone by holding down the power button.
The phone reboots. Now I see the decryption key entry screen, which appears to have been updated in the OTA—the visual style is different from before. I enter my 6-digit PIN, the same one I was using before the OTA to decrypt the phone.
I press the Decrypt button, but after a second the prompt text changes to “The password you entered is incorrect.” Strangely, the number of remaining attempts does not decrement, but remains at 30. I am unable to boot my phone.
I can still reboot the phone to the bootloader menu, and I can enter Fastboot or recovery. However, the recovery is still unable to mount the data partition.
For some reason, I can take screenshots from the decryption prompt screen using Power + Volume Down.
Please help me fix this! I would very much prefer not to lose all my encrypted data, if at all possible.

[Q] Forgot password lock screen me176cx

Hello everyone, my me176cx I entered the password lock screen and now I do not remember anymore. how can I do a factory reset? I tried pressing volume + and power button, enters droidboot but there is the option factory reset, there is only the option recovery but recovery takes me to a page where there is the little robot with a red triangle and written "no command". how can I do? thank you
I have the same problem, the thing (K013) does not enter into reset mode, any help?
Use temporary twrp... ...now search (This way you can leave your data untouched - if you do a research)
2. Use magic comnination to show the recovery menu (search ahain) - this will wipe all you data including /sdcard/

Can you boot into bootloader? If so, flash the recent RUU that is compatible with your carrier (Requires MicroSD card) and rename the file 0P6BIMG.zip and press volume up if you want to start update (This will factory reset your device, so i'm warning you now.) After update, everything should be starting normally again.

Urgent: Realme X2 Pro FROZEN after most recent update

Hello,
After updating for the most recent update, my phone restarted and is now unresponsive showing: "You have to enter the password to access all functions after the phone is rebooted".
I cannot enter the code since the touchscreen is not working, it's completely frozen, although the animations seem to be working, since the clock is working and it opens the shutdown screen.
I tried a forced restart but the problem persists.
Any news on this problem?

Try to enter recovery and factory reset it, or just clear the cache

Hey!
Thanks for the tip.
In recovery mode I still need to input the password and the touchscreen doesn't work.
Any other way I can input the password without the touchscreen?
