I rooted my tablet and installed SuperUser and ClockWorkMod. Everything seemed to be working fine until I turned the tablet off for the day. When I turned it on the next day, I saw the Samsung Galaxy Tab screen and then the screen went blank. It did not proceed to the animation screen. I rebooted into recovery, but could not return to the homescreen. I have tried to boot through Odin, but I do not think I am doing it correctly. I have tried to download several firmware files, but I do not think I am using the correct one. Any assistance would be appreciated. I have sucessfully rooted the original Motorolla Droid, HTC Thunderbolt and latest iTouch. I thought I had a pretty good understanding about rooting, but I think I may have trashed my tablet. Please help!
Thank you,
A very frustrated Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wifi owner.

Hi to all members. I need help on unhooking my galaxy tab. On the first time I rooted my tab is looking fine. I got found other resolution to unrooted my phone.too and also running good. I rooted again on the second time and now I cannot unrooted it. I had use many resolution to unrooted it and still didn't work for me. I also reset it but the superuser still stated in my phone. I can't uninstall it. Does anyone can give me a good resolution on this matter?
So I was running a 4.4.x ROM and it was working great...then my company bought me a wifi-only tablet and that's pretty much useless for me without some tethering, and for whatever reason FoxFi didn't work with my ROM. I searched Google for days, tried mods and all sorts of Xposed stuff, but nothing worked. So I gave up and figured I'd try a new ROM. No reason not to switch to Lollipop, while I was at it - especially because the ROMs currently supported are all 5.0. So I flash a stock 5.0 firmware and tried a ROM - tethering didn't work. Tried another. Same deal. So fine - if i'm going to have no tethering capabilities, I'd rather have it with my old ROM and Nandroid backup.
Using Odin, I flashed the stock firmware that I've been flashing for a year now. It has worked every time in the past. But this time, Odin worked, and passed, and everything looked great - but when I booted up the phone, it starts to boot up, gives me the unlocked lock picture screen, then starts to load the Samsung image, stops mid-way through, and ... NOTHING. Screen goes blank and it hangs forever. I re-flashed with Odin a dozen times...nothing. Wiped data, wiped cache...nothing. I'm out of ideas and apparently Google hasn't seen this before, as far as I can find.
The image is where it stops loading the Samsung logo and then it just goes black.
Please. Help.

I'm not saying you file that you are using is messed up but I've been using the NCE downgrade file in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3076803. It's in the OP, step 5 in the notes section. Worth a shot.
Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE
Android Marshmellow
I used 3.11 APK
Anyway, I followed the installer and flashed the phone, however once it restarted it continues to get stuck at the Verizon screen. Do I need to factory reset the phone? I just rooted my phone today, so I'm still learning. Maybe I didn't use the right version to install? I did a decent amount of research, but apparently I missed something.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Yup... You missed something.
Check out the official Lollipop/Marshmallow thread and look for the red text: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
And when you've done that look up wanams Xposed.
Oh, well I'm an idiot. Is the version of Xposed you mentioned specifically for S7 Edge's?
Alright, well I found this:
repo.xposed.info/module/ma.wanam.xposed
It says discontinued, but I'm assuming that's the one I use?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
You need the unofficial wanam xposed for Samsung devices. The thread is in the main page.
Hello,
After trying to root my Galaxy S6 active (Lollipop 5.1.1 - G890AUCU3BOJE) it is stuck in a boot loop. Since then I have searched for a solution (flash different version of the supposing stock files with Odin, which always fails; recover with Smart Switch e.g.) but everything I have tried fails. Today I found a comment on the web about the Galaxy S6 active cant be rooted.
Anyway, if there is a method to recover and root would be great. If not I woukd be happy to get it working again on android 5.1.1 or even higher.
Every help/hint is very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance.
Peter
download stock rom (7.0.1) and use odin to flash stock. use google search or this forum to look for stock rom.
